Actor Yogita Bihani, who appeared in the National Award-winning film The Kerala Story and Hrithik Roshan-starrer Vikram Vedha, is currently in the news for dating Archana Puran Singh's son, Aaryamann Sethi. She recently returned from Bengaluru, when she came across a mother-daughter duo who recognised her from Aaryamann's vlogs. While she was happy for her boyfriend's increasing fandom, she wasn't very convinced with the identity she was creating among people.
In Aaryamann's recent vlog, Yogita recalled an incident she experienced at the airport while waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up. She shared, 'When I landed, I headed to get my luggage. There was this mother-daughter duo who curiously asked me, 'Are you Yogita?' I was like, 'Yeah… hi…' Then they said, 'We saw you in Aary Vlogs.' Her mother was also like, 'She is the same girl right?' Then they clicked pictures with me. Then they told me, 'You two please continue to make vlogs, you look too good together.' Then I told them, 'Actually, even Aary was going to come here but because my flight landed early, he is yet to arrive.' They got disappointed that they missed an opportunity to meet you.'

Yogita added, 'Ten minutes after this incident, I realised this is the first time someone has spotted me and recognised me. That too for my appearance on Aary Vlogs. I have been working as an actor for so long, but nobody ever recognised me for that.' While she looked concerned, she said with a laugh, 'Acting se koi nahi pehchan raha mujhe, vlogging se pehchaan rahe hai sab log (Nobody is recognising me for my acting, they only know me for your vlogs).'
Yogita started her career as a television actress and has shared the screen with Karan Kundrra. In addition to The Kerala Story and Vikram Vedha, she also appeared in Vikramaditya Motwane's AK vs AK as the person behind the camera.

When Sudipto Sen recalled the pain that inspired 'The Kerala Story'; Survivors lived without food And power

In May 2023, The Kerala Story team—director Sudipto Sen , producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah , and lead actor Adah Sharma—held a press conference that offered a rare, moving insight into what inspired the making of the film. Three survivors of religious conversion, whose stories partly shaped the film's narrative, were also present at the event. Sudipto Sen spoke with quiet intensity as he revisited the first time he met them, years ago. 'The house was some kilometres away from Ernakulam,' he began. 'There was no electricity—disconnected. They survived without food and light for days. When they went to the market to buy vegetables, people would snatch their bags.' The imagery was stark. 'I remember, there was just a faint light coming from the gap between the doors. That moment stayed with me.' A chilling reality that birthed a bold story Sen met the survivors back in 2015–16, and the experience left a lasting mark. He saw firsthand how their lives had been ravaged by exploitation and fear, and how even the basic dignity of existence had been stripped away. 'You can understand how people misused their openness and left them in such a condition,' he said. Those interviews planted the seed for The Kerala Story—a film he believed needed to be told, no matter how difficult. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your donations can help this little boy see again clearly Donate For Health Donate Now Undo The film, which released on May 5, 2023, was both lauded and criticised for its bold take on the theme of radicalisation and religious conversion by terror outfits. Yet for Sen, it was never just a political narrative—it was a human one. A story of three women and one haunting truth The Kerala Story follows the traumatic journey of three women: one who was gang-raped after resisting conversion, one who ended her life after blackmail, and one, played by Adah Sharma , who was trafficked to Syria and made a sex slave. Meanwhile, there are several criticisms aimed at the film for the fact that the movie spread several inaccurate facts and was purposefully aimed at tarnishing the image of Kerala - The God's Own Country. The movie was also trolled for it's misrepresentation of a Malayali women and her lifestyle, where the director was said to be lacking a basic knowledge about the same. 'Aadujeevitham' National Award miss: Prithviraj Sukumaran says , 'That man's story reaching people was enough'

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) After 'Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life' failed to make it to the winners list at the 71st National Film Awards, fans of Prithviraj Sukumaran were visibly disappointed. Many expected the actor's intense and committed performance in the survival drama to earn national recognition. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared that awards were never the end goal. 'I wanted the film to work. I wanted people to like my performance, and most importantly, I wanted the world to know that man's story. All three happened,' he said. 'If I get a National Award, great; if I don't, congratulations to whoever gets it.' Fitness inspiration from Prithviraj Jury's decision sparks debate While the film received critical acclaim and connected with audiences, Aadujeevitham didn't make the final cut for the National Awards jury. Jury chairperson Ashutosh Gowariker reportedly felt the film lacked a natural flow and that Prithviraj's performance didn't come across as authentic. There are several criticisms aimed at 'The Kerala Story' win. Talking to On Manorama, the jury member and filmmaker Pradeep Nair added that, as a Malayali, he opposed the film's portrayal of Kerala, describing it as 'leaning towards propaganda.' The film's message remains its greatest victory 'The Goat Life', directed by Blessy, tells the harrowing true story of Najeeb, a migrant worker trapped in the desert under brutal conditions. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This new air conditioner cools down a room in just seconds News of the Discovery Undo It was a project close to Prithviraj's heart, one that required immense physical and emotional effort over years of production. As ETimes review puts it, "What to say about Prithviraj, except that he lives the character and is superb as Najeeb, who is completely lost and at wit's end in this unfamiliar region. Quite apart from the stunning body transformation, he brings the right mix of innocence and vulnerability to the role. The cinematography by Sunil KS and KU Mohanan give the film the feel of a masterpiece. The desert is stark under their gaze and adds to the emotions of the storytelling. AR Rahman's soulful music is already a hit on social media."
