Fettal will now join Alvaro Arbeloa's Real Madrid Castilla after spending last season training regularly with Almería's first team under coach Rubi.
Fettal joined Almeria at the Cadete level and steadily progressed until reaching the first team. On 3 December 2023, he made his debut in Spain's top division against Real Betis.
Before that, he had played a key role in the youth ranks, notably helping the team finish as runners-up in the 2022/2023 Copa del Rey Juvenil and later securing promotion to Segunda RFEF with Almeria B.
During the most recent season, Rachad remained a regular part of the first-team squad and scored his first senior goal against Eibar, equalising late in a match that seemed lost.

The 20-year-old striker will join Real Madrid's Castilla setup, potentially as a replacement for Gonzalo Garcia, who is set to earn a first-team promotion next season.

Barcelona make final decision on Gerard Martin's future
Barcelona have made a clear decision regarding the future of Gerard Martin. As per an update from SPORT, the club has decided that the young defender will remain a part of the first-team squad for the 2025/26 season, unless something unexpected changes the plan. Martin, who had no previous top-level experience before joining the senior squad last summer, quickly became one of the biggest revelations under Hansi Flick. Coming straight from the First RFEF, his performances last season exceeded expectations. In Flick's first year in charge, the 23-year-old full-back showed remarkable development and became one of the most improved players in the squad. The turning point for Martin came when he started in two of the club's biggest matches – the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and the UEFA Champions League second leg at San Siro against Inter Milan. He was crucial in both games, delivering two impressive assists and showing maturity well beyond his years. Gerard Martin has Barcelona's backing Barcelona will not sell Gerard Martin. (Photo by) After recovering from a recent injury, Martin featured in both of Barcelona's pre-season games, including a role as a left-footed centre-back against FC Seoul. Despite interest from Premier League clubs, Barcelona have no intention of letting him go. In fact, the outlet reports that the decision to keep Martin is final, barring a dramatic change. It is to be noted that the battle for the left-back position will be intense in the upcoming season. Alejandro Balde remains the club's first-choice in that role, but Jofre Torrents, another rising talent from La Masia, is pushing hard to break into the senior team. The added competition will only raise the level within the squad. Even so, the coaching staff and the board have full faith in Martin. His growth, tactical versatility, and ability to perform in high-pressure games have convinced the club that he is worth keeping. For now, Barcelona have shut the door on a transfer, and he looks set to continue in Blaugrana colours.

Real Madrid star responds to transfer interest from Benfica
Real Madrid are focusing on sales for the time being, with Rodrygo Goes, Ferland Mendy and David Alaba said to be leading contenders to depart the Santiago Bernabeu before the end of the summer. However, there are other players that have attracted interest, and among them is Brahim Diaz. In recent weeks, interest in Brahim has grown. Saudi Pro League sides Neom SC, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal are keen, and they are prepared to pay €40m to prise him away from Real Madrid. And now, Benfica has joined the race. As per Record (via MD), the Portuguese giants want to sign Brahim as an alternative to Joao Felix, who recently joined Al-Nassr. The Morocco international, who has attracted further interest from top clubs in Europe, is seen as the ideal player to strengthen their squad. Image via Andre Coelho/EFE Brahim has no plans to leave Real Madrid However, the bad news for Benfica is that the matter is about to go the same way as their pursuit of Felix. As per Marca, Brahim has absolutely no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer, and that is confirmed by the fact that he is about to sign a new five-year contract with the club. Equally, Real Madrid do not want to part ways with Brahim, who is counted on by new head coach Xabi Alonso. The 26-year-old will be a valuable squad player, especially with Jude Bellingham sidelined for the next three months after undergoing surgery on a niggling shoulder injury. It makes a lot of sense for Real Madrid to retain Brahim, given how impressive he has been since returning from Milan two summers ago. And the player himself will hope to help Los Blancos make a significant improvement on their fortunes from last season, in which they ended the campaign without winning a major trophy.
