
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Becomes India's Fastest SUV To Cross 1 Lakh Export Milestone
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in India in April 2023. By FY 2024-25, the brand had exported over 69,000 units of the Fronx, making it the country's most exported passenger vehicle during that period. Along with the Fronx, the list of best-performing export vehicles for the brand included Jimny, Baleno, Swift, and Dzire. During the period, the company also recorded its highest-ever annual export volume of over 3.3 lakh units, a 17.5 per cent increase over the previous fiscal.

Speaking on the milestone, Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "Maruti Suzuki's capability to manufacture world-class vehicles for global markets exemplifies the true essence of 'Make in India' initiative. Our renewed focus on international markets has been instrumental in Maruti Suzuki's continued leadership in passenger vehicle exports. Fronx is delighting customers all over the world. Besides clocking the fastest 1 lakh exports, Fronx was also India's number 1 exported passenger vehicle in FY 2024-25."
Maruti Suzuki has been the top exporter of passenger vehicles from India for four straight financial years. In the first quarter of FY 2025-26, the company exported over 96,000 vehicles, achieving a record 47 per cent share of the total passenger vehicle exports from India. Currently, Maruti Suzuki exports 17 different models to nearly 100 markets, with South Africa, Japan, and Saudi Arabia ranking among the primary destinations for these exports.

Sri Lotus Developers IPO: Real estate development firm, Sri Lotus Developers Limited's initial public offering (IPO) is set to open this week on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, as the company aims to raise ₹ 792 crore from the Indian stock markets. The Mumbai-based real estate firm focuses on both residential and commercial properties, particularly in the ultra-luxury and luxury segments within the city's western suburbs. According to Mint's earlier report, the realty firm had successfully developed a cumulative area of 0.93 million square feet, comprising both residential and commercial properties, as of 30 June 2025. Bollywood icons such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and prominent investor Ashish Kacholia are backing the company as investors. As of Sunday, 27 July 2025, the grey market premium (GMP) of Sri Lotus Developers IPO stood at ₹ 32 per share. With the upper price band for the public issue at ₹ 150, the stocks are expected to be listed at ₹ 182, including a premium of 21.33%, according to Investorgain data. Grey market premium (GMP) is an investor's willingness to pay more for a public issue. The GMP has remained flat at its current levels for the last two days, dropping to ₹ 32 on Friday, 25 July 2025, compared to ₹ 34 on Thursday last week. Sri Lotus Developers IPO is offering an entire book-built issue of fresh equity shares with a face value of ₹ 1 apiece, amounting to a total of ₹ 792 crore, according to the data collected from the official draft papers. Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets six airbags as standard with increased price: Details
Maruti Suzuki India recently updated the Maruti Suzuki XL6, Baleno, and the Ertiga with six airbags as standard. And now, the company has updated the Fronx compact SUV with six airbags as standard throughout the lineup, leading to a 0.5% increase in ex-showroom prices starting July 25, 2025.
