'An Evening of Radiohead' is an absolute must-see for any fan
So when I discovered there was a tribute show being held at Manchester Cathedral on my 30th birthday, I just knew I couldn't miss out on the opportunity.
Hosted by Let Me In, the incredible performance took place during the event provider's UK Cathedral and Minster tour following a sold-out run in 2024.

And the setting couldn't have been dreamier – Manchester Cathedral providing a stunning backdrop for the journey through Radiohead's 30-year catalogue.
The show brought together a full live band complete with vocalists and the nationally renowned Mike Nowland String Quartet.
The night was a spectacular celebration of Radiohead's incredible work, spanning hits and lesser-known gems from albums like OK Computer, In Rainbows and The Bends.
And though I initially had doubts over seeing a cover band, I must say I was absolutely blown away by the event. Having been desperate to see Radiohead live since the age of 15, it genuinely felt as close as I could possibly get to the real deal.
Every song was delivered with such passion, showcasing the band's ability to navigate melancholic rock anthems to more experimental pieces - capturing Thom Yorke's distinctive voice with impressive accuracy.
Under the direction of Christopher Buckle, the band – featuring talented local musicians like Alfie Woods, Bruce Higgs, Daniel Anketell, Josh Semans, Lydia Karaviotis and musical director Ewan Steady – created a powerful and emotional performance.
But it was the addition of the exceptional string quartet – Mike Nowland, Mathias Svensson, Caroline Boddimead and Hannah Paterson – that brought a truly magical depth to the event.
If you're a huge Radiohead fan like me, An Evening of Radiohead really is a must-see. The night was a perfect mix of nostalgia and fresh interpretations of the band's music and a truly unforgettable experience in a breathtaking venue.

Sabrina Carpenter's New Single Soars To New Peaks At Radio
Sabrina Carpenter's 'Manchild' rises on three of Billboard's radio charts, reaching No. 15 on the ... More Radio Songs list and earning the singer her fifth Adult Pop Airplay top 10. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 02: Sabrina Carpenter performs onstage during the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards at Arena on February 02, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor The Recording Academy) Sabrina Carpenter scored one of the biggest breakouts of 2024 with her Short n' Sweet full-length. The album produced some of the most infectious pop tunes in recent memory, including "Espresso," "Taste," and "Please Please Please," and it finally turned the singer-songwriter — who had spent years releasing music, just waiting to pop — into a household name and a Grammy winner. Carpenter isn't putting her foot on the brake or coasting on her success. Her next album, Man's Best Friend, is expected to drop in just over a month, and the superstar recently released "Manchild," the lead single from the upcoming project. Even as the tune begins to decline slightly on a number of Billboard charts, radio has come to the rescue, ensuring that "Manchild" continues to rise on at least a few tallies. "Manchild" Climbs the Radio Charts At the moment, "Manchild" appears on half a dozen U.S.-based Billboard rankings. It declines on three of them and rises on the three. Not coincidentally, the trio of tallies where Carpenter's latest track is on the rise are all radio rosters, as it seems there is strong interest in keeping Carpenter's voice on the airwaves. "Manchild" hits a new peak on the Radio Songs tally, where it jumps to No. 15. Carpenter also pushes the track to never-before-seen highs on two of Billboard's three pop radio lists. It lifts one space to No. 5 on the Pop Airplay ranking and breaks into the top 10 for the first time on the Adult Pop Airplay roster, climbing from No. 11 to No. 9. Sabrina Carpenter Lands Fifth Adult Pop Airplay Top 10 Carpenter scores her fifth career top 10 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart as "Manchild" reaches No. 9. In doing so, the song ties the peak position of "Please Please Please." Three other tunes — "Espresso," "Feather," and "Taste" — climbed higher, with the former spending several turns at No. 1, while the others stalled at Nos. 4 and 7, respectively. Sales and Streams are Falling Radio is certainly doing its part, as streams and sales of "Manchild" are declining — though that's not unexpected for a pop track that's been out for more than a month. This time around, the cut suffers its steepest dip on the Streaming Songs tally, falling from No. 9 to No. 21. It also lands in the same position on the Adult Contemporary Airplay roster, the third of Billboard's pop radio charts. "Manchild" slips to No. 13 on the Hot 100, though it may rebound in the coming frames, especially as Carpenter ramps up promotion for Man's Best Friend.

Benson Boone Joins Dua Lipa In A Historic Feat
Benson Boone's 'Beautiful Things' ties Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' with 77 weeks on the Hot 100, as ... More Teddy Swims' 'Lose Control' becomes the first track to hit 100 weeks. (Photo by Nina Westervelt/Billboard via Getty Images) A month into its run on the Billboard charts, Benson Boone's sophomore album American Heart continues its gentle descent. In its fourth frame on the Billboard 200, the project slides from No. 21 to No. 27. Two singles from the full-length — 'Mystical Magical' and 'Sorry, I'm Here for Someone Else' — also experience modest dips on the Hot 100, though both remain inside the top 40. Boone's biggest hit at the moment, is, as has been the case for months, 'Beautiful Things.' The track that turned the singer into a superstar in early 2024 continues to make history with every frame it holds on. 'Beautiful Things' Ties Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' 'Beautiful Things' has now lived on the Hot 100 for 77 frames. In just one more week, it will become one of only a handful of songs to spend a year and a half on Billboard's ranking of the most popular tracks in the United States. 'Beautiful Things' is now tied with 'Levitating' by Dua Lipa as the third-longest-charting track by a solo musician in American history. Lipa's catchy pop cut spent about half of its time on the tally as a solo effort, while the rest of its weeks included rapper DaBaby. His credit was later removed after fans and radio stations changed their favor to the solo version. Teddy Swims Sets a New Record With 'Lose Control' 'Lose Control' by Teddy Swims still stands the longest-running hit of all time, and this week marks a particularly special milestone for the soulful cut. The Grammy nominee's breakout hit becomes the first song ever to reach 100 weeks on the Hot 100. That figure puts the track well ahead of every other tune, and it's likely to continue building on that total. The Weeknd's 'Blinding Lights' tallied 90 stays on the roster, placing it in second among all compositions by solo artists. Benson Boone Passes Jason Mraz Last frame, Boone matched Jason Mraz, whose single 'I'm Yours' spent 76 weeks on the Hot 100 between 2008 and 2009. That tune now ranks as the fifth-longest-charting track by a solo act in U.S. history, just behind Boone and Lipa. Several other songs credited to groups have also managed slightly longer stays on the Hot 100 compared to 'Beautiful Things.' 'Heat Waves' by Glass Animals, 'Radioactive' by Imagine Dragons, and 'Sail' by Awolnation held on for 91, 87, and 79 weeks, respectively. In the coming weeks, Boone could match and then pass Awolnation, though he still has a long journey ahead if he hopes to best the runs managed by Imagine Dragons or The Weeknd.
