NEO Battery Materials Appoints Kenneth Hoffman, Distinguished Battery Industry Leader and Former McKinsey's Global Head of Battery Materials, as New Director
Mr. Hoffman is an internationally distinguished expert in battery materials with over 30 years of experience in investment management, energy, and metals and mining. Previously, Mr. Hoffman was the Global Head of Battery Materials at McKinsey & Company, where he advised on strategic planning, supply chain integration, and capital raising for clients across the global battery value chain. He has conducted more than 100 due diligences involving battery technologies and critical mineral assets and developed AI-enabled evaluation frameworks for leading industry stakeholders.
Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Hoffman served as the Global Head of Bloomberg Metals & Mining Research at Bloomberg and has held senior investment positions as a Portfolio Manager and Global Director of Research for prominent, large-AUM funds, including Millennium Partners and MarCap Investors.
As a member of NEO's Board of Directors, Mr. Hoffman will provide strategic support for industry partnerships, battery market expansion, and corporate development, reinforcing the Company's position as a leading battery materials innovator. Moreover, his extensive global network and expert understanding of the global battery and investment landscape will be instrumental in advancing NEO's commercialization of its silicon anode technology.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Hoffman is frequently invited as a keynote speaker at international forums and conferences, including PDAC, Saudi Arabia's Future Minerals Forum, Fastmarkets events, and London Metal Exchange conferences. He also serves as a Director of North America's largest battery industry event, The Battery Show, and is a special advisor to Pure Lithium, a Boston-based lithium metal battery technology company.

Subject to the terms of the stock option agreement, all Options were granted at an exercise price of $0.60 with an expiry date of April 25, 2025, in which 150,000 Options will vest immediately and the remainder in four (4) months from the date of grant.

Lotus Technology announces Etika exercised its put option
Lotus Technology (LOT) announced that Etika Automotive exercised its put option on June 30 requiring us to purchase 49% of the equity interests in Lotus Advance Technologies held by Etika pursuant to the Put Option Agreement dated January 31, 2023 between the parties. Lotus UK is currently owned by Geely International and Etika. As announced on April 14 Geely HK exercised a similar put option granted to it by the Company. With Etika having exercised its put option, the Company is expected to acquire 100% of the equity interests of Lotus UK through non-cash transactions based on pre-agreed prices. Upon completion, the Company will gain control over Lotus UK and consolidate its financial results. Lotus UK controls the manufacturing operations of Lotus' sportscars and hyper cars, and Lotus Engineering which provides comprehensive consultancy services to many of the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers around the world. The acquisition is expected to be completed by 2025. In conjunction with the business combination between the Company and L Catterton Asia Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company affiliated with L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused investment firm, the Company and Lotus UK entered into a Put Option Agreement with each of Geely HK and Etika. Pursuant to these agreements, each of Geely HK and Etika was granted the right to require the Company to acquire its equity interest in Lotus UK at a pre-agreed pricing method1 and upon satisfaction of the condition that the total number of vehicles sold by Lotus UK and its subsidiaries shall exceed 5,000 in 2024, with the exercise of such options by Geely HK and Etika not cross-conditioned on one another. AeroVironment, Inc. Announces Pricing of Upsized Offerings of Common Stock And 0% Convertible Senior Notes Due 2030
ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) (the 'Company') today announced the pricing of its upsized underwritten public offering of 3,528,226 shares of its common stock (the 'Common Stock') at a public offering price of $248.00 per share (such offering, the 'Common Stock Offering'), and its upsized underwritten public offering of $650,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its 0% convertible senior notes due 2030 (the 'Convertible Notes' and such offering, the 'Convertible Notes Offering'). The aggregate net proceeds to the Company from the Common Stock Offering and the Convertible Notes Offering, after deducting underwriting discounts and other estimated offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $1.47 billion. The Company expects to use approximately $965.3 million of the net proceeds from the Common Stock Offering and the Convertible Notes Offering to repay indebtedness under its term loan and outstanding borrowings under its revolving credit facility, and the remainder for general corporate purposes, including to increase manufacturing capacity. The Company has granted the underwriters of the offerings a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 529,234 shares of Common Stock at the public offering price less the underwriting discount in the Common Stock Offering and a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $97,500,000 aggregate principal amount of Convertible Notes solely to cover over-allotments, if any, in the Convertible Notes Offering. Tutor Perini Building Corp. Awarded $220 Million Eagle Mountain Casino Phase 2 Expansion
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC) (the 'Company'), a leading civil, building and specialty construction company, announced today that its subsidiary, Tutor Perini Building Corp., has been awarded a contract by the Tule River Gaming Authority valued at approximately $220 million for the Eagle Mountain Casino Phase 2 Expansion. The project is located in Porterville, California. The scope of work includes construction of a new 193-room tower with a rooftop restaurant, a central warehouse and offices, expansion of an existing restaurant, a new 2,000-seat events center with convention space, breakout meeting rooms, pre-function space, and new hotel amenities, including a new spa, arcade and resort pool. Work is expected to commence in the summer of 2025 with substantial completion anticipated in 2027.
