The Delhi High Court has asked the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to revisit its digital policies and make its exam application portal more accessible for blind candidates. This came after a petition highlighted the difficulties faced by visually impaired individuals in uploading live photographs through face recognition, an essential step to apply for several government direction was issued by a bench led by Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela during a hearing on judges stressed that the current system places an unfair burden on blind candidates and must be made more inclusive. The case was filed by Santosh Kumar Rungta of the National Federation of the Blind. In the plea, he pointed out that exams such as the Combined Graduate Level (CGL), Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL), and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) for 2025 require candidates to upload live photographs via face for some blind candidates, this is not physically possible.'These candidates are being left out not because of merit, but because of a system that isn't built for them,' the plea argued. It called the current portal setup a violation of basic rights under the support his argument, the petitioner submitted 60 email complaints from visually impaired individuals who were unable to complete their applications due to the portal's design. The court directed the SSC to examine these emails and address the grievances mentioned.'We request the SSC to look into the grievances mentioned in these 60 emails. The larger issue raised in the petition will be examined in the context of future examinations,' the bench stated. It added that a long-term solution was necessary, but the current problems also needed quick court also directed SSC officials to meet with the petitioner and resolve these concerns in person. 'There are real issues that need to be resolved. In the future, be more mindful. Come with your plans for future exams,' the judges matter will now be heard again on November 12. The Staff Selection Commission has released the final exam results of Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2024. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check and download their results from the official website at SSC has declared the final results of Combined Hindi Translators Exam at A total of 272 candidates have provisionally qualified for appointment to various posts in different Ministry/ Departments/ Offices. the SSC notice informed. Also read: UPSC CAPF ACs exam admit card released, direct link The official notice reads, 'Allocation of Posts and Departments to the provisionally shortlisted candidates has been made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and the preference of Posts/ Departments submitted by them online.' It may be mentioned here that the result of Paper 1 was released on February 14, 2025, wherein a total of 2,146 candidates were shortlisted to take the Paper 2 exam conducted on March 29, 2025. Candidates who appeared in Paper 2 of the examination were asked to enter the option cum preference form from June 9 to June 14, 2025. The SSC stated that if a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the concerned allocated User Department within a period of six months from the declaration of final result, he/she must communicate immediately with the concerned User Department. Further it added that no correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities from the shortlisted candidates will be entertained under any circumstances.
