Dr. Becky Is Helping Peppa Pig's Family Adjust to Their New Sibling

Peppa Pig and her family are leaning on parenting expert Dr. Becky Kennedy to help ease the transition of welcoming a new baby into their home. With the arrival of Evie, Peppa and her brother, George, are dealing with a bunch of emotions while learning how to be supportive older siblings.
'Welcoming a new baby is a huge transition—especially for older siblings,' Dr. Kennedy tells Parents. 'To them, it can feel like their whole world just changed overnight. And when we only allow one kind of feeling—like excitement—we actually make it harder for them to process everything else they're feeling.'
To help Peppa's family—and the many others entering this new chapter—Hasbro, which owns Peppa Pig, teamed up with the clinical psychologist and founder of Good Inside for a three-part video series on the Muddy Puddle Parenting YouTube channel.
But this is just one part of Hasbro's parent-focused initiative. Here's everything families who love Peppa Pig can expect.
Through Muddy Puddle Parenting, families will learn about fostering strong sibling bonds, building emotional resilience, and encouraging healthy family dynamics through interactions with Peppa Pig's family and Dr. Kennedy.
'Peppa has always focused on helping kids name their feelings and build confidence through everyday situations. This series extends support to caregivers, too,' says Kristin McKay, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Brands, Fashion & Preschool at Hasbro. 'With Muddy Puddle Parenting, we're tapping into familiar challenges like morning chaos or tricky goodbyes, and offering small, meaningful ways to connect through them. It's about helping parents feel more equipped and kids feel more understood.'
In the first episode of Muddy Puddle Parenting (shown below), Mummy and Daddy Pig tell Dr. Kennedy, a mom of three, that Peppa Pig has been struggling to sleep since baby Evie arrived. Dr. Kennedy confirms it's totally normal for kids to exhibit sleep disruptions during family changes and offers advice.
On top of the collaboration with Dr. Kennedy, there will also be a new short-form series titled Peppa Pig: Pep Talks, launching on YouTube. It will feature conversations between Peppa and other guests discussing family dynamics, big feelings, and everyday family challenges.
Parents will also have access to download a free guide on how to navigate tantrums and ongoing parenting content designed to 'meet families where they are.'
McKay hopes the content helps families feel seen and that Peppa can offer support through difficult moments, as well as being a source of entertainment.
'We've always believed that Peppa's world reflects real life, with a bit of cheeky humor that helps us remember not to take everything so seriously, and this series deepens that connection by offering parents meaningful ways to show up for their kids, even when things feel hard (or Muddy—Oink!),' says McKay.
For Dr. Kennedy, collaborating with the widely popular Peppa Pig, which is available in over 180 territories, felt natural.
'My hope is that, especially during big transitions like welcoming a new sibling, we're helping parents feel more confident, more connected, and a little less alone,' says Dr. Kennedy.
Dr. Kennedy shares that when a new baby enters a family, it's totally normal for siblings to feel a range of emotions, including excitement, nervousness, jealousy, or sadness.
"It's a big adjustment, and kids often have conflicting feelings—like being happy one moment and feeling left out the next or feeling both at the same time," she says.
These are emotions Peppa is trying to get through. In the first episode, Dr. Kennedy encourages Mummy and Daddy to talk to Peppa and validate her emotions about her new sibling.
Dr. Kennedy also offers Parents a few more smart tips to ease the transition.
"After you've had a new baby, have your first moment with your older child without the baby," she shares.
In the hospital, you can ask the nurses if they can keep the baby with them when your older child comes in before introducing them. If an older sibling doesn't go to the hospital, you can enter your home and greet your other child without the baby in your arms.
"This way, your older kid doesn't feel like they are intruding," Dr. Kennedy explains. "Instead, they are firming up their version of their family up to this point and they have agency in welcoming in the new baby."
There's no need to spring older siblings into "big kid" roles after a new baby arrives.
"Here's the thing: our kids want to be both independent and dependent. They want to feel old and feel cared for," says Dr. Kennedy. "The more we push our child to identify as the 'big kid,' the more they may feel pulled to regress—especially if their needs as a 'young kid' aren't being seen or validated."
Again, it's important to validate any emotions big siblings may feel and know what to say in return.
"Let's do away with the narrative of, 'Isn't it just so amazing to become a big brother?'" she says. "To help your child process these emotions, we encourage open conversations about their feelings. You might say something like: 'It's OK to feel a lot of different things about the baby. You might feel excited and also a little mad or confused, and that's perfectly OK.'"
Dr. Kennedy continues, "By giving 'pre-permission' for a feeling, you're giving it a soft landing place for when it arrives—and this helps a child regulate the feeling instead of being overwhelmed by it."
Bottom line, welcoming a new baby into the home can be tricky for an older sibling. But with some love and understanding (and maybe a little Peppa Pig), this big change can be an overall happy experience.
"I always say: we can't take away the hard but we can take away the alone, and it turns out that taking away the alone makes things a bit easier to manage," says Dr. Kennedy.

AWGE Spring 2026: Clothes Maketh What You Make Of Them

Within the fashion realm, the black vans circling around the church where A$AP Rocky's spring AWGE show was held spelled the arrival of A-lister guests. But in the broader global landscape, one couldn't help think of ICE raids and protests, an impression the masked protesters and armed forces in flak vests facing off outside the venue did nothing to dispel. More from WWD A$AP Rocky Debuted New Puma Sneaker Collaborations in Paris With Support From Rihanna The Originals: Yohji Yamamoto Takashi Murakami and Readymade's Yuta Hosokawa Team on Capsule Collection The stage seemed set for a riot, and they got one – Riot Mayers in the arms of mom Rihanna. In their wake, the crowd moved inside with all the resigned weariness of travelers passing between the hands of the TSA and through security gates. Eventually, Rocky had guests – who included fellow musicians A$AP Nast, Miguel – nodding in their seats to the sound of a new track rumored to be from his hotly anticipated 'Don't Be Dumb' album. For AWGE's sophomore coed collection, titled 'Obligatory Clothing,' the rapper-turned-designer zeroed in on archetypes that went from suit-wearing lawyers and paramedics to youths in hair curlers and XXL streetwear, a glamourpuss wearing a trench over a micro-miniskirt and louche types in satin playing card prints – what you think they do for a living is on you. 'For me, this whole 'Obligatory Fashion' statement was just [about] how you take the simple uniform or the purpose of a uniform, and how people correlate that to profession, lifestyle and everything,' Rocky said after the show. By the time the hammer fell in the 'City Court of AWGE,' as one print indicated, the verdict was: if sharp tailoring is a crime, the brand is guilty as charged. Here, he continued to refine the ideas introduced in his first effort, and served his purpose of skewing perception. Suit jackets looked classic from the front and were backless; tailored trousers were split into a skirt; shirts turned into crisp halter tops; sagging trousers had six waistbands – half boxer shorts, half denim ones. Elsewhere, his eye for tweaking proportions just so came through strongly, as evidenced by a workwear suit cut oversized which felt dressed up under the combined influence of cropped trousers and red-soled patent Mary-Janes. It was the kind of detail that made his designs stand up to sartorial scrutiny. There were plenty of accessories to further mix things up, like paper bags with a flower peeking from the glass bottle inside, which brought Banksy's famous Flower Thrower mural to mind. The musical artist's collaborations were also represented. Eyewear and clutches shaped like XXL cases nodded to his role as creative director of Ray-Ban. Feet were clad in the upcoming Puma Mostro Gabbia and a distressed iteration on the Speedcat model. Those Mary-Janes and stilettos were from Christian Louboutin and came with bedazzled charms made by jewelry label Pavē Niteō, which is under the A$AP Rocky Ventures, Inc. umbrella. Pointed commentary on recent and current events as well as his own experiences was palpable but delivered with a light touch. 'I'm gonna put all of these things into my fashion to tell my story without having it to be so like 'look, I'm controversial and political,'' he said. 'I'm just showing you the way I see it in little nifty ways.' Just as pointed is his retail strategy. After available exclusively on the brand's website for its debut, the brand will now be opening to wholesale accounts. But don't expect to see AWGE on every major retail floor. 'I want to start off very niche…small, limited and exclusive,' Rocky said. 'There's no way to do that in an environment that's oversaturated with new brands, old brands.' Plus, 'there's just a lot going on in the global economy – it's f–ed, pardon my French, for lack of better words,' he continued. 'And I think I have a particular customer, and I want to target that customer [who] loves, grieves and agrees with everything that I like, my taste, my values, my lifestyle, my past, my conflictions and my story.' And that customer may get their hands on the goods sooner than they think: the brand announced it was holding a sample sale in Paris on Sunday and Monday. Beyoncé Saves Her Most Star-Spangled Custom Look for...London?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Sure, Beyoncé is in Europe from now until June 22, but her Americana aesthetic lives on. Instead of going the Union Flag route à la Ginger Spice, she took center stage in patriotic cowboy-core for her first Cowboy Carter show in London. She even brought one of her favorite American labels with her: Levi's. Halfway through the three-hour set at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Beyoncé debuted a new Levi's look during "Texas Hold 'Em," "Jolene," and other country-coded hits. The classic brand created the ambassador's entire ensemble in collaboration with her longtime stylist, Shiona Turini, starting with a monogrammed bodysuit. Covered in Swarovski crystal rhinestones from top-to-bottom, the short-sleeve one-piece featured the iconic Levi's logo across her chest. The double "i" paid homage to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter track "LEVII'S JEANS." It also matched T-shirts included in Beyoncé's limited-edition collaboration with Levi's, which launched in May. View Deal It wouldn't be a true Levi's creation without at least one denim design. The brand hand-stitched vintage jeans in different textures, washes, and styles together to build a patchwork cape. The elongated coat flowed behind her as she strutted down a catwalk. It matched her similar denim cowboy hat to a T. A few songs later, Beyoncé ditched the denim trench to reveal her cheeky chaps—another Levi's fashion. Just like her bodysuit, the star-spangled overalls were entirely embellished with Swarovski crystals in red, white, and blue. Both sides of her cowboy-coded chaps featured rhinestone fringe—a signature accent of her Cowboy Carter era. If you keep tabs on her couture costumes, you know Beyoncé's bottoms originally premiered during the tour's fifth and final show at New Jersey's Met Life Stadium. On May 29, she paired them with a New York Yankees varsity jacket and a sporty cowboy hat from Maurice Hats. However, they were made to be worn with head-to-toe Levi's. The label constructed the chaps out of the Ribcage Wide Leg Jeans—fan-favorite pants, which ring in at $98. For that price, you can rhinestone them yourself. View Deal To no surprise, Levi's also supplied Beyoncé's background dancers with custom co-ords. They sported the same fringed chaps, a denim crop top, and hot pants in a similar dark wash as the star's jeans. While this may be Levi's first design for the Cowboy Carter tour, thanks to the Beyhive's high praise, it certainly won't be the last. "You chose the right girl for this," said one fan, while another commented, "Beautiful!!! Y'all did that!!"

Hailey Bieber Gets Her Paws On a Rare, Vintage Leopard-Print Dress

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Fashion's most avowed minimalist has lately been showing her true stripes—or rather, spots. Hailey Bieber has steadily replaced her white, tan, and black pieces with luxe leopard prints since September 2024. Some of her wildest wears range from a Toteme Fall 2025 coat to a Saint Laurent pony-hair tote bag. But until now, she's limited leopard looks to her off-duty outings. On June 10, Bieber attended the 2025 Business of Beauty Global Forum, hosted by Business of Fashion. The multi-hyphenate chatted all things Rhode (including its billion-dollar acquisition) with the executive editor of Business of Beauty, Priya Rao, at Stanly Ranch in Napa, California. Instead of channeling her beauty brand's minimalist color palette, Bieber embraced her wild side in vintage Versace, circa Fall 1996. With help from her longtime stylist, Dani Michelle, the new mom sourced one of Gianni Versace's final collections before his tragic passing. Even though it's 28 years old—exactly Bieber's age—the sleeveless mini looked good as new, complete with a high, asymmetrical neck and a thigh-length hem. If you zoom in enough, you'll see the black and cream finish appeared to be real fur, as opposed to a printed pattern. While she loves a pointy pump (preferably with YSL tags), this time Bieber selected a more summery style: peep-toe mules. The gold detailing on each patent leather shoe revealed their designer as Saint Laurent—a fitting selection for the brand ambassador. Shockingly, Bieber opted out of her usual jewelry, including diamond stud earrings, a few bracelets, and layered necklaces. Instead, she just popped on her 10-carat engagement ring. She also left a purse at home. But if she had carried one, it likely would've been a small clutch from the Anthony Vaccarello-led label. Perhaps her new favorite, the Suzanne Shoulder Bag, which sold out immediately once she debuted it in May. Bieber's LLD (little leopard dress) holds a place in fashion history, as most of her vintage finds do. Back in 1996, Amber Valletta wore the same mock-neck mini for the September issue of Vogue. Captured by the esteemed Stephen Meisel, Valletta paired it with strappy metallic pumps in gold. Unless you have Michelle on speed dial, Bieber's dress is off limits. But don't worry, you can still channel her leopard look this summer. Just get your claws on one of the similar options below. View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal View Deal
