A former Love Island star has been jailed for 14 years after assisting with a major international drug-smuggling operation.
Magdalena Sadlo appeared on the Polish version of ITV's dating show in 2021.
The contestant was nicknamed Barbie, living in London at the time and describing herself to viewers as a 'spontaneous, self-confident blonde who you can count on'.
Last July, she appeared at the Carlisle crown court, pleading guilty to conspiring to supply class A drug cocaine between March 2022 and May 2023.
The operation was known as one of the UK's largest ever drug busts, with 30-year-old Sadlo originally detained by police last February after jetting into Heathrow from Dubai as part of an investigation codenamed Operation Matrix.

At the time, she was flying first class with Emirates, sporting several flashy accessories purchased with profits from her crimes, including a £130,000 rose gold Patek Phillipe watch, a £30,000 Rolex, and Cartier jewellery.

Sadlo had previously been brought in as the ring's financial director, aiding with the transportation of hundreds of kilos of cocaine across the world and documenting transactions worth millions via spreadsheets.
Additionally, she managed encrypted communications with senior cartel members and kept track of stock levels and expenses, as WhatsApp chats exposed.
She was working in hospitality in the Middle East as an 'eye-opening' amount of drugs made their way to UK streets.
As well as cocaine, she helped to organise shipments of ketamine and cannabis to Holland and then to Britain.
Explaining how significant her role was in the crime, prosecutor Tim Evans said the cartel could not have operated so effectively without her 'efficiency'.
He said: 'She not only manages the profits, costs, and expenses but also manages the stock levels.

'She updates who has taken what, at what cost, from what batch, and the profit margins involved.
'She is very much part of the inner circle… and is operating and seated at the very highest of tables.'
He added: 'She clearly knew the scale and seriousness of the trade she was engaging in.
'No organised crime group working at this level could operate or function without Magdalena Sadlo, or an equivalent, performing this role.'
Sadlo was also said to have been 'enthusiastic' and 'relentless' in her accounting, chastising other members when they did not meet her standards.
In contrast, her defence barrister, Peter Corrigan, argued that Sadlo played a lesser role than had been portrayed.

Sadlo also penned a letter expressing remorse for her actions, saying she had fallen on hard times.
The court also heard positive character references from her family and friends.
Meanwhile, while over in the UK, Sadlo operated as a drug courier and collected cocaine when it was imported in Essex.
In total, it is thought to have been a £53million 'Amazon-style drug dealing' operation.
A further 12 men have been sentenced for their roles, with their stretches behind bars totalling more than 100 years.
Judge Nicholas Barker likened the activity to 'unrolling a ball of wool around the world'.

Furthermore, Detective Superintendent Zoe Russo, of the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU), said: 'Operation Matrix has resulted in the conviction of 13 individuals and prison sentences totalling over 140 years.
'These convictions strike a significant blow to the supply of drugs across the Northwest and the UK as we continue to remove top-end controllers of international drug supply.
'Magdalena Sadlo's arrest and conviction highlight the reach and complexity of this operation. She played a key role in managing international drug supply and laundering criminal profits and will now face the consequences of her actions behind bars.
'We hope this investigation sends a clear message that whatever your role is in drug trafficking, we will find you, investigate you, and bring you to justice.
'We are committed to ridding the streets of drugs, robustly dealing with high-harm offenders to reduce crime and restore trust and confidence in communities across the Northwest.'

Scots bin lorry driver killed schoolboy cyclist after failing to check road

Ross Wallace first failed to realise he's struck Thomas Wong and continued driving before he eventually stopped and discovered the schoolboy lying in the roadway. A Scots bin lorry driver has admitted causing the death of a child who was cycling to school by failing to carry out proper checks as he pulled out of the car park of the world's oldest golf club. ‌ Ross Wallace struck 11-year-old Thomas Wong as he drove the NWH Group refuse truck out of the exit of the Royal Burgess Golfing Society car park in Cramond, Edinburgh last year. ‌ Wallace, 29, continued to drive the large vehicle unaware he had struck the child before he eventually stopped and discovered the tragic victim lying in the roadway. ‌ Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision with the Scania HGV refuse lorry at around 8.30am on March 1 last year. Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told internal cab footage from the truck had captured Wallace "using his mobile phone on numerous occasions" over the course of three hours prior to the accident. The footage showed Wallace had failed to "keep proper observations of the road ahead while driving the bin lorry" and on one occasion he is viewed "using his mobile phone while reversing the HGV". ‌ The court was told the use of the mobile phone while Wallace, of Prestonpans, East Lothian, drove the bin lorry "occurred earlier on in the day and had no bearing on the collision" involving the child. Wallace pleaded guilty to causing the death of Thomas Wong by driving without due care and attention at Whitehouse Loan Edinburgh, on March 1 last year when he appeared at the city' s sheriff court on Thursday. ‌ He also admitted to a charge of driving while failing to keep proper observations on the road and on repeated occasions drive while using a mobile phone while reversing the vehicle. Prosecutor Anna Robertson read out a written narration and said Thomas had been cycling along the pavement on his way to school when he approached the car park exit to the Royal Burgess Golf Club. ‌ Ms Robertson said: "On exiting the car park onto Whitehouse Road, the accused's vehicle struck Thomas, who at that time, was cycling on the pavement across the junction. "Internal dashcam footage of the HGV showed the accused looking around the car park as he proceeded to exit. "As he prepared to turn left onto Whitehouse Road, the accused was seen to continuously look to his right as he moved forwards, over the wall at the car park, towards the oncoming traffic in his direction. ‌ "The accused failed to make proper observations to his left and failed to account for any vulnerable road users crossing the junction and footpath. "Having heard a noise, the accused was initially unaware that he had struck Thomas. He stopped the vehicle and discovered the deceased on the roadway." ‌ The court was told a subsequent collision investigation had found the speed of the bin lorry had "reduced to 7.5 mph immediately prior to the point of impact with the deceased". Ms Robertson said: "The CCTV speed analysis shows that the driver of the Scania HGV has not reacted to the presence of Thomas and has continued diving south on Whitehouse Road." ‌ The investigation concluded the collision occurred due to the driver failing to "carry out visual checks prior to driving across the driveway where the deceased was cycling". The report also stated 11-year-old Thomas had "failed to carry out sufficient observations for vehicles which may be exiting the car park". The fiscal depute added: "In the opinion of the collision investigators, the accused's lack of caution at the car park exit has led to his being unaware of the initial collision with the deceased and to the vehicle continuing its journey southwards, whereby the Scania HGV has driven over the deceased, inflicting fatal injuries." Sheriff Alistair Noble issued Wallace with an interim driving ban and deferred full sentence for the preparation of social work reports to next month.
