While out in the French capital, Aleph approached Swedish star Marlon who was filming content, and casually dropped a surprising fact.
He asked, 'You know Star Wars? Padmé Amidala? Well, that's my mom.'
Then he cheekily added, 'Can you give a shoutout to my mom?'

To back up his claim, Aleph pulled out family photos from his phone.
Marlon, clearly taken aback, asked, 'That's your mom?!' to which Aleph confidently replied, 'Yeah, that's my mom.'
Taking full advantage of the moment, Marlon asked Aleph to call Natalie herself.
Moments later, the actress appeared on screen as Aleph said, 'Mom, do you want to say hi to Marlon?'

Marlon replied, 'Nice to meet you,' adding, 'I'm here with your son real quick, we're about to play a little football.'

And Natalie, who made her acting debut aged 12 in Leon, revealed this year that Rihanna shared some kind words to help her through her divorce.
The Star Wars actress met the 36-year-old for the first time at Paris Fashion Week in January and, after fangirling together, the singer told Natalie something that created a "formative moment."
In the clip, caught on camera, Natalie, 43, told Rihanna, 'I love you" who in return, received the reply, 'I am a f**king fan.'
The Black Swan star continued, "I'm gonna faint. I'm gonna black out.

"I love you and I listen to your music all the time… You're just such a queen. Thank you," Natalie continued to praise the Fenty founder.
On Monday, Natalie told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that Rihanna had called her "one of the hottest b****** in Hollywood.
"I think every woman going through a divorce should get to have Rihanna say to her that she's a bad b****," she said.
Jimmy then got to his feet and gave her loud applause.

Sean ‘Diddy' Combs denied bail after mixed verdict clears him of some charges

A judge has declined to grant bail to Sean 'Diddy' Combs, potentially allowing the hip hop mogul to be freed to await sentencing in his sex crimes case. The bond decision came after a jury convicted Combs of federal prostitution-related offences, but acquitted him of sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Combs, 55, has been behind bars since his arrest in September. The Grammy-winning impresario stands convicted of two counts of a crime — transportation to engage in prostitution — that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. But jurors cleared him of charges that could have put him behind bars for life. His lawyers argued that the acquittal on those counts changed the legal landscape enough that he should be freed on one million dollars bond. Prosecutors said he remained a flight risk.

Tom Dunne: Bruce Springsteen gives us an early Christmas gift

July may seem a little early to be wishing you a Happy Christmas, but if you're Springsteen fan I can't think of what else to say. The Boss got you something amazing this year and just couldn't wait 'til December to give it to you. And you won't be asking for a gift receipt either. It's timely too in the run up to July 4, Independence Day and all that. I can't remember a time when celebrating that great nation's big day has seemed more fraught with difficulty. But this gift from Bruce helps enormously. The problem with the antics of the current US administration is that America is not just the biggest military power in history - although it certainly is that, and seeing the 'world's cop' suddenly seeking back-handers is hard to take – but it is also, to many, a kind of Utopia. It has been, for centuries, a place to escape to, a refuge, a romantic ideal. It is the ultimate destination for, well, us tired, poor, huddled masses. Great writers have evoked that – Steinbeck, O'Connor, Faulkner – but few have brought it into our lives, with such power as Bruce. And now here are seven more entire volumes. Not individual, previously unheard tracks, but entire unreleased projects, spanning the years 1983 to 2019 and presented with stunning sleeve notes and Bruce's insights. If it was a Christmas gift, you'd be taking January off. Amongst its highlights... Streets of Philadelphia Sessions Springsteen was in a critical and commercial lull in the early 1990s when the song he wrote for the film Philadelphia won an Oscar for Best Song. Buoyed by this he resolved to write songs using the same template, namely drum loops and synths. The result was what has been described as 'scenes from a mid-life crisis.' It is probably one of the strongest albums in the seven-album set, so why was it not put out as it was fully mixed and scheduled for a mid 1995 release? Bruce says that he had just released three albums in a row about romantic relationships and felt a fourth was just too much. Instead, the record company went with a Greatest Hits package which was significant in both positioning him in the mid 90s and reconciling him with the E Street Band. An early version of Secret Garden which featured on that hits album is included here. Faithless The most intriguing of the seven albums as it was 'commissioned' for a film that was never released. It does beg the question, who commissions Bruce Springsteen and doesn't release the film? Surely if you have a Bruce soundtrack you'd just commission a new film? Springsteen wrote these in the early 2000s when on a trip to Florida to visit his daughter and his children feature on one track. Is it throwaway? No, of course not. God Sent You is as beautiful a love song as you will hear this year. The film was to be a 'spiritual Western'. Is it too late to make it now? Bruce Springsteen, Tracks II: The Lost Albums. Somewhere North of Nashville This album was made simultaneously with The Ghost of Tom Joad. That material was quite down so in the afternoons they would kick back and have fun. The title track later appeared on the superb 2019 release Western Stars. There is a countrified version of Born in the USA, a gorgeous cover of Johnny Rivers' Poor Side of Town and the always sublime B side, Janey, Don't You Lose Heart. At a pivotal time in his career – his first acoustic album since Nebraska – this was seen as too light-hearted to be released. Oh, to have something as light-hearted and unreleased in my back catalogue. After that there are too many highlights to list but one, a companion piece Twilight Hours, to the Western Stars album on which he celebrated the song writing of Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, will be, to many, worth the price of admission alone. Regarding that price, the vinyl box set is €320, delivery included. That's, ahem, €29 per slice of vinyl, he said as if explaining the purchase to his wife, or €45 per lost album. But that doesn't take into account Erik Flannigan's insightful and wonderful notes, contained in a hardback book! A small price to pay, no one has ever argued, for an item described in one paper as 'surely the greatest box set of all time'. I will be in my man shed until further notice.

‘The Monk is sophisticated enough, he likes his Eggs Benedict' – ‘Crime World' host Nicola Tallant on Gerry Hutch's eating habits

The podcaster reveals she met him for the face-to-face conversation over a dinner of halloumi burgers and chicken wings, before the November election. The broadcaster, who is this week's guest on the Under the Grill podcast, said: 'There was no coddle or any of this sort of stuff, even though you think he's such a traditional Dub, don't you? 'I'd say he has better taste than you and I. He's floating around the Mediterranean and he has probably eaten very nicely. He ordered a haloumi burger, and I, embarrassingly, had chicken wings. What an amateur I am. 'He is sophisticated enough – he like his Eggs Benedict. 'I did meet him in town over the course of the general election and he had an old-fashioned Irish breakfast at lunchtime.' Hutch walked free from the Special Criminal Court in 2023 after the State unsuccessfully sought to prosecute him for his involvement in a gun attack at the Regency Hotel in 2016. He is currently under investigation by authorities in Spain for alleged money laundering. He narrowly missed out on securing a Dáil seat in last year's general election. Ms Tallant said: 'He is quite distinguished looking: he's unusual looking and he had kind of shaved his beard, and he has those sharky eyes. 'The day he came out of prison, he had the full beard and looked like something from Castaway. ADVERTISEMENT 'It just added to the whole drama of everything when he walked free that day. He has differing styles and I don't think he has worn the beard since then. But he's an interesting character. 'The Monk interview was a mega success with our listeners. There are comedy sketches about him now. 'His voice is so funny. He shocks you in a funny way when he speaks. He does have a star quality: for a criminal, he does have some charisma. 'The Monk interview is the biggest that was ever broadcast in Ireland. If you look at the figures properly, they're up there with the Joe Rogan [podcast]. 'It's off the scale. On YouTube alone, before we hit the audio figures, there's about 1.4 million. You can double that for listeners.' Ms Tallant joined Kevin Dundon and Caoimhe Young in the Under the Grill kitchen to chat about her dad's roast chicken dinner. In Under the Grill, Ireland's best loved personalities choose a dish from their childhood and Kevin Dundon cooks it up in his kitchen alongside Caoimhe Young. Under the Grill is available to watch on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts.
