Bravo flagship Real Housewives of New York City going off the air
The show, which premiered in 2008, has consistently been one of the most beloved, prestigious and buzzed-about in the reality giant's schedule, and it has launched the careers of Bravo A-listers like Bethenny Frankel, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon.
Only the original Housewives show, The Real Housewives of Orange County, has been around longer.
Now Page Six is told that the network has decided to take RHONY off the air, with 'hopes' to reconfigure it.
But it doesn't seem as if there's any great expectation that it'll be back any time soon.
'We're trying to figure that show out,' said an insider.
'We want to figure it out. We think there's still life in it.'
But they warned that other shows have sat on ice for years before being revived — such as The Real Housewives of Miami, which was cancelled in 2013 and didn't return until 2021.
An insider said that execs do expect RHONY to return at some point and in some form, but certainly not with all of its current cast.
In 2021, Housewives honcho Andy Cohen and other brass took to bold and unprecedented decision to 'split' the show in two, airing a gut-renovated version of the 'main' show as The Real Housewives of New York City, and a second show that was to be called The Real Housewives of New York City: Legacy and would feature the 'original' cast including de Lesseps, Morgan, Bensimon and Zarin, among others.
It is now safe to say that plan did not work, since both halves have gone off their air within four years.
As Page Six reported at the time, the Legacy edition fell apart during contract negotiations. It eventually aired as a one-off special edition of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip series.
Then the 'main' show, recast with J.Crew savant Jenna Lyons, Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield, premiered in 2023.
It immediately faced a crisis after cast members allegedly used racial slurs on set (something an irony since part of the reason for the dissolution of the original series was a human resources complaint about the very same slur).
Since then, it has faced fluctuating ratings and cast members who refuse to shoot with each other because of on-set feuds that have spun out of control.
Another original Housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, was paused in May 2023 over feuding co-stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. The show eventually continued, but was ultimately put on ice as execs worked on a plan for a reboot.
Meanwhile, we're told that attempts to overhaul the New York cast have stumbled because many Big Apple women don't want to be involved.
'At this point they seen peoples marriages ruined, their kids lives ruined, their businesses ruined,' said an insider. 'It's just not a very desirable thing to sign up for.'
A Bravo spokesperson said: 'Nothing is official. The show hasn't been cancelled.'

Jessica Alba spotted passionately kissing new boyfriend Danny Ramirez outside his LA home
Jessica Alba was spotted heavily packing on the PDA with her new boyfriend, Danny Ramirez, following her split from Cash Warren. The couple looked cozy as they passionately kissed upon the Fantastic Four actress's arrival at the actor's Los Angeles home over the weekend. Alba looked comfortable, wearing grey sweatpants, a black oversized jacket and a baseball cap for the outing. Ramirez, meanwhile, sported a black graphic T-shirt and grey sweatpants. The actress appeared to have gifted her beau a massive orchard, as he was seen carrying it from her car. Alba, 44, and Ramirez, 32, sparked romance rumours in May when they were photographed kissing during a low-key outing to Regent's Park in London. At the time, she was seen walking in front of the L ast of Us star, whose identity was unknown, as he tenderly rested his arm on her shoulder. 'They were hugging and holding hands as they walked through the park together,' a spy told the Sun. 'They rented out some deck chairs and they were sitting on them kissing.' In July, TMZ identified Ramirez in photos of him and Alba heading from Los Angeles to Cancún, Mexico. The Top Gun: Maverick star and the Honest Beauty co-founder were photographed making their way through the airport while wearing hats. Despite their getaway, an insider told the Daily Mail they were 'not exclusive' and Alba was 'not in that frame of mind.' 'Danny is cool, a nice guy, and he is enamoured with her,' the source claimed. Ramirez and Alba, however, looked smitten while leaving an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles last Wednesday night. The Sin City star announced that she and her estranged husband, Warren, 46, were splitting after nearly 17 years of marriage in January 2025. She and her ex share three children: daughters Honor and Haven and son Hayes.

Beyonce reunites Destiny's Child for final Cowboy Carter tour stop
Crowds were jumpin' jumpin' in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium after Beyonce surprised thousands of fans by briefly reuniting Destiny's Child. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyoncé onstage Saturday night during the final show of the Cowboy Carter tour, their first performance together in seven years. The women walked out together, clad in gold, while singing Lose My Breath. The trio performed a brief medley that included smash single Bootylicious and one of Beyonce's own songs, Energy. It was a rare reunion for the group, which disbanded in 2006 to pursue solo careers. The last time they were onstage together was in 2018 for Beyonce's headlining set at Coachella. Beyonce posted a photo of the women on her Instagram without a caption. The comment section was filled with love for the '90s group and the women's relationship after all these years. 'This is everything,' one comment said. 'Pure friendship, sisterhood and allowing us to share that with you all is truly incredible.' The surprise performance excited both fans in the stadium and those on the internet. Some expressed disbelief over what they just witnessed and others outrage that they weren't there to see it for themselves. 'There are people who can say they've seen Destiny's Child live in 2025 and I'm not one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,' one X user wrote. Even celebrities were excited about the surprise act. Bravo host Andy Cohen posted early Sunday that 'the Destiny's Child reunion videos are making my morning.' Blue Ivy, the eldest daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, took the stage right after the trio exited together. The 13-year-old has been dancing onstage for her mother's show all tour. Many saw symbolism in her entrance just after Destiny's Child left the stage. Some on social media referred to the teen as the 'child of destiny.' 'Destiny's child passing the torch to Blue Ivy,' one person wrote. 'A historic moment.'

Donald Trump claims Beyonce, Oprah broke law in Harris endorsement deal
Beyonce. Oprah Winfrey. Kamala Harris. US President Donald Trump has taken aim at the trio of influential women, saying they 'should be prosecuted' during a stunning late-night rant. Mr Trump took to Truth Social to unleash in a major way, posting the rant at 7.45pm Scotland time, where he is currently on a weekend golfing trip. Mr Trump alleged that Beyonce never sang despite being paid USD$11 (AUD$16) million to endorse Mrs Harris before her speech at a campaign rally in Houston, Texas. Mr Trump also highlighted amounts allegedly paid to talk show host Oprah and TV personality Reverend Al Sharpton. He also said the large amount of money spent by his Democratic opponents during the 2024 election will be reviewed, and that payment was 'probably illegally' made. 'I'm looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election, and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for 'expenses', to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV 'anchor', Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others to be named for doing, absolutely nothing!', Mr Trump posted on Truth Social. 'These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. 'Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW.' He continued: 'They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter.' However, there's no evidence that those named in Mr Trump's post received payment for their endorsement by the Democratic campaign. Oprah previously said she 'was not paid a dime' for the appearance, however 'the people who worked on that production needed to be paid. And were. End of story'. The Harris campaign has also denied making any endorsement payment for Beyonce. Mr Trump has made similar allegations previously. In December, he wrote that 'Beyoncé didn't sing, Oprah didn't do much of anything (she called it 'expenses') and Al is just a third-rate conman'. He's also no stranger to using legal threats. Beyonce and Oprah aren't the only celebrities Mr Trump has criticised. Earlier this week, he addressed CBS' shocking decision to cancel The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, seemingly suggesting that other late night hosts should get a similar treatment. Of particular focus was his longtime critic, Jimmy Kimmel. 'I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings,' Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. 'I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!' Mr Kimmel and Mr Trump have reportedly been feuding for years. When Mr Trump won the presidency in 2024, Mr Kimmel called it a 'terrible night' for democracy and announced he was on Trump's 'list of enemies'.
