Sangoma arrested after remains of Boipatong toddler reportedly found
Sedibeng Ster reports that, according to sources close to the investigation, the gruesome discovery was made last night in Poortjie, just outside Sebokeng.
While police have not issued a formal response, sources say details of how the body was located remain tightly under wraps.
Kutlwano went missing in November last year when he was allegedly snatched from his mother's back by a group of men reported to be travelling in a grey VW Polo.
Kutlwano's ordeal sparked public outcry in Boipatong and countless social media pleas to help locate the missing baby.
While many sympathised with the mother following the news, hope turned into horror when she was arrested and charged with human trafficking, conspiracy to commit robbery, and making a false statement to the police.
The scandal deepened when investigators uncovered damning evidence showing that R75 000 was deposited into the mother's bank account on the day her son vanished.
The money was believed to be linked to the illegal sale of the toddler.
Now, in a shocking twist, a sangoma has been arrested in connection with the case.
Sources claim the sangoma may have played a sinister role in the child's disappearance, though authorities are still piecing together the puzzle.
Keneilwe Shalaba, the mother, remains behind bars after her bail application was denied in April.

KZN man sentenced to life in prison for raping his daughter
The Greytown Regional Court in KwaZulu-Natal has sentenced a 29-year-old man to life imprisonment for raping his eight-year-old daughter. To protect the child's identity, the man's name has not been disclosed. According to police spokesperson Constable Siyabonga Nkwanyana, the man arrived intoxicated at a home in March, where his daughter was staying with her aunt. He demanded to sleep in the same room as the child. The following morning, the aunt noticed the girl struggling to walk. When she asked what had happened, the child told her that her father had raped her. Police opened a rape case and assigned it to Sergeant Richard Gilden from the Greytown Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit. Officers arrested the man shortly after the report. Sgt Gilden led a thorough investigation and compiled strong evidence for the court. The man pleaded guilty, and the court sentenced him to life imprisonment. Umzinyathi District Commissioner Major-General Francis Slambert welcomed the ruling. He said the police remain committed to protecting vulnerable children and tackling gender-based violence. 'This life sentence sends a clear message,' Slambert said. 'We will continue to ensure that perpetrators of these heinous crimes face the full force of the law.' Burial halted after discovery of bones in blanket at Johannesburg cemetery
Burial halted after discovery of bones in blanket at Johannesburg cemetery A planned funeral for Kurt Edward's father, who passed away on June 29, took an unexpected and distressing turn after a troubling discovery was made at his late mother's gravesite in Westpark Cemetery. Northcliff Melville Times reports Edward had intended for his father to be laid to rest above his mother, who died in 2015. The burial was scheduled for July 4, however, on July 1, he received an urgent call from his sister, who had been contacted earlier by officials from Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) — the custodians of the cemetery. City Parks staff requested an immediate family presence at the grave after making a shocking find during preparations for the upcoming burial. Edward rushed to the site, where he was shown a white blanket lying within the grave, containing what appeared to be a small bone. Also on the blanket were a few decorative beads. The discovery immediately raised questions about what, or who, had been buried there. According to Edward, City Parks officials admitted they were uncertain about the nature of the find and sought his permission to investigate further. 'They said they couldn't proceed until they found the skull,' Edward explained. 'Without that, they can't determine whether it's human remains or something else.' So far, only two small bones have been recovered, and no skull has yet been located. Spokesperson of the JCPZ Jenny Moodley stated that the cemetery manager at Westpark Cemetery was alerted by ground staff during preparations to reopen a grave for a scheduled burial in the same plot where a family member was interred in 2015. 'During this process, what appears to be the remains of the individual buried in 2015 were encountered.' In line with JCPZ's standard protocols, the affected family was promptly informed. She concluded that all procedures followed were in accordance with cemetery management regulations and respectful burial practices.
