Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration launches a comprehensive study on the investment map in Africa

As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration's interest in the African continent and its contribution to opening new markets for Egyptian products in Africa, supporting the activity of Egyptian companies, and implementing development projects in various African countries, the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) has prepared a comprehensive study, the first of its kind, entitled "The Investment Map of the African Continent," which aims to inform the private sector and Egyptian businessmen of investment opportunities.
The study includes basic information on various African countries and the laws regulating investment therein, as well as the national institutions and bodies responsible for investment, thus contributing to supporting the private sector and Egyptian businessmen interested in investing in Africa.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration coordinates with various relevant national authorities to enhance the role of the Egyptian private sector, taking advantage of promising investment opportunities in various African markets, contributing to supporting African development aspirations and strengthening Egyptian-African relations.

Egypt's PM Inaugurates Jumia's Largest E-Commerce Logistics Hub

H-Tayea Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly inaugurated Jumia Egypt's largest e-commerce logistics warehouse, designed with cutting-edge technologies, in a move that underscores the growing strength of Egypt's digital economy and investment climate. Following the launch of the BSH Group's first home appliance factory in Egypt earlier the same day, Madbouly visited the new Jumia facility, accompanied by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, and Jumia Egypt CEO Abdel Latif Olama. Expressing his satisfaction, Madbouly praised Jumia's successful expansion in Egypt and highlighted the company's growing confidence in the Egyptian market. He emphasized that this investment reflects the broader trust global companies place in Egypt's improving investment environment. The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting digital transformation, logistics infrastructure development, and job creation, particularly within the digital economy and e-commerce sectors. For his part, Jumia Egypt CEO Abdel Latif Olama stressed the company's belief in digital economy growth as a key driver of Egypt's future. Sisi Directs Increasing Compensations Granted to Victims of Ashmoun Road Accident

H-Tayea President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives to the government to increase the value of compensations granted to the victims of the Ashmoun road accident in Menoufia governorate, allocating additional EGP 100,000 for each fatality and EGP 25,000 for each injured person, alongside the compensations already approved by the ministries of labor and social solidarity. Sisi also instructed the government to intensify efforts to maintain and repair roads, with a specific focus on the Regional Ring Road. He asserted the urgent need to complete ongoing repairs, ensure clear warning signs in areas under maintenance, and make route alterations visibly marked to prevent accidents.
