Patrick Mahomes Says Goodbye to His 'Dad Bod' as He Showcases His Off-Season Abs During Miami Boat Party with Wife Brittany
In a series of photos shared on Instagram by Brittany, the couple can be seen posing side-by-side as they stood on the deck of the boat in their swimsuits
"Had the best time with my peeps," Brittany wrotePatrick Mahomes showcased his off-season abs as he and wife Brittany Mahomes celebrated the Fourth of July on a boat in Miami with some friends.
On Sunday, July 6, Brittany shared a series of photos on Instagram, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the sun-filled festivities.
In one picture, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the Kansas City Current co-owner, both 29, could be seen posing side-by-side as they stood on the deck of the boat in their swimsuits with the Miami skyline behind them.
In a nod to the patriotic holiday, Brittany wore a blue one-piece suit with lacing on the sides, topped with a sheer white button-down shirt featuring a red and blue star print. Patrick, who was shirtless, showed off his physique in dark blue swim shorts and a pair of red sunglasses.
In another shot, the athlete kisses his wife on the head, and an additional photo — shared on Instagram by Brittany's friend Cassidy Greinert — shows Patrick standing front and center with his wife and several other couples.

In yet another snap included in Brittany's carousel, the mom of three and several of her friends sport red-and-white "1995" hats, seemingly referring to the year they were born.
"Red, White & Y'all 🤍❤️💙," Brittany captioned her Instagram post, adding on her Instagram Stories: "Had the best time with my peeps."
Patrick has been candid about his physical fitness throughout his career, even joking about having a "dad bod" in the past.
Last year, the quarterback reacted to a still from the series Inside the NFL from the Chiefs' locker room celebrations after their AFC Championship win. The image showed a shirtless Patrick giving his teammates a pep talk after they secured their spot in the upcoming Super Bowl.
"Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?" Patrick wrote in a post on X, adding three laughing emojis and the hashtag, "#DadBodSzn."
Quoting his own post on the app, he added, "Like I got kids!!!"
'I definitely have the dad bod a little bit...' he later admitted in a cover story for the 2024 TIME100 Most Influential People list. 'I'll also say, I have a great body for a quarterback.'
He further explained, 'You've got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take.'
Patrick's trainer Bobby Stroupe also previously spoke to PEOPLE about the jokes surrounding the Super Bowl champ's 'dad bod,' but said at the time that the NFL star was in perfect shape for his position.
'I'll be the first to tell you that I think an NFL quarterback should have at least 14% body fat,' Stroupe said. 'It's not from an unhealthy standpoint, but from a force absorption standpoint. You have to be able to take contact.'
'We know there's just not a lot of quarterbacks in the Hall of Fame that have a six-pack and there's a reason for that. We've got to find that fine line of performance and health. And the aesthetic part is a different conversation,' the trainer continued. 'I don't need him to look like a model because the way he chooses to play requires a certain type of physicality, and that physicality needs more body fat. That is a core belief that I do have for him.'

Major Steelers News Turns Heads on Thursday
Major Steelers News Turns Heads on Thursday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the NFL's busiest teams this offseason as they gear up for what should be another tough AFC North campaign. Mike Tomlin's squad will feature plenty of new faces, but the front office just locked in one of its most important veterans off the field. Advertisement The team announced Thursday that general manager Omar Khan signed a new three-year contract that will keep him with the Steelers through at least the 2028 season. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero was first to report the news. Khan has been with the organization since 2001, starting as a football administration coordinator. He later moved up to director of football administration, then vice president of football and business administration. In 2022, he was officially named general manager. The move stirred plenty of reaction from fans online. As usual, Steelers Nation had mixed opinions. This fan gets it started: "So far it's been a lot of big swings but not a lot to show for it, that being said I'm extremely excited for this season. Think this is the first year u can really say the roster is built the way he wanted it to be + the clear plan to take a QB in 26. Well deserved." Advertisement "Feels premature tbh," questioned here. The typical Steelers question was addressed, "That means Tomlin stays if they have a .500 or better season." This commenter is not so sure, "Even (after) the Fitzpatrick trade?" Some positive light: "He's made some good deals and had a great draft. Needs to deal with the TJ situation to put the cherry on top." "Oh great, #MikeTomlin & #OmarKhan together for at least 2 mores years to provide the @steelers with more mediocre .500 football & no playoff wins. #TheNewSteelersStandard #HereWeGo," from this fan. Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Omar Khan© Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images Khan has been aggressive in reshaping the team. This offseason, he made a notable trade with the Seattle Seahawks to acquire wide receiver DK Metcalf in exchange for a second-round pick. The Steelers also signed veteran additions Kenneth Gainwell and Darius Slay. Advertisement At quarterback, Aaron Rodgers will take the reins. The four-time MVP turns 42 in December but brings unmatched experience to Pittsburgh. In the 2025 NFL draft, Khan added Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon and Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson, who is expected to replace Najee Harris after his move to the Chargers. As the Steelers prepare for a high-stakes season, Khan's extension signals continuity at the top, even if fan opinions remain divided.
