Palestinian detainee suffers mobility impairment due to torture in Israeli enemy prison

Saba Yemen2 days ago
Ramallah – Saba:
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported on Wednesday that 19-year-old administrative detainee Mohammed Naseem Abu al-Ezz from Jericho, arrested last August, has lost his ability to move due to repeated severe torture and beatings in Israel's "Naqab Desert" prison.
According to a PPS statement, Abu al-Ezz's health rapidly deteriorated from continuous abuse, culminating in him being unable to meet his basic needs.
This necessitated his transfer to Soroka Hospital, where he underwent delicate back surgery. He was later moved to "Ramla Prison Clinic," and now suffers from mobility impairment in the lower half of his body.
The PPS emphasized that Abu al-Ezz had no prior health issues before his arrest, making him "a new victim of the systematic torture crimes" against prisoners in Israeli jails.
The PPS affirmed that torture has been the primary cause of death for dozens of detainees in Israeli prisons since the start of what it calls the "genocide crime."

Israeli Occupation Forces raid Al-Eizariya, Azzun in Occupied East Quds, Qalqilya

Quds – SABA: Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Al-Eizariya, southeast of occupied Quds, and Azzun, east of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank, on Thursday evening. The Jerusalem Governorate confirmed that Israeli forces stormed Al-Eizariya and raided the mourning tent of martyr Bassam Ibrahim Abu Sunaina, attacking mourners, confiscating car keys, and subjecting them to field interrogations. Abu Sunaina (52), an ex-prisoner exiled to Gaza since 2011, was martyred along with his child earlier Thursday in an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency 'WAFA.' In Azzun, local sources reported that Israeli forces entered through the town's main northern entrance, deployed in the central district (Post Office Street), and began raiding homes. Among the houses raided were those of Abdullah Radwan and Radwan Radwan, the latter of which was turned into a military post. Recently, Israeli forces have intensified the practice of converting Palestinian homes into military outposts in the West Bank. Residents are forcibly evicted, their property looted or destroyed, and entire neighborhoods declared closed military zones, in clear violation of international law, according to a report from the Palestinian Government Media Center. Eyewitness accounts indicate that soldiers often use these homes as sniper positions, field command centers, or interrogation sites, with entire residential buildings sometimes being converted into military bases. Palestinian civilians have documented being subjected to beatings, humiliation, and theft of personal belongings and money, while others report total destruction of their homes' contents. Palestinian Ahrar Movement: Actions of So-Called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation' Strip Away Its Humanitarian Mask

Gaza – SABA: The Palestinian Ahrar Movement stated Thursday evening that the so-called 'Gaza Humanitarian Foundation' is carrying out security and military roles that strip away any pretense of humanitarianism and expose its criminal actions to both the Palestinian people and the international community. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the movement declared: 'This malicious role turns the foundation into an enemy of the Palestinian people and their needs. Its leadership bears direct responsibility for the daily killing of hundreds of hungry Palestinians by turning food distribution centers into death traps, where the Israeli enemy carries out its Nazi rituals and genocidal war in Gaza.' The movement urged the steadfast Palestinian people to maintain national awareness and exercise caution when dealing with the foundation and its operatives, both inside and outside Gaza. It called on the public to isolate, reject, and disrupt the foundation's harmful schemes, which it said aim to impoverish the people, fracture social unity, and weaponize hunger to fuel violence and internal conflict.
