Brendan Rodgers led Celtic to a fourth consecutive title last season, the 55th league triumph in the club's history.
As is tradition, the championship flag will be unfurled before the first league match of the season.
The Hoops get their 2025/26 league campaign underway against St Mirren on Sunday afternoon.
Each year, someone is given the honour of unfurling the flag.
Last year, it was Lisbon Lion Jim Craig who received the big gig.
In 2023, James Forrest was given the honour in recognition of his long service to the club.
This year, Celtic are bringing in a true big hitter to do the honours.
Celts icon Paul McStay is the man who will be tasked with unfurling the flag this year.
It'll mark a rather rare Parkhead appearance for the 60-year old who spent his entire career with Celtic.
McStay made 515 league appearances for the Hoops between 1981 and 1997.

Nicknamed 'The Maestro,' McStay won three league titles, four Scottish Cups and one League Cup as a Celtic player.
He's widely regarded as one of the club's greatest ever players.
Capped 76 times by Scotland, McStay left the country in 2010.
He emigrated to Australia with his wife and children and settled in Sydney.
Given he's on the other side of the world, McStay isn't often seen at Celtic Park these days.
So his appearance back at Parkhead this Sunday will no doubt be a special one for the Hoops supporters.

On McStay's return, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers said: "Paul was a great player. He always gave you hope watching Celtic.
"You always felt that, in those tough times when Celtic maybe suffered a bit, he could produce that moment of magic.
"He was a brilliant player, a really humble guy and I have been fortunate enough to have met him.
"That was a real privilege and a real honour for me.
"He will get an incredible reception, and it will be amazing to see him again."

Rangers boss Martin has no regrets over brutal take-down of Ibrox stars... and insists he expects the right response in European tie against Plzen
Russell Martin insists he harbours no concerns about the possible impact of his scathing assessment of Rangers ' performance against Motherwell. Despite leading through skipper James Tavernier's early goal at Fir Park, the visitors were overrun in the second half and dropped two points on the Premiership's opening day when Emmanuel Longelo struck for the Steelmen with three minutes remaining. Pulling no punches afterwards, Martin questioned the mentality of many of his charges, accusing them slipping into 'self-preservation mode' and having 'too much ego'. Two days after the event, though, the 39-year-old was in no mood to take a backwards step. Declaring himself to be entirely comfortable with uttering such harsh words so early in the season, Martin said he wasn't concerned that his actions might have not the desired effect on certain individuals. 'I think if it has a detrimental effect on certain individuals, then they're probably not the ones we want to come on the journey with us,' he stated. 'So, I think if it has a detrimental effect on you and it hurts you to the point where you feel singled out, then there's probably an issue with you being all in at this place and this club and with us. 'I don't have any worry about it being detrimental on the team. Whenever I've questioned any of our teams in the past about attitude, the response has been fantastic. And then the problems have been maybe technical and ability. 'I've not said one thing addressing them and then told you (the media) another thing. 'So, I guess this is where you learn a lot about people. I'm really comfortable if I say that because I know where it comes from. It's not a concerted effort to out anyone or to try and beat someone. We're not. 'I think I'm just always going to be honest with the players and the supporters.' Martin also doesn't fear that one consequence of his words might be that the club becomes hampered with several unhappy players. 'No, I don't think so,' he added. 'There's plenty of time before the end of the window. 'I'm pretty sure all the players in here want to be part of something. And if not, at the end of it, if they don't want to be here, I don't want to force anyone to be at the football club. And it's up to their agents to find the right people for them and for us.' Since Saturday, the manager said he'd received a number of texts from people close to the club who fully approved of his decision to go public with his criticisms after just one league game. 'I had a lot of messages from people who were associated with this club who were really supportive of it,' he added. 'I think they understand when they've been in this building, they understand what's required and what quite hasn't quite been there over the last few seasons for whatever reason.' Martin yesterday completed the £3million signing of Oliver Antman, with the Finnish winger arriving from Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles. Antman is the ninth recruit of the summer. Speaking to RangersTV, the 23-year-old said: 'When I first heard Rangers were interested I was excited. It's a huge club, one of the most successful clubs in Europe and the world, and you don't get this kind of opportunity many times in your life.' Rangers were last night trying to register Antman and Mikey Moore in time to face Viktoria Plzen in the first leg of the Champions League third round qualifier. Neither Hamza Igamane or Thelo Aasgaard are yet fit enough to be considered for tonight's clash. Meanwhile, Rangers will face Club Brugge or Salzburg in the play-off round if they can get past the Czechs. Either side would make for a tough opponent. The Belgians finished runners-up in their domestic league, won the Belgian Cup and reached the last 16 of the Champions League. Martin's men drew 2-2 with them in a pre-season friendly. Last season, Salzburg were also second in their league and finished third bottom of the 36-team Champions League group.

Willie Miller: Are Aberdeen ready for their Tynecastle baptism of fire?
It's hard to say whether Aberdeen are ready for their Tynecastle test on Monday – but trouble lies ahead if they're not. It doesn't come much tougher than a trip to Hearts for Aberdeen's first game of the season. For me, facing champions Celtic at Celtic Park is the only game tougher than facing Hearts on their own turf for the first game of the season. I don't think a trip to Ibrox to face Rangers would have been as challenging for Jimmy Thelin's side as going to Tynecastle is going to be, but I'm fascinated to see how this is going to play out. The Jambos are on a roll. They've spent a lot of money in the summer, they've got momentum and in Derek McInnes they have a former Dons boss looking to get off to a flier in his first league game against his old club. Hearts will be focused on being back in the hunt for European places this season after a disappointing campaign and in McInnes they have a manager with a track record of qualifying for Europe in the last 10 years. Add in the atmosphere and Aberdeen's recent record at Hearts then it is not hard to see why the Premiership opener is such a tough start for the Dons. As to whether the Dons are ready for their opening day test, I find myself struggling to answer that question. We've seen so little of the Dons this summer that it makes gauging where they are in their preparations so tough. I've no doubt the training camp in Portugal will have helped the new players settle into the squad but it feels as if it has been an unusually long summer for Dons fans since the euphoria of Scottish Cup glory in May. I'm used to going into the first weekend in August having watched the Dons in the early qualifying rounds in Europe or having played some friendlies and four Premier Sports Cup group matches. But this year much of the work has been done away from the public eye. From what I have seen though I am not expecting the manager to deviate from his approach of last season as he did in the cup final against Celtic when he switched to three at the back. I expect 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-4 depending on how you look at it with two wide players, a number nine and a player in the number 10 position off the main striker taking to the Tynecastle pitch. Once the players cross the line though, it's up to them to get to grips with the challenge they are facing. I would expect the manager and the senior players will have the new faces well briefed on what to expect in Edinburgh. I hope that's the case as Tynecastle can catch you out if you're not ready for it. There's a reason why so many players enjoy going there and the atmosphere is top of the list. Nothing will be determined on day one of course but there's little doubt a first win for the Dons at Tynecastle since May 2017 would be a major statement from Thelin's players on Monday. The departure of the dancing Don Pape Habib Gueye for Turkey on Friday represents a good piece of business for Aberdeen, but it has left them lacking in forwards. We have another four weeks until the transfer window closes but it is going to be a busy month at Pittodrie and the lack of firepower is the biggest issue for me. I haven't seen enough of new striker Kusini Yengi to say whether he is the man to lead the line for the Dons this season. But Ester Sokler has had little involvement in pre-season which leaves Peter Ambrose and Fletcher Boyd as the only other striker options for Thelin to choose from. The Dons want to add AC Milan forward Marko Lazetic to their ranks but I would hope a striker with some pedigree is also on the manager's August shopping list. Kevin Nisbet was the man to get the goals in the absence of Bojan Miovski last season and Aberdeen could certainly benefit from the addition of a proven finisher in their ranks this month. The continued absence of Emmanuel Gyamfi will also have given Thelin much to ponder. The summer signing has not featured yet due to injury leaving Thelin with having to go with Graeme Shinnie, Nicky Devlin or Gavin Molloy in the left back slot. It will be interesting to see if another left back to compete for that position is also added to the shopping list before the window closes.

Antman ready for Rangers debut and Diomande reunion
The Finnish winger today joined the Scottish Premiership giants after a spell in the Netherlands with Go Ahead Eagles. Russell Martin hopes his ninth summer signing will be registered in time to face Viktoria Plzen in the club's third round Champions League qualifier tomorrow night. If called upon, Antman insists he's ready after doing a full pre-season with his former side. "When I first heard Rangers were interested, I was excited because it is a huge club, and you don't get these kinds of opportunities many times in your life," the 23-year-old told Rangers TV. 'The last couple of days have been really busy and stressful but now I am ready to settle in. "I am excited for tomorrow, the first match at Ibrox. I have heard it is a special place, but I haven't even seen it yet, so I am excited for everything that is to come. "I have trained with Go Ahead Eagles now for over a month, I have had five training matches and also a 90-minute game, so I'm fully fit and ready." Antman played with fellow teammate Mohamed Diomande in Denmark during his time spent with Nordsjælland. And the winger admits he sounded out the midfielder after moving to Glasgow. He added: "Of course, I played with Diomande for many years. "I asked him 'Should I come? Is it a nice place?'. He said only nice things about it."
