UAE ship arrives with 2,500 tonnes of aid for Gaza
A UAE humanitarian aid ship carrying a range of relief materials has arrived to support the people of Gaza, ahead of transferring its cargo into the Strip, as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 launched by the United Arab Emirates to provide urgent humanitarian relief to Gaza residents. This initiative comes in response to the critical needs and tragic circumstances faced by the people of Gaza, as hundreds of thousands of displaced and affected families endure worsening hardship, with severe shortages of food, water and medicine, and a collapse in basic living conditions. The vessel, which docked at Ashdod Port, carries 2,500 tonnes of various aid items, including food parcels and children's packages containing essential goods such as flour, dates, milk and tea. These supplies aim to support the population, alleviate their suffering and help them withstand the harsh conditions and famine threatening their lives. The UAE continues to deliver aid by all available means, in coordination with its humanitarian and charitable institutions, in a reflection of the nation's solidarity and its enduring commitment to humanitarian causes. It reinforces the UAE's consistent approach in standing with the Palestinian people under all circumstances. Since the launch of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 on 5th November 2023, the UAE has dispatched several aid ships to Gaza in support of Palestinian families and to address their humanitarian needs.

UNRWA: So-Called "Gaza Humanitarian Facility" system not designed to combat hunger
Gaza – Saba: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Facility" is an ineffective system not designed to address hunger in the Gaza Strip, which is facing a genocide committed by the Israeli enemy army since October 7, 2023. The "Sind" news agency quoted the director of UNRWA's media office in Gaza on Thursday, saying that the "facility" operates through only 4 centers, compared to the 400 centers previously run by the UN. She confirmed that the fuel shortage is severely impacting humanitarian services in Gaza, noting that 113 children are diagnosed with malnutrition daily. With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued its genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 57,130 Palestinian civilians, mostly women , children, and injuring 135,173 others—figures that are not final, as thousands remain trapped under rubble or in streets inaccessible to rescue teams. The Israeli army deliberately targets Palestinian civilians waiting for or heading to receive humanitarian aid, a daily occurrence across Gaza. Since the start of the so-called "American-Israeli Gaza Humanitarian Facility" on May 27, 652 martyrs and thousands of wounded have been reported, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
