
Talks on national plan for women's advancement
The meeting highlighted the Council's commitment to national partnership in advancing women's development, in line with the long-term strategy launched in 2005 under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with oversight by the Supreme Council for Women led by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Council.
It marked the beginning of a series of similar sessions the Council plans to hold with other national partners involved in implementing the plan, including institutions from the private sector and civil society. SCW Secretary- General Lulwa Al Awadhi outlined the structure and priorities of the new plan, which brings together initiatives that remain pending from previous phases, alongside programmes aligned with the current Government Action Plan.

The delegation presented the minister with a copy of the association's latest bilingual publication, In the Hospitality of the King of Peace, recently released in Arabic and English. The association shared details of its work with expatriate communities, its presence at national and religious events, and its cooperation with both official and grassroots bodies to promote peaceful coexistence. The meeting with 'Taa'ayosh' included a presentation on the organisation's history, mission, and evolving role.

HM King Hamad Reviews National Progress and Strengthens International Ties

During his meetings with President Donald Trump and senior U.S. officials, several agreements and cooperation declarations were signed. These achievements will boost the long-standing historic partnership between Bahrain and the United States, enhancing collaboration and joint efforts to new levels of growth and development. His Majesty also welcomed the recent signing of a trilateral agreement that includes the United Kingdom joining the Comprehensive Security and Prosperity Integration Agreement (C-SIPA). Bahrain-Russia Relations Strengthened Through Parliamentary Cooperation, Says HM King Hamad
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa warmly received His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, today at Al-Sakhir Palace. The meeting came after the successful official visit led by the Chairman and a delegation of Shura Council members to the friendly Russian Federation. During the meeting, King Hamad emphasized the deep and historic friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Russia. He highlighted the shared commitment to continuously strengthen bilateral relations across various fields, especially in legislative and parliamentary cooperation. The King also praised President Vladimir Putin's role in supporting and developing these growing ties.
