Molly-Mae Hague inspired by Paris Fury over latest move as she rekindles romance
As Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury enjoyed a fun getaway on the Isle of Man with Tommy's brother Tyson, his wife Paris and their extensive brood, a source claims it's done Molly-Mae the world of good – especially as Paris, 35, has been a pillar of support when she needed it most.
'Paris has been Molly-Mae's rock as she's been slowly rekindling things with Tommy. It was Paris who encouraged them all to go away together last weekend. They may not make their relationship a big public thing, but Molly appeared in the Furys' documentary. They have a close bond - and a secret pact to always be there for each other,' said the source.
The getaway came after a rocky period for the former Love Island stars, after their shock split last year and subsequent reunion five months later. Not to mention, the fallout from Molly's no-holds-barred Amazon documentary, in which she opened up about Tommy's drinking and its devastating affect on their relationship
Heading across the Irish Sea for the family trip, Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 26, took along their two-year-old daughter Bambi, who was seen enjoying some quality time with her cousins; V enezuela, 15, Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, nine, Prince Adonis Amaziah, six, Valencia, seven, Athena, three, and Prince Rico, 22 months.
It's the first time Molly-Mae has joined the Fury clan for a getaway since she and Tommy got back together, and the source claims that the extended family trip has done them nothing but good. 'It was nice for the family to be close and it has really helped her and Tommy. They both really trust Paris and see her as a wise sounding board, so having her and Tyson around is nice,' they explained.
Sharing sweet snaps from the trip, Molly-Mae posted one of Bambi with two of her cousins, as Tommy shared selfies enjoying some joint workouts with his boxing champ brother Tyson and nephew, Prince John James.
Molly-Mae and Tommy, who met on Love Island in 2019, shocked fans when they suddenly called it a day, last August. At the time, they failed to reveal the reason for their break-up but fans were gobsmacked, as they'd appeared super loved-up just days prior.
But wearing her heart on her sleeve earlier this year in her Amazon Prime documentary, Behind It All, Molly-Mae admitted that Tommy's unhealthy relationship with alcohol ultimately led to the breakdown of their relationship.
'He's never had an alcohol problem, but alcohol caused problems for us. It got to a point where I wasn't looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much,' she confessed, sadly.
And Tommy subsequently admitted in an interview with Men's Health, 'The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be any more. It kills me to say it, it's true, I couldn't. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.'
The split also came after Tommy was seen partying until the early hours on a string of occasions, while Molly-Mae was looking after their young daughter back home. In the documentary, Molly-Mae's sister, Zoe, was seen in one episode saying that she wasn't sure getting back together was the best thing for her sister – admitting she 'worried' for Molly-Mae if she was to give things with Tommy another shot.
It can't have been easy for Tommy's relatives to hear. At the time, Tyson and Paris were rumoured to be aggravated by Zoe's comments, with sources claiming that the family weren't impressed that she was speaking ill of the boxer to a TV viewership of millions.
However, our source says that the family have put any rumours of a rift well and truly behind them. 'There were a lot of feud rumours between the families when Molly and Tommy split up, it wasn't nice for Tommy's family to hear Molly-Mae talking publicly about his addictions.
But family has always been so important to the Furys, and Molly-Mae wants nothing more than for Bambi to grow up with a close bond to her cousins, that's the main thing.'
The source also explains that Molly-Mae is now understanding Tommy's family better, after their very different upbringings have caused locked horns in the past.
Tommy is from a traditional Irish Traveller background. Tyson and Paris' children are not required to attend school after the age of 11 – as per Fury tradition. However, Molly-Mae grew up in Hertfordshire to a middle-class family, and had a full education before pursuing a career in influencing and TV.
Back in 2023, Molly-Mae admitted that their starkly differing views on how children should be raised was a bone of contention for her and Tommy.
'With Tommy being a Traveller, he has had conversations with me about our child not going to school, which is absolutely non-optional. I've been raised completely differently to that.
'It would never be a question that our children – or child – would not go to school. But, hopefully, it won't cause too many rifts,' she admitted on Tyson and Paris' Netflix show, At Home With The Furys. While Bambi isn't yet at school age, our source says Molly-Mae is beginning to understand Tommy's background more, with a helping hand from Paris.
'Paris has helped Molly-Mae to understand the Furys and how to deal with them, rather than it turning into an argument. It's like a new start for Tommy and Molly-Mae, and Paris has been instrumental in that.'

Love Island: Are Harrison And Lauren In A Relationship Now?
Last week's Island bought a twist no one saw coming, when Harrison Solomon made the shock decision to leave the villa. It came after a rough week for Harrison, who was in a love triangle with Toni Laites and Lauren Wood. After asking Toni to recouple with him, bombshell Angel chose Ty as her number one – leaving Lauren packing her bags. Fans watched a tearful Lauren ( quite literally ) beg Harrison to leave with her – and while he took 24 hours to mull over the decision, he later announced he would be leaving the villa to go and get 'girlfriend' material Lauren. Now, after landing back in the UK separately, the pair have broken their silence on their villa exit – with scenes of them reuniting shown on AfterSun. When asked by Maya Jama whether the couple were now official, Harrison added, 'Nah, nah, sorry to disappoint but we're not boyfriend and girlfriend. But I think we'll get there very soon.' Elsewhere, Harrison revealed that the final recoupling - which saw Toni pick him after he asked her to do so on the terrace – was the final straw. 'I spent the next two days with Toni and I feel like something was holding me back a little bit,' he explained. And despite Harrison's blatant disrespect while in the villa, Lauren insisted it was all fair game now that he'd followed her off the show. Explaining that his choice to quit after she begged him to leave 'showed me everything that I needed to know', Lauren said, 'Obviously the situation with the re-coupling, I found so disrespectful. It was just the timing of it. I understood why he wanted to still get to know her, and I said he could still get to know her when we were in a couple. So I didn't understand the recoupling situation. I think he knows that, and he is very sorry for what he's done. But I think leaving the villa showed me that he obviously has made his decision. It was a big decision to make.' Prior to the show, Harrison had also addressed concerns over how their long-distance romance would last. Harrison currently lives in America, while dog walker Lauren lives in York. 'We will make the distance work. It will be no issue,' he said, adding, 'I have no doubt in my mind that she'll be my girlfriend one day.' Some fans have praised Harrison for following his heart. 'I'm so happy Harrison reflected on his actions and chose to leave with Lauren,' wrote one. 'By doing that, he showed a lot of maturity and growth. It was obvious he really liked her the whole time so he made the right decision.' Others, however, aren't quite so keen. 'I hate that [Love Island] is trying to shape Harrison and Lauren as a romcom/fairytale? He was absolutely horrible to her and Toni, and Lauren's just taken it?' wrote one. 'Harrison didn't deserve any platform after the stunt he pulled. But in true moden day fashion, the world rewards bad behaviour and Lauren does too,' added another. Another wrote, 'Women's Aid complained about Harrison on behalf of Lauren only for her to turn around and beg Harrison to leave with her… Oh my.' Harrison's love triangles actions saw him draw plenty of criticism inside and outside the villa, including from charity Women's Aid, who raised concerns over this treatment of both women in the villa – sleeping with Lauren two nights in a row, before coupling up with Toni. Defending himself against the backlash during a chat with MailOnline, Harrison said, 'It's hard to digest. I would disagree with a lot of it in terms of my respect for women, I do respect women.' 'The worst has been from Women's Aid. I know myself and the girls on the show too, Toni said she knows I'm not a bad person, I just went about situations in the wrong way, but the Women's Aid statement wasn't nice… it's not nice coming out of the villa to my mum upset by that, so I would have that's been the hardest.' 'I got it wrong, and the back and forth between the two connections caused more harm than I ever intended. It wasn't ever an ego thing. I am not proud of how I handled things, and I'm not going to make excuses. I just want to own it. If people can give me the space to grow from it, I will do everything I can do be better.'
