Southwest will begin flying to St. Thomas in 2026

Southwest Airlines will begin serving St. Thomas in early 2026. The airline has yet to provide further details, including specific routes, or even how many routes it will fly to the U.S. Virgin Islands locale. A launch date has also not yet been set as the airline awaits regulatory approvals, but Southwest said tickets will be available for purchase soon. St. Thomas will be Southwest's first new destination since November 2021, when it launched what turned out to be short-lived service to Syracuse, N.Y. The airline is also teasing that it will announce two more new destinations over the course of the summer. In the Caribbean, Southwest currently flies to Aruba, the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Turks and Caicos.

It's the real deal — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote — all classic desktop apps. After you purchase it here and install it on your PC or Mac, it's yours forever. No subscription, no monthly fee, no mysterious charges appearing six months later with a vague description like 'Productivity Solution Tier 2'. Word is still the gold standard for documents, now with more refined tools for layout, spelling, but of course not without the passive-aggressive red squiggle that lives to ruin your day. Excel handles big data better than ever (though it still can't explain where all your money went). PowerPoint is smoother, with upgraded design suggestions and recording tools for when your boss demands a 'quick' presentation that takes four hours. And of course, Outlook continues to organize your inbox and calendars. Compatibility-wise, as long as you have macOS Monterey or later, or Windows 10 or 11, you're good. You can't transfer the license to another machine later, so choose wisely. Or emotionally. Up to you. Don't pass up this deal on a lifetime license for Microsoft Office 2024 Home & Business for Mac or PC for $159.97 (reg. $249.99) ending July 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT. StackSocial prices subject to change.
