8BitDo Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard (Xbox Licensed Edition) Hits All-Time Low, Even Less Than Prime Day

When it comes to nostalgia tech, there is simply no one doing it better than 8BitDo. This mechanical keyboard highlights that tremendously. It's based on not just any Xbox. This translucent green shell specifically evokes the limited edition Xbox original console which released bundled with Halo: Combat Evolved. I just had the standard Xbox growing up, but my friend Adam had the Halo-edition one and, man, was that thing a beaut. See at Amazon This Xbox-inspired mechanical keyboard from 8BitDo, normally priced at $120, is seeing a rare discount right now at Amazon. The 19% savings chops the price down by $22. That results in a new price of just $98 which happens to be the 8BitDo Retro keyboard's lowest price ever. This 87-key mechanical keyboard is compatible with Windows 10 and up as well as Android 9 and up which means it can even be hooked up to your phone to play games on. It has several options to choose from for how you connect to your PC or other device. Either go wired or connect over 2.4G wireless or via Bluetooth. The USB receiver can be stored easily in a magnetic compartment when not in use so it doesn't get misplaced. While the majority of the keyboard is in its translucent Halo-green shell, the up, down, left, and right arrow keys each get a unique yellow, green, blue, and red color scheme. These emulate how the Y, A, X, and B buttons looked on the first Xbox controllers. Additionally, The keyboard is backlit with eight different light modes you can swap between. The integrated Xbox button will activate the Windows Game Bar when used on a Windows device, just like if you press the Xbox button on an Xbox controller plugged into your PC. A small detail I really love is the littles knobs in the top left corner which can be used to control things like volume and Bluetooth settings. My laptop's keyboard I'm using right now requires me to hold down FN to adjust volume settings and I hate it. This keyboard doesn't feature a number pad, which does cut down on the space it takes up on your desk. It does, however, include two huge programmable Super Buttons. The functions of these can be customized without the need to download any extra software. For a limited time, you can score this Xbox-inspired 8BitDo retro mechanical keyboard for a steep $22 discount. That knocks the price down from $120 to just $98. See at Amazon

This Amazon dress gets me so many compliments, and it's on sale right now for under $70 — but hurry, it's a lightning deal

Select colours of this "incredibly flattering" dress are currently on sale, but only for a limited time. After searching for the perfect summer dress for an event and having no luck with my go-to retailers, I started to feel defeated and decided to check out Amazon for a last-minute option. I wasn't hoping for much, but I figured Prime delivery would ensure it delivered on time, and who knows, maybe I would stumble upon something flattering to get me by. Luckily, I ended up hitting the Amazon fashion jackpot. I opted for the PRETTYGARDEN Women's Eyelet Maxi Dress, and it totally exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and cuteness. It immediately reminded me of the bestselling Somerset Dress from Anthropologie — but at a more affordable cost. Quick shop: I snagged it in this bright blue shade, which screams summer, and it scored me tons of compliments at said event. When I told people it was from Amazon Canada, they were visibly impressed. While $73 can be considered pricey for the retailer, in my review below I'll touch on why I think it's worth the price — as well as some areas that could use improvement. However, while we're on the topic of price tags, select colours and sizes of this dress are currently on sale — but only for a few hours. Read on for the details before the lightning deal ends. Review: The details, pros and cons Let's dive into all the details of this frock, why I think it's great, as well as what I didn't like. Right off the bat, this dress is effortlessly stylish and comfortable. It's made from soft, lightweight fabric and features a flattering A-line shape, chic V-neckline and dainty eyelet details that add a feminine touch. The short sleeves and ruffled hem make it look elevated (and quite frankly, more expensive than it actually is). Plus, the flowy silhouette is flattering for all body types, making it a go-to for everything from special occasions to casual brunch. It's available in sizes S–XXL and in various vibrant and neutral colours. You can pair it with your favourite sandals, flats or heels to complement virtually any look you're going for. What I love about it: The airy eyelet material feels very comfy for all-day wear Its flowy A-line silhouette is flattering and makes me feel confident The V-neckline allows me to dress it up with necklaces It's versatile — great for travel, events or casual days Very stretchy and not constricting Super easy to take on and off (no buttons, zippers or anything to fuss with) What I don't love about it: It's on the pricier side for Amazon (however, still worth it, in my opinion) I spotted some threads that had to be cut off It's on the bigger side, so next time I'd size down The liner underneath isn't as long as the dress itself (just a personal pet peeve) No pockets! What others are saying 👗 "Truly a great find." ⭐ 4.5/5 stars 🛍️ 800+ ratings Don't just take my word for it — let's see what other reviewers have to say about this dress. Do they love it as much as I do? Someone who is "very self-conscious" about their postpartum body said they're "in love with this dress." "This dress made me feel better," they stated. Another person called it a "fun, cheerful dress" that you can wear to "a range of occasions." A third reviewer echoed this sentiment, calling it a "beautiful dress." "This dress is so incredibly flattering," said one customer. They continued, "If it were $20 cheaper I would probably buy another colour." "Minimizes my stomach, defines my waist," wrote one person. However, they said, "If I could change one thing, it would be to lengthen the arms a tad." "The only 'eek' was the price… just a tad too rich for my blood but in the end, it was worth it!" shared another. So, what's the verdict? If you've been struggling to find the perfect versatile dress for many different occasions, this PRETTYGARDEN Women's Eyelet Maxi Dress might be just what you're looking for. As a shopping editor, I come across (and try on) a lot of pieces, and I can honestly say the quality on this one passes the test. After wearing it to an all-day event, I can confirm it's comfortable, lightweight and very flattering. However, is it worth the price? I'm going to say yes, especially on sale, while simultaneously agreeing it's kind of pricey for Amazon. But hey, when you find something good, sometimes you've gotta splurge.

This Popular LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Set Is Nearly Free, Rated 4.9 Stars on Amazon

Star Wars is one of the most popular licenses that LEGO has (alongside Harry Potter) and whenever there's a discount on one of their Star Wars sets, fans flock to get their hands on it. That's what's going on right now with the Star Wars R2-D2 set, which is now available at a new all-time low price of $79 on Amazon, having been $100. This is as good as it gets on Black Friday and Prime Day, so this is an excellent opportunity. Loaded with an excellent 4.9-star rating on Amazon, this set is a best-seller. See at Amazon This LEGO set recreates the adorable R2-D2 droid with 1,050 pieces in a model that stands over 9 inches tall, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. The model perfectly blends playful details with a faithful look that will please Star Wars fans. The head rotates a full 360 degree, so you can spin Artoo around like he's scanning the surroundings. A third leg that is removable opens, allowing him movement in 'driving' or 'walking' positions, just like in the movies. The front panels open to reveal extendable tools, highlighting R2-D2's classic skill at spaceship repair and system hacking. A secret compartment is included within to store Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, so this is a set that is not only full of surprises but also storytelling potential. Along with the primary build, this set also includes a LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary Darth Malak minifigure. Display options are built into the set. It comes with a stand that holds R2-D2 securely in position and there's an information plaque with the 25th Anniversary logo to provide your collection with a museum-quality feel. Given the price of $79, this set offers excellent value. LEGO Star Wars sets rarely drop this low, especially for figures as iconic as R2-D2. If you're a fan or know someone who is, now is a great time to add this piece to your collection without paying full price. See at Amazon
