Disney World fans left emotional over latest addition to theme park: 'Can't wait'

Daily Mail5 hours ago
Disney World has shared the star-studded lineup of musicians set to perform at the theme park over the next few months - and fans were left emotional after noticing one particular band on the roster.
Disney announced earlier this week that The Beach Boys would be taking to the stage as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series during the 2025 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, more than six decades after the rock group was first formed.
The festival takes place from August to November and sees a bunch of special food and drink offerings around the park, as well as a series of dazzling musical performances.
The Beach Boys will close out the event, and are set to perform on November 16 and 17 at the America Gardens Theatre in EPCOT.
Other stars on the roster includes a slew of new performers like KT Tunstall, Bowling for Soup, Ben Rector, The Wanted 2.0, and Jordin Sparks, as well as some returnees like *NSYNC alum Joey Fatone, Smash Mouth, Hanson, The Fray, STARSHIP, Hoobastank, and David Archuleta.
The Beach Boys became an iconic and legendary rock band following their rise to fame in the 1960s.
The band was founded by brothers Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, along with their cousin Mike Love, and friend Al Jardine.
Unfortunately, all three brothers have since died, so the performance at Disney's Epcot will likely be put on by Mike and Al.
The news that The Beach Boys would be performing sparked a fierce reaction online, as hoards of fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their excitement.
'The Beach Boys. Can't wait. RIP Brian,' one user wrote.
Another responded to the announcement: 'The Beach Boys... nice.'
'LET'S GO,' gushed another excited person.
'May need to [buy the] dining package for The Beach Boys,' read a fourth tweet.
'Jordin Sparks!!!! Bowling For Soup!!! And The Beach Boys!???? They ate with this lineup!!!' a fifth said.
The main event is located at the America Gardens Theatre stage in EPCOT, between Italy and Japan, per Disney Parks Blog.
During a free performance, seating is first-come, first-served, and it fills up quickly.
The outlet recommends planning ahead to make sure you have a comfortable spot to enjoy the music.
Those who want to ensure they have a good spot can purchase the Concert Series Dining Packages, which offers a 'delicious meal and guaranteed seats to an Eat to the Beat concert.'
It ranges in price depending on what restaurant you choose from $50 to $99.
It includes 'an entrée and dessert, or one full buffet (where applicable) - as well as a nonalcoholic or alcoholic beverage' at 'most participating restaurants' as well as 'one guaranteed seat per person' at the concert.
However, the packages are only available from Fridays through Mondays and vary in price based on the restaurant, per Walt Disney World.

January Jones, 47, leaves little to the imagination as she shows off her jaw-dropping figure in nude underwear

January Jones left little to the imagination in nude underwear as she posed for a daring mirror selfie on Instagram on Monday. The American actress, 47, showed off her jaw-dropping figure in the ribbed bralette and matching high-rise bottoms as she shared the snap with her 1.1million followers. Leaving her blonde tresses loose, January threw her arm into the air as she posed up a storm in a large bathroom. The Mad Men actress wrote: 'Knees are weak, sleep is sweaty, attitude petty… never let my strength leave me.' It comes after January made a rare public appearance with her 13-year-old son, Xander Dane Jones as they stepped out on the red carpet in Southern California last week. She was seen in Laguna Beach, California with her teenage son at Oceana's 18th Annual SeaChange Summer Party. The Mad Men actress wrote: 'Knees are weak, sleep is sweaty, attitude petty… never let my strength leave me.' The Sioux Falls, South Dakota-born actress looked stunning in a black midi dress which she teamed with black heels. The Emmy-nominated star, who played Betty Draper on Mad Men, accessorized with gold hoop earrings and a black headband at the environmental fundraiser. Her son Xander wore a summery ensemble of an off-white button-down top with off white pants and black Adidas sneakers. The God Is a Bullet has not publicly stated who Xander's father is, telling The New York Times in 2013, 'That's my son's business. It's not the public's business.' January told the publication Red in September of 2017 that Xander has a number of strong male role models in his life. 'Xander has a lot of bro time with the neighbor dads and my dad, who is super young,' she explained. The star continued: 'It's good to have strong women around a man to teach him to respect women. 'He doesn't have a male person saying, 'Don't cry' or 'You throw like a girl.' All those s****y things that dads accidentally do.' The Last Man on Earth actress - who formerly dated actor Ashton Kutcher - said at the time she felt zero pressure to provide a stepdad for her son. She told the outlet, 'I just don't feel I need a partner.' The two-time Golden Globe nominee added, 'Do I want one? Maybe. But I don't feel unhappy or lonely - it would have to be someone so amazing that I would want to make room. 'Someone who would contribute to my happiness and not take away from it.' Saturday's event was hosted by veteran actor Sam Waterston, 84. The actor is best known for having played the iconic TV role of prosecutor Jack McCoy on more than 405 episodes of Law & Order spanning three decades. The organization was able to raise in excess of $1.7 million toward its objectives of protecting the waters. January said on Instagram that she was 'so excited to celebrate Oceana's 23rd birthday and attend @oceanaseachange last night! She added, 'Sharks are my 2nd favorite animal. They're iconic, powerful, and essential to the health of our oceans. But they're also under threat. 'That's why I've been a longtime supporter of @oceana who campaigns to protect sharks and keep our oceans healthy.'
