, which aims to send Indian astronaut

International Space Station
(ISS), has faced yet another delay.

Originally scheduled for May 29, the mission has been postponed multiple times due to a combination of technical issues and adverse weather conditions.
Technical snag
The latest setback comes after
identified a liquid oxygen (LOX) leak in the
Falcon-9 rocket
during a post-static fire inspection. This issue, which traces back to the rocket's previous Starlink mission, was initially undetected during the booster's post-flight refurbishment.
SpaceX Vice President William Gerstenmaier explained that the leak was discovered during a seven-second hot test on the launch pad, which was intended to validate the performance of the booster stage.
In addition to the LOX leak, engineers also identified a thrust vector control issue with engine five. "Space flight is really hard, and we're learning every day," Gerstenmaier said.
Weather woes
Compounding the technical difficulties, the mission has also been hampered by unfavorable weather conditions.
On June 10, the launch was postponed by a day due to bad weather in the flight path. SpaceX and Axiom Space have been closely monitoring weather patterns to ensure a safe launch window.
The Axiom-4 mission is a significant milestone for India, Poland, and Hungary, marking a return to human spaceflight for these nations.
The crew including veteran astronaut
Peggy Whitson
, includes Polish engineer Sławosz Uznański, Hungarian researcher Tibor Kapu, and India's Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla.

The 14-day mission aims to foster international collaboration and scientific research aboard the ISS.
Chairman V Narayanan, who is in the US to oversee the launch, confirmed the delay and expressed confidence in SpaceX's ability to resolve the technical issues. "The ISRO team discussed with experts at Axiom and SpaceX, and it was decided that the leak would be fixed and necessary validation tests conducted before clearing for the launch," Narayanan said.
SpaceX has also assured that once repairs are complete and pending range availability, a new launch date will be announced.

Scores tied 2-2. This isn't just a game — it's Test Cricket in all its timeless glory. A series for the ages. Hats off to IND & ENG for the drama, grit, and greatness,' wrote Nadella, praising both Indian and English sides. With more and more one-day cricket around the world, it was a timely boost for the longest format of the sport which many people believe is fighting for its existence. Pacer Mohammed Siraj was star in India's stunning win in the fifth Test against England that which helped them square the intensely-fought five-match series. Mohammed Siraj (5/104) was the standout performer, delivering one of his finest performances under pressure. He finished the series with 23 wickets — the highest across both teams. Set a record target of 374, England were well-placed at 339 for six at stumps on the penultimate day, before bad light and rain halted play. However, India picked up the remaining four wickets quickly on the final morning to bowl England out for 367.

‘India is very beautiful': Nasa astronaut recalls stunning nighttime view of Delhi, Mumbai from space

Ranveer Allahbadia recently sat down with former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, who shared a unique perspective on India, discussing how Delhi and Mumbai are viewed from space at night. During the podcast, Massimino spoke about how breathtaking India appears when viewed from space. Allahbadia later shared a snippet of the interview on Instagram, capturing a moment where he asked the astronaut, 'Do some parts of the Earth look more beautiful, or is it all just gorgeous to look at as one piece?' Massimino replied, 'India's very beautiful. It's all interesting.' He went on to describe how stunning Earth looks at night when seen from orbit. 'Nighttime, it gets really cool and magical. You can see the stars very clearly. But looking down on the Earth, you see city lights. So you see some of the big cities like Mumbai or New Delhi or New York City…' he said. In the shared clip, Massimino also reflected on his connection with India. He revealed that seeing the country from space made him want to visit it someday.
