Social media sensation Uorfi Javed, famous for her bold and unapologetic fashion choices, is once again making waves online. An old video of The Traitors winner recently surfaced online, showing her confidently defending her outfit against a man's criticism at the airport. The video also caught Priyanka Chopra's attention, known for her unabashed take on feminism and gender equality.
The clip, originally from 2023, had Uorfi at the Mumbai airport wearing a green backless dress. As she walked out of the airport gate, a man confronted her about her attire. In the video, he is heard saying, ' Allowed nahi hai aisa kapda India mein. India ka naam kharaab kar rahe ho (These kinds of clothes are not allowed in India. You are tarnishing the country's name)."
To this, Uorfi firmly replied: ' Aapke baap ka kuch jaa raha hai kya? Nahi jaa raha hai na aapke baap ka? Jao apna kaam karo (Is it costing your father anything? No, right? So go mind your own business)." When the man persisted, she snapped back saying, ' Teri beti hun? Ja na apna kaam kar (Am I your daughter? Go mind your own business)."
The video has been widely shared once more, with many applauding Uorfi for her fearless response and confidence in her fashion choices. On Instagram, one account sharing the clip even got a like from actor Priyanka Chopra. Watch the video here:

Uorfi Javed was one of the first ones to be voted out of Bigg Boss OTT. The actor-model took the popularity in her stride and became a pap sensation for her outfits. However, it came with brickbats since she was often brutally trolled. 'Maybe what they say is right- maybe I am not good enough to be a woman, maybe I am a stain on society, maybe I am a bad example for the younger generation. In the language of trolls, as they say it, maybe I am a s**t. I can't quit and even if I do, what's happened is always there on the internet. Kya mai itni buri hoon? (Am I so bad?) Maybe no one will accept me, no family will accept me," she once told Ranveer Allahabadia during his podcast.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Arjun Reddy remains Vijay Deverakonda's defining film—he played a self-destructive, hot-headed alcoholic surgeon who managed to strike a chord with audiences. While the role launched him into stardom, it also haunted him with expectations. In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter India, Vijay opened up about his relationship with the movie—and how he finally stopped trying to fight its shadow. Recalling a visit to a friend's house where guests excitedly asked to meet him because of Arjun Reddy, he said, 'It's a good thing. I used to fight it for the longest time because I was under the impression that I had to do something better to surpass it, and I wanted people to forget Arjun Reddy. But recently, I came to terms with the fact that it's a film that will always be loved, and maybe the goal is not to do work that makes people forget it." He compared his situation to Leonardo DiCaprio's connection to Titanic, noting that even as an actor evolves, their iconic roles stay with them. 'Like, I will always remember Leonardo DiCaprio's Titanic, but that doesn't mean he cannot or will not do other good work. But he will always be attached to it.
