The first batch of 300 students will begin classes in September on National Film Development Corporation's premises on Mumbai's Pedder Road. What will students learn? The institute will offer industry-driven courses in the AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) sector. The institute, which was announced by Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, at World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in May 2025, is backed by prestigious global partnerships and industry leaders, a Ministry of Information and Broadcasting release said. The inaugural academic offering includes six specialised courses in gaming, four courses in Post Production and eight courses in Animation, Comics and XR. Leading global companies such as Google, YouTube, Adobe, Meta, Microsoft, NVIDIA and JioStar have committed to long-term collaborations with IICT. Emiway Bantai Falls Headfirst During Car Stunt For 'Dubai Company'; Fans Say ‘Lala, Mat Kar'

Last Updated: Emiway Bantai's car stunt for his upcoming track Dubai Company went dangerously wrong as he fell headfirst from a moving SUV during a shoot in Sharjah. Rapper-singer Emiway Bantai, known for his unapologetic swag and viral hooks, is gearing up for the release of his new single Dubai Company—a track that promises high-octane visuals, luxe aesthetics, and adrenaline-fueled energy. But a recent behind-the-scenes video has left fans shaken instead of hyped. In a new episode of his Day to Day with Emiway vlog series (Episode 3), the rapper shared a harrowing clip that shows him performing a dangerous car stunt in Sharjah. In the video, Emiway can be seen hanging halfway out of a speeding Toyota SUV as it drifts sharply around a curve. In a shocking turn, the car jerks—and Emiway is flung out of the window, landing hard on his head. 'Stunt Gone Wrong (Day to Day with Emiway) Ep. 3 Full episode out now on my YouTube channel," he wrote on Instagram alongside a teaser of the moment that's now going viral. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Emiway Bantai (@emiwaybantai) Fans were quick to express concern and admiration for his dedication—though many begged him to never attempt something like this again. 'Oh 😮 that's right he fall down while they are doing stunts… Behind this beautiful video is a lot of hard work. But yeah Alhamdulillah he is safe now." one user commented. Another wrote, 'Itna dedication mat laao lala, ki jaan chali jaaye (Don't be so dedicated that it costs your life)." One visibly shaken fan exclaimed, 'Damn… Sar ke bal gira tha! He really be doing his own stunts." Another added, 'Mt kr lala, mt kr, mai bolra hu na tereko mt krr (Don't do it, bro… I'm seriously telling you—don't!)." Despite the mishap, the rapper emerged safe—and undeterred. Dubai Company is all set to release on Wednesday, July 23, and anticipation remains sky-high. Born Muhammad Bilal Shaikh, Emiway Bantai has become one of Indian hip-hop's most influential and polarizing figures. From his breakout 2014 hit Aur Bantai to headlining global stages, the Bengaluru-born, Mumbai-raised rapper has carved his space in desi rap through grit, rawness, and an unwavering DIY spirit. But if Dubai Company is any indication, Emiway is now pushing visual storytelling to a whole new level—even if it means taking a few dangerous turns along the way. view comments First Published: July 20, 2025, 20:00 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
