Why Kylie and Kendall Jenner snubbed half-brother Brody's wedding to Tia Blanco despite being on guest list

Daily Mail13 hours ago
Kylie Jenner and sister Kendall reportedly turned down their invitations to attend half-brother Brody's wedding to Tia Blanco over the weekend.
The lipkit mogul, 27, and the supermodel, 29, were noticeably absent when Brody, 41 — with whom they share the same father, Caitlyn Jenner, 75 — exchanged wows with the surfer, 28, during an intimate ceremony in Malibu on Saturday.
And now the reason for why the duo declined their invitations has been revealed.
There's no estrangement between the sisters and Brody, a source assured TMZ on Monday, before suggesting they might have skipped the event to 'keep the spotlight on the bride and groom.'
This isn't the first time the famous duo has skipped out on Brody's big moments.
He previously shared that Kylie and Kendall didn't even RSVP to his commitment ceremony in Bali with then-girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter in 2018.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Kylie and Kendall's representative for comment.
Though his half-siblings were not present, Brody had the support of brothers Brandon and Burt Jenner. Their father, Caitlyn, who transitioned from Bruce in April 2015, also attended but committed a major fashion faux pas.
Meanwhile Kendall and Kylie have been enjoying a girls' trip to Europe, with Kylie recently sharing snaps of them frolicking around Saint-Tropez and Tuscany.
The sisters did make time to attend Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's lavish Venice nuptials last month.
Brody's mom, Linda Thompson, announced the happy news of his marriage to her social media followers, sharing footage of the loved-up couple entering their reception to Natasha Bedingfield's hit single Unwritten. Linda captioned her post on Instagram: 'Mr. and Mrs. Jenner.'
The newlyweds exchanged vows in the back yard of Linda's sprawling house.
And Brody also shared plenty of videos and photos from the celebration to his Insta Stories.
Tia wore an off-the-shoulder lace gown and white veil for the wedding ceremony, while Brody donned a traditional black suit and tie for the special occasion.
'Best night marrying my best friend,' wrote Tia on Instagram.
Brody's brother Brandon performed on guitar when the pair walked down the aisle.
Though his half-siblings were not present, Brody had the support of Linda, dad Caitlyn Jenner — who transitioned from Bruce in April 2015 — and brothers Brandon and Burt Jenner; (L-R) Brandon, Caitlyn, Brody and Linda pictured in an Instagram snap

The athlete added, 'My dream backyard wedding came true last night. At home where honey was born. Reliving it over and over! So many thank yous to be said. Can't wait to share all the photos & videos soon.'
Images shared to social media show Brody kissing his beautiful bride after saying I do in front of an officiant.
Meanwhile Brody's dad Caitlyn committed a classic wedding faux pas and was spotted wearing an all-white gown to the ceremony in a video shared to social media.
The color white is traditionally only reserved for the bride or at times the entire bridal party if it's a white-themed affair.
Brody's father was married to Thompson from 1981 to 1986. Caitlyn and Thompson also share son Brandon, 44.
The former Olympian shares Burt, 46, and Cassandra Marino, 45, with first ex-wife, Chrystie Scott.
Caitlyn welcomed Kendall and Kylie with third ex-wife, Kris Jenner, 69.
Caitlyn has had a strained relationship with the boys over the years.
Earlier this year Brody shared that he got a 'real, sincere apology' from Caitlyn after he expressed feeling neglected during the Olympian's rise to fame with the Kardashians.
'It was the first time in my life that I've ever gotten an apology,' Brody shared on Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.
'You know, "I'm sorry for not being there."'
Caitlyn was married to Kris for 23 years, from 1991 to 2015, and was a step-parent to Kris's four children from her previous marriage: Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, and Rob Kardashian.
Brody has long had a rocky relationship with the Kardashians despite appearing on some episodes of their reality show.
Brody and Kim had a massive falling out when he was told he could not bring his then-new girlfriend Kaitlynn to Kim's wedding to Kanye West.
In return, the Kardashian brood weren't invited to his commitment ceremony in Bali that took place in 2018.
Brody's younger half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were invited, but according to the star, didn't even RSVP.
'My two little sisters, we never even heard from them. They never even RSVP'd I don't think … We sent them an invite but we never heard back. I would have loved to have had them there,' he told People at the time.
Brody's relatipnship with the Kardashian family has had it's ups and downs. April 2016 saw Brody completely isolate himself from his step siblings, when he was heard saying: 'They're not my f**king family,' after someone congratulated him on his family's (meaning the Kardashian-Jenner's) success.

$250 spin on a Vegas machine leads to $1 million jackpot for lucky player

A lucky winner walked away $1 million wealthier after snapping up a huge prize from a Las Vegas slot machine over the weekend. The unidentified player sat down at a Dragon Link slot machine at the Circa Resort & Casino and put down $250 on Saturday night to get the game rolling, the hotel said in a Facebook post on Sunday. The player then watched the lucky combination appear, instantly making them a millionaire. 'Last night, Dragon Link breathed fire [...] and left a million-dollar trail. '$250 spin to $1,082,545.37 win. The dragon's awake,' the casino wrote in the post. Users were quick to congratulate the mysterious winner on Facebook, and one person noted on the frequency of victories at the casino, stating, 'Wow, Circa has been paying out million-dollar jackpots like candy.' Another called out the high bet, writing: '$250 a spin? I have to look for that just to pay a bill!' Back in March, a lucky player, only identified as James, took home a jackpot worth $1,016,145.14 while playing on the Dollar Storm slot machine at the same casino, reported the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He only placed a $2 bet. On Reddit, users have speculated on the odds of winning a jackpot on a Dragon Train machine after one person claimed to have witnessed two winners just minutes apart from each other in another location. 'Last night I witnessed someone win a $21.3k grand jackpot of Dragon Train, then not even 1 minute later, the person two seats to their left won it too after it had only hit $15.04k (resets at $15.0k). Seriously, if anyone knows what are the odds of this even happening???,' the Reddit user wrote in January. According to Investopedia, playing slot machines represents some of the worst odds on the casino floor, with chances of winning the jackpot ranging from one in 5,000 to as much as one in 34,000,000. Nationwide, there is an increase in the number of people playing the slots. A June report from the American Gaming Association found that revenue from casino slot machines and table games increased by nearly two percent from the previous year. In April, traditional casino slot machines and table games generated $4.14 billion in revenue in the U.S. Slot machines alone contributed $3.06 billion – a 2.5 percent increase from April 2024 – and table games brought in $761.8 million – a figure that dropped revenue by two percent.

Hayley Atwell reveals what it was really like working with 'magnetic' Mission Impossible co-star Tom Cruise after bizarre romance rumours

Hayley Atwell has revealed what it was really like working with her 'magnetic' Mission Impossible co-star Tom Cruise after bizarre romance rumours previously circulated about the pair. The co-stars, who have worked together on the last two Mission: Impossible films, were widely thought to have been romantically involved prior to her relationship with and subsequent engagement to music producer Ned Wolfgang Kelly. The actress, 43, previously played down claims of a former romance with Cruise, admitting he was more like an 'uncle.' Cruise, 62, is now thought to be dating actress Ana de Armas with the pair being pictured together at various times this year. Speaking to HUNGER Magazine Hayley gushed about Tom saying he was a 'very magnetic movie star'. Hayley added that he was 'hard working and dedicated' saying he is the real star behind the Mission Impossible franchise as a whole. Speaking of his movie star quality she sweetly said: 'They don't make them like that anymore and they never will.' She has previously denied a romance with Cruise. 'Why are things being assumed or projected onto me about my relationship with my work colleague and boss?' she told The Independent. 'It's involving people in my actual life, my personal life, who have to be on the receiving end of that. It becomes invasive.' Hayley and Ned have kept their relationship away from the public eye and are rarely pictured together. Also during the HUNGER interview she spoke about becoming a mum in 2024 and filming Mission Impossible as well as continuing her theatre work. She said: 'I was juggling having physical changes in my body, having a child, while also doing a play live, and then going back to a franchise. 'And I think it shows that I have grown enormously as an individual.' Back in May Cruise and Hayley attended the New York premiere of Mission: Impossible 8 - The Final Reckoning where they appeared close. The long-term co-stars shared a moment together after joining cast and crew on the red carpet outside the city's Lincoln Center. Hayley appeared to squeeze Cruise's shoulder as they leaned in for a private exchange during the latest in a series of red carpet premieres that began on May 14 in Cannes. Cruise has been quietly linked in recent months to Cuban-Spanish beauty Ana, 37, with romance buzz first sparked just before Valentine's Day when the pair were spotted enjoying a private dinner. Fuel was added to the fire in April when Ana was seen traveling with Cruise in his private helicopter, with exclusive DailyMail photos capturing the megastar grinning from ear to ear as he flew them into London. And back in May, they stirred the pot even more, with Cruise publicly praised Ana's new film Ballerina, and she teased that the two are working on 'exciting' projects together. He made the comment to reporters at the premiere of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning in London. 'I saw the movie, it kicks a**,' Cruise said. 'Oh, man, it's right in that tone. It's right in that big world, and you're gonna love it.' Also back in May Hayley revealed the unusual Christmas gift Cruise once gave her, while praising her Mission: Impossible 8 co-star's generosity. Appearing on Heart Radio with Pandora Christie, Hayley opened up about their strong bond and her excitement for their film. Giving a peek into her off-screen bond with the Hollywood star, she shared that he's great when it comes to gift-giving. She said: 'He (Tom) did give my grandmother a lift in a helicopter on Christmas Eve at sunset a few years ago. And that was a great gift that he gave me.' 'Was that just a surprise? Did you know so had you planned it?' Pandora asked. Hayley explained: 'I knew but she didn't. And I took her to this heliport where there's café beside it, she didn't know, and I said, ''oh look there's a helipad out there.'' And she went ''oh you wouldn't get me on a helicopter, oh no, it's very dangerous''. 'And we were just having a cup of tea and then all of a sudden Tom Cruise walks round the corner and goes ''hi.'' 'And my grandma she was just amazing she goes ''hiya'' like she'd known him for years just 'hiya darling, you alright?' and gives him a big hug. 'And he goes ''are ready to go on a helicopter with me?'' and she just went ''yep!'' 'She puts down the walking stick, marches into the helicopter, sits down in the back and takes it all in. 'He was so kind and gentle and explained everything that was happening, what every feeling or sensation was, with a description of every sort of technical aspect of it. It was beautiful and so peaceful. 'And to be in the helicopter with her over London and seeing the city from that view and just seeing the look on her face and knowing that was a huge gift for me, I think. And what it meant for her was just a testament to how generous he is as a man.' 'You've got a friend for life there, you really have,' Pandora said before Hayley simply added: 'Yeah.'

Lizzie Cundy, 57, looks incredible in a busty one-shouldered swimsuit as she soaks up the sun ahead of son's wedding in Venice

Lizzie Cundy looked incredible as she soaked up the sun on a beach in Venice, Italy on Tuesday ahead of her son's wedding. The presenter, 57, wore a cream, busty, one-shouldered swimsuit while topping up her tan on a sun lounger. She pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and shielded her eyes with a pair of circular framed sunglasses. Sharing a series of photos to her Instagram, Lizzie wrote: 'A little chill time before the celebrations.' Lizzie's eldest son Josh, 29, is set to get married later this month in celebrity-hotspot Venice - aptly, just weeks after Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez said 'I do' in the Italian city. Lizzie also shares another son James, 26, from her marriage to former Chelsea player Jason Cundy, 55. Lizzie recently opened up about the realities of being a WAG in the noughties as she shared the 'lonely and isolating' reality of her split from her footballer ex. The TV star got married to the former Chelsea player Jason in 1994, after meeting at a nightclub in Richmond, London. Lizzie split from Jason in 2012 after discovering his affair with opera singer Hannah Pedley. Now, in a new BBC documentary titled Sex After Celebrity, Lizzie revealed the difficulties she faced with being in the public eye at the height of her fame. Reflecting on the period when her marriage split became public, she described it as the 'most awful time' in her life. She said: 'It was the most awful time when my marriage split up, not just because it was a marriage splitting up and family was being split up, it was because it was on the front page of the papers. 'There's a picture of me in a swimsuit, looking over my shoulder, and it was all about my marriage split, and I didn't even know about it myself. And it was the reaction of other people as well. 'Friends I knew didn't know what to say. The mums at school would cross the road from me because they were embarrassed.' She continued: 'They didn't really know what to say. So it actually became quite a lonely existence.' 'And not knowing who to trust, actually doubting friends, thinking, "Could they have put that story in?" or, you know, "I only told that person, so how did it get in?" 'And quizzing and questioning people that you've known a lifetime. So that side was awful.' Following the breakdown of her high-profile marriage, Lizzie found it hard to go back into the dating pool. She explained: 'It's difficult when you've been in a very high-profile relationship and then go into dating, because you have a trust issue. I certainly did. 'And I've actually been on a date where we're sitting there and I've seen him push his phone, and I thought, "I think you're recording me." Reflecting on the period when her marriage split became public, she described it as the 'most awful time' in her life 'So I just said it out, "Is your phone on? Are you recording?" And he just went, "Yeah..."' Fast forward to present day, the beauty has found a new lease of life for dating, as she described it was 'great now'. She went on to date England rugby player Danny Cipriani and has since enjoyed some other relationships out of the public eye. The TV star said: 'I am loving dating. I do long-distance relationships, which is fantastic. 'So, you know, you can send little naughty pics and you just keep it fresh. They're not there all the time, getting on your nerves. 'You know, guys are good for different things. You know, I used to have one guy and I'd think, "Oh, if only he was a little bit more fun and wanted to go out at night". 'I've got guys, you know, one likes football, one likes going out for dinner, one makes me laugh, one's good in bed, you know? Got it all. 'So that's what... I'm free. I love it, and I've never been happier.'
