Nothing Phone (3), Headphone (1) set to launch on July 1: What we know so far

Nothing is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated Phone (3), which the company is positioning as its first 'true flagship' smartphone, at a major launch event in London, United Kingdom on Tuesday, July 1. Alongside the Nothing Phone (3), the British tech startup is also expected to introduce its first over-ear headphones called Headphone (1). There have been several leaks and rumours swirling about the design of the Nothing Phone (3) as well as the Headphone (1) in the run-up to the event. While customers do not have to wait long to see if these leaks and rumours are true, here's what we know so far about the Nothing Phone (3) and Headphone (1). In a video on the Android Show channel on YouTube, Nothing CEO Carl Pei announced that the Phone (3) will be priced around 800 pounds, which currently translates to $1,063 or Rs 90,500, taking into consideration the current exchange rate. This is almost double the price of the Phone (2), Nothing's most expensive smartphone to date. Pei also said that the phone would be designed out of 'premium materials' and will come up with major performance as well as software upgrades that will 'level things up'. The company has also confirmed that the incoming flagship will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It will also boast a 50-megapixel primary camera that has been 'built for creators'. — Nothing (@nothing) June 26, 2025 A few days ago, the company's official handle on X posted a series of images that appear to have been captured using the Phone (3) with impressive zoom capabilities. The Phone (3) will also boast a Glyph matrix on the top-right corner of the smartphone. Coming to the design, a leaked image revealed that the Phone (3) has a translucent back and three center-aligned cameras. However, a newer image posted by Android Headlines shows an entirely different design with a separation between the three cameras. When light becomes language. Introducing the Glyph Matrix. Phone (3). 1 July. — Nothing (@nothing) June 19, 2025 The renderings show two cameras lined up next to each other and another that's in the corner of the phone and not really aligned with anything else. While the design renderings have not been confirmed by Nothing, it would be a bold camera layout if the leaks turn out to be true. Nothing has also announced that the Phone (3) will receive software support for a minimum of seven years, with five years of full Android OS updates and another two years of security patches only. With Android 16 having been released earlier this month, the Nothing Phone (3) is likely to run on the latest version of Android out of the box. In terms of India pricing, the Phone (3) is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 given the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset under the hood and premium flagship experience. It has also been rumoured that the Phone (3) will have a dedicated button that offers quick access to AI features, similar to the Nothing Phone (3a) series. But this will probably be confirmed only at the launch on July 1. Last month, Nothing posted a video in which it announced that it would be launching over-ear headphones for the first time in summer 2025. There has not been much else teased about the Nothing Headphone (1), except that Tom Ridley, one of the company's designers, said that they are looking to make 'a more interesting looking pair of headphones that say something about you.' Adam Bates, Nothing's global design director, also suggested that its buttons will feature distinct designs for each control function. Based on leaked photos and videos, the Headphone (1) sports a squircle earcup with Nothing's signature transparent elements and support for what appears to be a 3.5mm audio cable. In another set of unverified, leaked images shared on Instagram, the earcups for the Headphone (1) seem to resemble quirky cassette tapes. It show the headphones in black or silver colourways, with 'Nothing Headphone 1' and 'Sound by KEF' branding printed on either earcup.

Nothing Headphone 1 leak suggests 80 hours of battery life and 40mm drivers

After teasing its entry into the over-ear audio market earlier this year, Nothing is all set to unveil its first-ever headphones — the Nothing Headphone 1 — at its July 1 event in London, where the company will also officially reveal the Nothing Phone (3). But thanks to a fresh leak via Android Headlines and tipster Yogesh Brar, we now have an early look at what's shaping up to be a bold new addition to Nothing's growing product Headphone 1 leaksAccording to the leak, the Nothing Headphone 1 is expected to weigh in at 329g — noticeably heavier than Sony's WH-1000XM6 (at 252g) but lighter than Apple's AirPods Max (384g). Nothing appears to be aiming squarely at the premium end of the audio market, even claiming these headphones will outperform the AirPods Max — a lofty benchmark in the world of high-end wireless cans. Credit: X At the heart of the Headphone 1 are custom-tuned 40mm drivers, delivering the core sound signature, as per the rumours. But what's particularly intriguing is Nothing's partnership with British audio specialist KEF. Known for its high-fidelity speakers and innovative audio technologies, KEF brings serious audiophile credibility to the table. Additionally, the leak also points to the battery life of the upcoming audio device. Users can expect up to 80 hours of playback with ANC (active noise cancellation) switched off, and around 35 hours with ANC turned on, when using the AAC codec. For those opting for higher-resolution LDAC streaming, that translates to 54 hours with ANC off and around 30 hours with it on. Those numbers put the Headphone 1 in competitive territory, particularly for long-haul travellers and heavy Beyond sound and stamina, Nothing hasn't skimped on smart features either. The Headphone 1 will support Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, alongside dual-device connectivity, wear detection, low-latency mode for gaming, LED charging indicators, a personal sound profile, and even 'Find My Device' support. It's clear the brand has tried to pack in as much functionality as possible — a move that feels refreshingly un-ironic given Nothing's usually minimalist no official pricing has been revealed just yet, the feature list and performance promises suggest that the Headphones 1 will sit comfortably in the premium tier. Still, if Nothing's past pricing strategy is anything to go by, we might see them undercut Apple and Sony's flagship offerings ever so slightly. The speculation is that the Nothing Headphone 1 may be priced below Rs 20,000. Nothing Headphone 1: DesignNothing has confirmed that its first-ever headphones, the Nothing Headphone 1, will debut on July 1. It will be accompanied by Nothing Phone 3. Ahead of the launch, previous leaks have also pointed out the unique design it will bring. True to Nothing's design language, the headphones incorporate transparency, though this time with a more restrained approach. Unlike the brand's earlier products, the see-through elements don't expose much of the internal hardware. It's a subtle nod to the company's signature style, rather than a full-on exhibition of inner workings. Perhaps the most striking visual element is the shape of the earcups — neither oval nor circular, but boldly rectangular. It's a design choice that immediately sets the Headphone 1 apart from almost everything else in the premium audio are also three visible physical buttons: two tucked away on the side and one placed prominently on the outer face of the earcup. The layout retains the minimalist appeal that Nothing is known for, though purists might argue it edges slightly away from true the Nothing Headphone 1 design delivers exactly what you'd expect from the brand. The full reveal is expected at the July 1 launch event, where Nothing will also lift the lid on the Phone (3). - EndsTune In
