Mandira Bedi remembered her late husband, Raj Kaushal, on his death anniversary with a heartfelt Instagram post. Kaushal, a filmmaker, passed away in 2021.
Some losses never get easier and Mandira Bedi's latest post proves just that. On her husband Raj Kaushal's death anniversary today, June 30, the actress and TV personality took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute that tugged at all the right heartstrings.
Mandira, who often shares memories of Raj with their kids and her followers, kept it simple yet deeply touching this time. She took to Instagram to share a sweet throwback photo with her late husband Raj Kaushal, writing, '4 years since you left us. Miss you." The picture shows a joyful moment between the two, Mandira flashing a warm smile as Raj wraps his arms around her from behind.
For those who may not know, Raj Kaushal passed away suddenly on June 30, 2021, after suffering a heart attack. He and Mandira Bedi had been married since 1999 and shared a beautiful family. The couple welcomed their son Vir in 2011, and in 2020, their hearts grew even fuller when they adopted their daughter Tara, who was four at the time.
Raj was a filmmaker best known for directing films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ke Laddoo. His passing was a huge loss, not just to his family, but also to the film industry and the many lives he touched.
Earlier this year on Valentine's Day, Mandira had shared another emotional tribute to her late husband. She posted a short video that began with the words 'Happy anniversary Raj," followed by a nostalgic throwback from their wedding day. In the caption, she wrote, 'We would have been married 26 years today..Miss you #raji .. #happyvalentinesday." It was a simple yet deeply moving reminder of their bond.
Professionally, Mandira has had quite a journey. She broke barriers as one of the first female cricket presenters in India, anchoring ICC World Cups in 2003 and 2007. She shot to fame with her role in Shanti and later appeared in hit shows like Dushman, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. In films, she's been seen in The Tashkent Files, Saaho, and more recently, the 2023 Netflix series The Railway Men, where she starred alongside R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu, and Babil Khan.

Meet Rinke Khanna, younger daughter of Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, worked in films, quit acting 21 years ago, here's how she looks now

With a face full of innocence and the weight of a film legacy, Rinke Khanna entered Bollywood in 1999 with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. She played a character named Khushi, and her songs, especially 'Musu Musu Hasi Deu' and 'Woh Pehli Baar', became instant hits. The film may not have set the box office on fire, but Rinke's performance earned her a Filmfare nomination for Best Female Debut. She was the daughter of two legends, Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, and sister to Twinkle Khanna. Stardom seemed only natural. But it didn't pan out that way. Who did she act with before quitting? Despite her promising start, Rinke appeared in only nine films. She shared the screen with big names, Govinda in Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai, Salman Khan in Yeh Hai Jalwa, and Tusshar Kapoor in Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. She even did a Tamil film Majunu, and featured in offbeat titles like Mango Soufflé, Jhankaar Beats, Chameli, and Pran Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye. Her last appearance was in 2004's Chameli, where she played a supporting role to Kareena Kapoor. And then—silence. Why did she step away from the spotlight? After a lukewarm run in Bollywood, Rinke quietly exited the scene. In 2003, she married businessman Sameer Saran and moved to London. She shifted focus from scripts to family. The camera never found its way back into her life. Why is her name suddenly trending again? Recently, during the premiere of Akshay Kumar's 'Sky Force', all eyes were on a fresh face, Naomika Saran, Rinke's daughter. Social media buzzed about her resemblance to her mother and grandmother Dimple Kapadia. Naomika's poise, simplicity, and grace reminded many of Rinke's early days. That one event brought Rinke Khanna back into conversations. She was also spotted recently in Mumbai alongside her mother, sparking rumours about whether the family might be preparing Naomika for a debut of her own.
