Determine your calorie deficit
In her post, titled 'How I lost 7 kg with ChatGPT', Cristina gave a glimpse of what her body looked like 5 months ago. In the video, she 'showed exactly' how she used the AI-powered tool to help her her decide her breakfast, keeping her weight loss goals in mind.
She said, 'I just start my day with a voice note: 'Hey it is a new day, let's start with 1900 calories'. Then I say what I ate. Because I have been using it for a while, ChatGPT already knows the yoghurt I use, and the protein, fibre, calories it has. When I first started, I had to tell those things, but now ChatGPT remembers.'
Cristina added, 'Honestly, it made the whole process feel easy. No calorie counting in my head, no stress – and when I hit my number (daily calorie intake), I just stop. It never felt like a diet, and that is what made it work.'
Track your food intake
Cristina wrote in her caption, 'At first, ChatGPT helped me figure out my calorie deficit and maintenance level, because you will need a calorie deficit if you want to lose weight. But what really changed everything was using it for daily tracking. Instead of using complicated apps, I just sent a voice message to ChatGPT each morning: what I ate, how many calories I wanted to eat that day — and it did all the work.'
Sharing her experience, she added, 'In the beginning, I had to tell it the calories, protein, and fibre in the foods I use. Next time it remembered everything, so I was just telling it to add my yoghurt or my bread. It knew how many calories or protein are in that yoghurt or bread. I kept using the same chat, so it became faster and easier every day. The best part? I asked for everything in a table — so I could clearly see my calories, protein, and fibre at a glance. And if I was missing something, I'd just send a photo of my fridge and get suggestions. It made tracking simple, intuitive, and enjoyable. I eat intuitively, so I don't use it so often, but in the calorie deficit and first month of maintenance, it made all the difference.'

Elon Musk rules out merger but confirms Tesla investor vote on xAI investment

Tesla Inc. plans to poll shareholders on whether to invest in xAI, Elon Musk said after the Wall Street Journal reported SpaceX was prepared to funnel $2 billion into the Grok chatbot developer. The billionaire entrepreneur, responding to a post on X, said any decision to back the startup ultimately wasn't his to make. Musk asked X users publicly last year if Tesla should invest $5 billion in xAI, writing at the time that he was just testing the waters. But he said then that the EV maker's board and backers would need to green-light such a decision. Musk set up xAI in early 2023, months after OpenAI ushered in the AI boom with the launch of ChatGPT. It's since merged with the social media service X in a deal Musk said valued the AI startup at $80 billion and the social network company at $33 billion. That deal meant the X platform would come in handy to further distribute xAI products, while also providing a real-time feed of users' posts, screenshots and massive amounts of other data. Investments into xAI would help Grok better compete with OpenAI's ChatGPT by increasing capital toward research and development. The potential investments emerged as the combined entity xAI Holdings engages in talks to raise money at a valuation of as much as $200 billion, Bloomberg News has reported. They suggest Tesla's billionaire chief executive officer is seeking to more closely entwine the various parts of his corporate empire. This month, the CEO revealed Tesla will adopt Grok within vehicles — days after the bot posted antisemitic content on X. The integration suggests an expanded relationship between the two firms, something some Tesla investors have called for as EV sales have slumped. Tesla disclosed in April that xAI was a customer last year, with the startup incurring $198.3 million of expenses tied to commercial, consulting and support agreements with the carmaker. The bulk of that business — $191 million — involved xAI purchasing Tesla's utility-scale energy storage batteries, called Megapack. Responding to a user post on X asking Tesla investors if they supported a merger between the two companies, Musk on Monday replied "No." "If it was up to me, Tesla would have invested in xAI long ago," Musk had said on X, having previously signaled that close ties between the companies could help advance Tesla's autonomous-driving ambitions. Tesla had last week said it was planning to hold its annual shareholder meeting on November 6, setting the date a day after a group of 27 investors pushed for it, citing legal obligations. HCLTech Q1 results: Net profit drops 9.7% to Rs 3,843 crore; revenue rises 8.1% to Rs 30,349 crore

HCL Technologies on Monday reported a 9.7% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit for the first quarter of FY26 to Rs 3,843 crore, impacted by higher expenses and a one-time hit from a client bankruptcy. The company, however, raised the lower end of its revenue growth outlook for the full fiscal, citing a stable demand environment and expectations of stronger deal bookings in the coming quarters. The IT services major had posted a net profit of Rs 4,257 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to a regulatory filing. Revenue from operations rose 8.1% to Rs 30,349 crore, compared with Rs 28,057 crore in the same quarter of FY25, PTI reported. Growth was led by technology and services (13.7%), telecom and media (13%), retail and CPG (8.2%), and financial services (6.8%). 'We had healthy revenue growth of 3.7% YoY supported by good performance in our Services business with 4.5% YoY growth in constant currency. Our operating margin came at 16.3%, impacted by lower utilisation and additional Gen AI and GTM investments,' HCLTech CEO and MD C Vijayakumar said during the earnings call. He said the company's AI offerings are resonating well with clients and have been further strengthened through a partnership with OpenAI. The company is also investing in an AI-driven data lifecycle management platform, he added. The first quarter saw a 10.7% sequential fall in net profit, while revenue rose marginally by 0.3%. Total expenses grew 9.2%, driven by higher employee benefit costs, outsourcing and finance costs. Vijayakumar announced plans for a restructuring programme focused on 'both the people and non-people side,' aimed at improving structural agility in the AI era. The plan includes optimisation of unutilised facilities, mostly outside India, and talent ramp downs in some overseas geographies. 'On the restructuring program, our objective is to get back to our 18% to 19% margins. There will be incremental costs involved in achieving this. That is also the reason we have taken our guidance to be a little lower this year,' he explained. The company experienced a 20 basis point one-time impact due to a client bankruptcy during the quarter. In addition, a large financial services consolidation deal was not included in the Q1 total contract value (TCV), while two other large deals faced procedural delays and are now expected to reflect in Q2. Following a better-than-expected Q1 performance, HCLTech has revised its constant currency revenue growth guidance for FY26 to 3–5%, from the earlier 2–5%. 'The growth guidance is motivated by a better performance in Q1, and the company is optimistic of meeting the guidance, supported by superior revenue growth and positive booking expectations from the upcoming quarters,' Vijayakumar said. The company's headcount stood at 223,151 at the end of the quarter, down 269 employees sequentially. It added 1,984 freshers during the quarter. Chief People Officer Ram Sundarajan said fresher intake in Q2 will be significantly higher year-on-year and focused more on specialisation rather than volume. 'The percentage of freshers that we are now bringing on board through specialisation is gradually increasing,' he said, adding that elite cadre freshers in services earn up to three times the regular pay, and in software, up to four times. The company's board declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share for FY26. The record date for the dividend is July 18, 2025, and the payment date is July 28, 2025. Shares of HCLTech closed 1.04% lower at Rs 1,619.95 on the BSE. The Q1 results were announced after market hours. Source: Instagram/ Mark Zuckerberg Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook parent company Meta plans to invest 'hundreds of billions of dollars' in constructing several massive AI data centers . This commitment comes at a time when Meta is intensifying its pursuit of superintelligence, a technology aimed at developing machines that can outperform humans on most tasks. Lately, the social media giant has been actively involved in a talent war, reportedly offering multi-million-dollar compensation packages to attract top AI engineers from competitors like Google, Apple and ChatGPT-maker OpenAI. Zuckerberg announced this spending commitment in posts on Facebook and Threads, assuring investors that the company's strong core advertising business provides the necessary capital. 'We have the capital from our business to do this,' he stated, addressing concerns among tech investors about the substantial outlay and its potential returns. He also referenced a Semianalysis report, which suggested Meta is on track to be the first lab to bring online a 1-gigawatt-plus supercluster, a term for a massive data center designed for training advanced AI models.
