FOX Nation to stream Real American Freestyle wrestling events
The first event, called RAF 01, is scheduled for August 30 at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland. FOX Nation also will stream a second event in the fall at a date to be determined.
'Real American Freestyle is creating something that's never been done before, and we needed a partner that understood that and could build with us,' Hulk Hogan, Real American Freestyle commissioner, said of the direct-to-consumer, on-demand service. 'FOX Nation is synergistic with our brand, they appreciate the importance of bringing this sport to the masses, and they believe in our goal.'
The collaboration is the latest of several big moves for RAF. The company has added American Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle to its broadcast team to join mixed martial arts stars Chael Sonnen and Bubba Jenkins.
Angle likes the idea of RAF providing wrestlers a new opportunity to make money.
'I grew up freestyle wrestling and achieved the highest level of success in the sport,' Angle said. 'I couldn't be prouder to support athletes at all levels of their careers and partner with Real American Freestyle to make it happen. Chael and Bubba will bring a unique aspect to their analysis given their own backgrounds in combat sports, and I'm excited to join them for RAF 01 to bring freestyle wrestling to audiences around the world.'
The company has announced most of the matchups for the first event. Men's matches scheduled are Bo Nickal vs. Jacob Cardenas, Yianni Diakomihalis vs. Bajrang Punia, Darrion Caldwell vs. Real Woods and Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer. Women's matches scheduled are Kennedy Blades vs. Alejandra Rivera and Sarah Hildebrandt vs. Zeltzin Hernandez.
Wyatt Hendrickson, the Oklahoma State star who upset Minnesota's Gable Steveson in the NCAA Division I heavyweight final this year, has signed. His opponent for RAF 01 has not been determined.

Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Trounces Trump With His Own Alleged Words
Jimmy Kimmel is once again taking time out of his vacation to troll President Donald Trump. The late night host is set to return to ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' after Labor Day, but clearly caught wind of Trump's latest attack on social media — in which he suggested that Kimmel's show will soon be canceled just as Stephen Colbert's has been. 'The word is, and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, Fallon will be gone,' Trump wrote Tuesday morning on his Truth Social platform. 'These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television,' he continued. 'It's really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!' Trump recently celebrated the news that Colbert's 'Late Show' was canceled by CBS, whose parent company Paramount Global notably requires legal approval from Trump's Federal Communications Commission for a lucrative $8 billion merger it's seeking. Colbert was ousted mere days after publicly slamming Paramount Global for settling a lawsuit with Trump for $16 million over a '60 Minutes' interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, leading fans, pundits and lawmakers to suspect potential bribery. Kimmel made mincemeat of Trump's callous warning Tuesday on Instagram — and responded with a delightful dig of his own. 'I'm hearing you're next,' Kimmel wrote. 'Or maybe it's just another wonderful secret.' The response was a reference to a birthday message Trump allegedly wrote in 2003 to his then-friend Jeffrey Epstein, who would be convicted of sex crimes in 2008 and later died in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Trump, who socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, wrote the message inside the hand-drawn outline of a naked woman and wrote: 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.' While the majority of right-wing broadcasters continued to express support for Trump despite his administration teasing it would declassify files on Epstein and his rumored 'client list' only to reverse course, much of Trump's base is increasingly irate at his lack of answers.
