
Yoga session held at DTC office
Anantapur: As part of International Yoga Day 2025 celebrations, 'Yogandhra-2025' programme was successfully held at the premises of the Deputy Transport Commissioner's Office in Anantapur.
The event was organised following the directions of District Collector and led by M Veerendra, Deputy Transport Commissioner, with expert training and guidance provided by master trainer Dr Ramakrishna Reddy.
A Yoga demonstration was skilfully performed by Kumari Ramya from the Yoga Concessions Trust (YCT), Nandyal. The event witnessed active participation from officials and staff and also automobile vehicle dealers, driving school students, and staff of pollution testing centers.

VTU's Kalaburagi regional centre hosts workshop on UGCET-2025 seat allotment process
The regional centre of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), in collaboration with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), organised a workshop titled MANTHANA-2025 to educate students and parents on the UGCET-2025 seat allotment process. Held at the seminar hall on the VTU campus in Kalaburagi on Saturday, the workshop aimed to promote clarity, transparency, and preparedness among UGCET aspirants, their families, and academic staff. The keynote address was delivered by Kirankumar, coordinator from KEA, who provided detailed insights into the UGCET-2025 seat allotment procedures. His session also included an interactive Q&A segment. Adding value to the programme, a video message from Higher Education Minister M.C. Sudhakar was played, offering encouragement and guidance to attendees. The workshop witnessed participation from over 300 students and parents, along with faculty members and special officers.
