Calling all homes with carpets, there's a brand-new device that is going to game the game when it comes to keep your floors clean and free from pesky stains.

Tineco, the leading floorcare brand, has unveiled a one-of-a-kind Carpet One Cruiser that effortlessly tackles dirt, stains, and odors, and is surprisingly easy to use.
Thanks to the brands signature cleaning technologies, including one-button FlashDry Self-Cleaning and iLoop Smart Sensor Technology, this tech-savvy device is easy to manoeuve around the house across all kind of carpet textures, removing even the toughest of stains.
Designed for those with busy households, it even speeds up the drying process by 50 per cent after cleaning — yes you read that correctly.
Retailing for $999 at Harvey Norman stores (online and in store), it's a game-changer cleaning tool that is set to be a best-seller among families.
Using clever high temperature PowerDry technology, the Tineco Carpet One Cruiser extracts water and dries carpets, reducing the drying time by 50 per cent, so you can say goodbye to mould and mildrew.

Plus there's a range of included attachments for any hard-to-reach areas around the house.
Considering the investment? These are the biggest takeaways from the tech-savvy carpet cleaner:
Powerful Cleaning: Strong suction of up to 130W ensures deep carpet cleaning and effective extraction.
Effortless Use: Three levels of SmoothPower tech, and bidirectional assist wheels, making it easier to push and pull across various carpet types.
Efficient Drying: 75°C high-temperature PowerDry uses heated air to significantly accelerate the drying process, Preventing mould and mildew growth. Using the ultra-heated drying mode, the Carpet One Cruiser can reduce drying times by 50 per cent or more than traditional models.
Complete Self-Cleaning System: For hands-free maintenance, the FlashDry Technology is an automatic, two-minute self-cleaning cycle that flushes the brush, suction inlet, and roller cover.

‘More money out there than we think': Harvey Norman chair Gerry Harvey on EOFY sales splurge

Harvey Norman chair Gerry Harvey reckons shoppers have cast aside the cost of living crunch to snap up bargains during the end of financial year sales, saying 'there's more money out there than we think'. Australians are tipped to spend a whopping $10.5 billion during EOFY sales in June, despite the mid-year clearance discount season not often attracting the same level of hype as the Black Friday or Boxing Day promotional events later this year. Most retailers run their sales from early June to the end of the month, with some continuing through early July. For Mr Harvey, EOFY sales at his furniture, electronics and white goods business — which has hundreds of stores across Australia, Europe and Asia — had been 'much stronger than I would have anticipated'. 'There's a million more people in Australia now than there was two or three years ago and I think that there's more money out there circulating than we think,' Mr Harvey told The West Australian on Monday. 'There's been an awful lot of publicity on how tough things are but you've still got unemployment at a very low level. 'If you go to a restaurant at the moment, it's not uncommon to see them very full and you and I can go in there with two friends and we walk out spending $400 or $500 at least.' The Reserve Bank of Australia in May delivered the second rate cut this year in some much-needed financial relief for millions of cash-strapped mortgage holders. Some analysts are expecting three more cuts this year. 'People are a little more confident than they would have been had there not been those two interest rate drops,' Mr Harvey said, adding his artificial intelligence-led computers and devices have been popular during the EOFY sales. Robot vacuums are also in demand. Chloe Lennon was out shopping with friends Eolise Sheldrick and Issy Renough on their first day of school holidays. Cotton On, Universal Store, General Pants Co and Sephora were among the shops the 15-year-olds hit up on Monday. 'I'm going away to Italy soon so I needed to buy some t-shirts,' Ms Lennon said, adding there were 'lots of sales'. 'It wasn't too busy because I think people are still at school.' Karrinyup centre general manager Trudy Cook said it continued to receive strong demand for EOFY sales, with an increase in foot traffic at the centre compared with last year. 'Our shoppers are taking advantage of the major discounts on offer during our EOFY sales period to purchase premium items at significantly reduced prices,' she said. 'Our best-selling products during this year's sale include luggage, household appliances, tech and gaming consoles and home furnishings.'

In Australia, the financial year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 the following year. Before June 30, retailers offer massive discounts in order to clear out their old stock before the new financial year begins. Now known as the end of financial year sales, this is the time when we can take advantage of epic discounts on must-have items in home, audio, beauty, tech and more. WHEN ARE THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES IN 2025? Unlike other sale events, there's no official start date of the end of financial year sales. Typically most major retailers will kick off the savings around June 1, but this doesn't stop some from starting early or starting closer to June 30. HOW LONG DO THE END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES LAST? There's no set run time, and you'll find each retailer does things a little differently. Some will run the sale for the entire month of June, whereas others will pick just a few key days or a week to promote their EOFY sales. Generally speaking, all the sales will be over once June 30 rolls around.
