Police impound two vehicles hours apart from same driver
A 31-year-old Barrie man will reportedly face charges after having two separate vehicles impounded on the same day.
According to a post on X from OPP Central Region, Huronia West OPP officers conducted a traffic investigation in Wasaga Beach around 4:00 p.m. on July 5, that resulted in a man having his vehicle towed for stunt driving and his license suspended.
Later in the day after 11:00 p.m. Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to reports of a vehicle driving on Highway 93 without headlights.
Upon investigation officers discovered the man had already had his own car towed and was now driving a friends vehicle.
The vehicle was also impounded for 7 days and the driver faced more tickets and charges of driving under suspension and more.
The 31-year-old male will appear in court at a later date.
