Amazon vacuum falls to new low and is 'exceptional for the price'
Amazon has cut 30% off a cordless vacuum cleaner that shoppers have said is 'exceptional for the price'. The Smoture VAC01 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has hit a record low price of £119.50, saving shoppers £50.49 from the usual £169.99 price tag.
This model has also been awarded the Amazon's Choice label, which the retailer uses to flag highly-rated and well-priced products ready for immediate dispatch. The Smoture VAC01 boasts 'powerful' suction thanks to its brushless 550w motor, which is said to remove even deeply embedded dirt.
It has a touch-screen display for switching between its four cleaning modes. Eco, Standard, Boost and Auto. In Auto, the vacuum cleaner automatically adjusts its suction power to match the floor type, whether that's increasing the strength for carpet or reducing it for easier-to-clean hard floors.
The display also alerts users to any blockages and shows the remaining battery life, which can last for up to 60 minutes, or 18 minutes on the powerful boost mode. The Smoture vacuum is designed with a self-standing feature – allowing it to stand on its own without falling over – and comes with a wall-mounted charging station for easy storage.
With a 4.8-star rating, the Smoture VAC01 beats the 4.2-star rated Shark's Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Plus Cordless Vacuum. However, this model is said to feature Shark's 'best ever' hair pick up and offers the brand's popular de-tangling brush roll.
This is also a feature of the Hoover HF9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner With Anti Hair Wrap, which the brand will cut from £239 to £139 with the code POWER. This 'Pet Exclusive' model is rated 4.7 stars and comes with a pet hair tool and a long crevice tool
But of the Smoture VAC01, one satisfied shopper said: 'My best buy this year. The build quality is excellent – it is very robust. The wall mount is great without being over fussy and includes a handy tool store. Using the machine is a doddle – it handles copious amounts of dog hair, and I am really impressed with the machine's power. A nice touch is the inclusion of spare filters, fragrance tablets and a handy cleaning tool. Would definitely recommend.'
Another said: 'Fantastic, love this vacuum. It picks up dirt really well and the suction is great for a cordless vacuum. The battery life is fantastic and it's super easy to hold and use. It's a lot better than my old Dyson and I will definitely be purchasing another in the future.'
A third buyer said: 'The best thing about this is how light and easy to manoeuvre it is on all floor surfaces. [The] suction is plenty powerful and the motor is not noisy. The controls are simple and easy to use and the display clear. The lightness of the main unit coupled with the height adjustment feature make doing awkward areas such as stairs and ceilings nice and easy. The build quality is exceptional for the price and all round I'm very impressed.'
However, not everyone is convinced, as this shopper said: 'Nowhere near the same level of suction as a Dyson, but does the job. Decent on hard flooring, picking up bits, but needs more power for carpets.'

Amazon wireless earbuds with perfect 5-star rating slashed by 85% to just £20
'They're easy to use, portable, and perform reliably in most everyday situations' In recent years, wireless earbuds have become incredibly popular. Whether you're commuting, hitting the gym, or just out for a stroll, the lightweight tech is super handy. Clear sound without the faff of wires, as well as a pocket-sized charging case makes these a must-have for anyone on the go. The big name brands have some extremely popular products, like the Apple AirPods, but these come with a hefty price tag. Over on Amazon, however, there is a pair of buds that boasts a perfect five-star rating. And, to make things even better, the Rinsmola Wireless Earbuds are currently just £19.99. The Bluetooth earbuds are currently 85 per cent off for a limited time, meaning they have been slashed from £129.99. They come in three colours; black, grey, and white. The upgraded Bluetooth 5.4 technology reduces delay, offers a connection distance of up to 45ft, and means they can meet "diverse listening needs". Amazon says the Rinsmola Wireless Earbuds have "crisp, clear, and balanced" sound and filter out external sounds with their noise-cancelling tech. Lightweight and comfortable, each bud is just 3.6g, and they come with three sizes of ear cap to fit snugly inside anyone's ear. They have eight hours of playtime from a single charge and 36 hours including the charging case's boost - plus an LED display on the case lets you know how much juice they have left. For those looking elsewhere, Apple's AirPods Pro 2 are currently £229 on Argos, where they boast a 4.8-star rating from over 1,400 reviews. Shoppers on a budget can pick up Cillso's Wireless Earbuds in four different colours on Amazon for £19.99, after they too enjoyed a hefty price cut. But the Rinsmola Wireless Earbuds boast a whopping five out of five star rating on Amazon, where they have 110 reviews and have been branded a "must buy". One delighted shopper said: "Using these earbuds for a few days now and it is really an incredible experience of which I am highly impressed. "Starting from sound quality, it's crystal clear, with deep bass and crisp highs that makes music, podcasts, and calls a pleasure which denotes its high quality both in its earphones and microphone. In busy and noisy areas, Noise cancellation works so well. "Battery life is excellent too. The charging speed and its durability is on another level. It's highly durable. They're incredibly comfortable to wear and the fit is secure enough for workouts or walking without worrying they'll fall out. "Pairing with my phone was seamless. This product is a must buy because it's a highly reliable, high-quality pair of earbuds at a reasonable price, I highly recommend these!" Someone else said: "These wireless earbuds offer a great balance of sound quality, battery life, comfort, and connectivity. They're easy to use, portable, and perform reliably in most everyday situations." There were no negative reviews, but one person did say that the sound was "a little quieter" than what they had been used to with other headphones. But that same customer highlighted battery life, sound quality, and comfortable fit as positives. And someone else said: "The sound quality is great considering the price and they stay in my ear. The touch sensitivity on the earbuds works well to adjust volume and pause. No issues, I can buy 4 or 5 different colors of these for the price of one AirPod."
