What Happens After The UPSC Prelims Result 2025?
The UPSC Mains 2025 is tentatively scheduled for August. The UPSC Civil Services Mains Exam consists of 9 papers in total. Out of these, 7 papers are counted for merit, while 2 papers are qualifying in nature.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the timetable for the CAPF ACs Recruitment Examination 2025. Candidates appearing for the recruitment exam of 357 Assistant Commandants (ACs) at the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) can check the schedule on the official website at UPSC CAPF ACs 2025 exam timetable is available at The schedule is given here. As per the official notice, the UPSC CAPF ACs Exam 2025 will be conducted on August 3, 2025. The exam will be held in two shifts. The General ability and Intelligence (Objective) paper will be conducted from 10 AM to 12 noon, and General Studies, Essay & Comprehension (Conventional) paper will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. Paper 2 or General Studies, Essay and Comprehension will carry 200 marks, wherein candidates will be allowed the option of writing the essay component in English or Hindi, but the medium of precis writing, comprehension components and other communications/language skills will be English only. While a few clear it in the first attempt, the majority of the aspirants fail to make the final cut even after exhausting all their attempts. There are lakhs of aspirants who never accept defeat and reach their destination with hard work. One such story is of Neha Byadwal. Who Is Neha Byadwal? Born in Rajasthan and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Neha Byadwal faced her first major setback when she failed in Class 5. Undeterred, she moved to Bhopal with her father, where she joined an English-medium school that fined students for speaking Hindi. Despite the initial language barrier, Neha adapted and learned quickly. Her UPSC Journey Daughter of a senior Income Tax Officer, Neha was inspired to pursue civil services. However, the road was far from easy. She failed the UPSC prelims twice and didn't clear the mains in her third attempt.
