Probably more a question of whether Wiltshire can deal with the Tumbler. Abby's up next: 'If I take the time-travelling DeLorean from Back to the Future , I can just keep going back in time to pick up all the cars I want. Easy.'
Want another smart answer? Here's what MJCGT500's father said: "In a world with rising sea levels, there's only one car for the job. Forward-thinking from 1977 means you can look suave in your Lotus Esprit, but a few buttons later you can find yourself in the comfort of your submarine cruising down Oxford Street." You might like
AllTorqueV8 has, predictably, gone V8: 'Right off the bat, the Ford Falcon XB/GT from Mad Max . That car is pure filth. I don't care if the supercharger doesn't activate at the pull of a lever; I'd want it in there for show. And with everything going electric, it would feel even more true saying it's the last of the V8 Interceptors. A piece of history..."
Siddarth G then commented: 'I'm surprised no one has picked Eleanor from the Nicolas Cage version. I know muscle car enthusiasts deride it, but I grew up on that movie, and it's a real childhood dream car.'

Know what else taps into those distant memories? Samarkand Tony's option: 'Herbie. A self-driving car that's not just a few driver aids and a load of marketing. That or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.'
This week's final entry comes from N328KF, who said: 'The Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre is my all-time favourite. The design foreshadows the current Vantage, but leans more toward elegance than anger. It's a shame a design that gorgeous didn't make production, but at least the Vantage has some of its DNA.'

Leonardo DiCaprio makes low-profile appearance at Lauren Sanchez's Paris dinner party in a hat and face mask

Leonardo DiCaprio tried his best to keep a low-profile while exiting Jeff Bezos ' new wife Lauren Sanchez 's dinner party in Paris, France this week. The sighting comes less than two weeks after the Oscar-winner, 50, was branded a 'hypocrite' for attending the billionaire couple's $20million Italian nuptials. DiCaprio was brutally mocked online for seemingly trying to 'hide' from cameras during the three-day wedding by wearing a hat low down over his eyes and nose. And the Titanic star pulled a similar stunt on Tuesday night as he was photographed leaving the upscale Laperouse restaurant. Dressed in a casual all-black outfit, DiCaprio's famous face was barely visible behind an N95 and a black baseball cap, which he pulled down to cover his eyes. Excited fans watched as the actor was escorted to a nearby SUV by a well-dressed bodyguard. Missing from DiCaprio's side was his 27-year-old model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, who was his plus one to Sanchez and Bezos' controversial wedding. DiCaprio left shortly before dinner party host Sanchez, who wowed paparazzi in a busty red latex dress by Versace. The new Mrs. Bezos, 55, finished off the look with her hair sleek and straight, and carried a black crocodile Hermès Kelly bag, which typically has a resale value of over $50,000. Also in attendance was Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Brooks Nader. The runway maven, 28, looked equally as glamorous for Sanchez's get together in a totally sheer black halter blouse that left very little to the imagination and a pair of black capri pants. The dinner coincides with the start of Paris Fashion Week, which runs from July 7 to the 10. It also marked what appeared to be the first sighting of Sanchez since she and Amazon founder Bezos, 61, tied the knot in Venice, Italy last month. The luxe event, which not only featured their actual wedding but multiple themed parties and brunches, saw them surrounded by 200 friends and family, including DiCaprio and Brooks. A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Ivanka Trump, and Kris Jenner were in attendance, as well as Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. According to The Guardian, over 90 jets flew into the airport in the romantic city. Ellie Goulding performed at their reception, while R&B superstar Usher sang at their pajama-themed brunch the next day. The happy couple got married in a restored amphitheater on the island, as Sánchez wore a high-neck, long sleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana gown that took over 900 hours of atelier to make, as per Vogue. However, the nuptials were met with fierce backlash by locals who gathered in St Mark's Square, the iconic heart of Venice, to protest during the three-day event. There were criticisms regarding over-tourism, how much Bezos pays in taxes and his environmental impact. Being that DiCaprio prides himself on being an environmentalist and climate activist, fans were shocked to learn that he was among the Bezos wedding attendees. Photos of him wearing his low baseball cap and tuxedo as he hopped aboard a water taxi quickly went viral as fans roasted his bizarre wedding look. 'Leo trying to hide because he's embarrassed to been seen there or what?' one person penned. 'What a sellout. Youre a climate activist you say, Leo? 'Leonardo DiCaprio we can still see you…,' another added. Calling out the star's 'hypocrisy,' one fan tweeted out: 'Leo has great advice which he doesn't follow himself. I'm sure there's a word for that...' However, some social media users came to DiCaprio's defense as they tried to explain his unique style choices. 'He dresses like that pretty much all the time unless he's doing a big event or publicity, I think he doesn't want to be recognized/approached by the general public which honestly I would do the same if I happened to be famous,' one fan speculated, before adding: 'Gross of him to go to this regardless tho.' DiCaprio faced further backlash in the days following the wedding as he leaned back into his environmentalist work after partying it up with some of the wealthiest people in the world. Taking to Instagram, the star posted an update about a Chilean island called Guafo which is 'now protected.' Along with sharing a picture of the island, Leonardo explained that it has been purchased by a private owner - which will now keep it 'protected from coal mining, timber logging and other destructive industries.' The area will also become a national park and the star further penned that Guafo Island is 'critical to global biodiversity and the overall health of our planet.' reached out to DiCaprio's rep for comment but never heard back. DiCaprio added that the island houses 'breeding populations of seabirds' and also 'boasts Magellanic Penguins and a breeding population of Endangered Marine Otters...' He has previously been open about his activism and a few months earlier in March, he slammed the Albanese government for giving the green light to a mine expansion in Western Australia. Over on Reddit, social media users called out DiCaprio for being a 'hypocrite' after he had flown to Italy just days prior for the Bezos-Sanchez wedding and slammed him for supporting Bezos amid Amazon's substantial carbon footprint. One penned, 'Leo is a great actor but I never believed that nonsense about him caring about the environment.' Another wrote, 'Because he's a hypocrite. He wants us to believe that he's environmentally frugal so that he can fly his private jets and use his private yachts. Leonardo DiCaprio has always been a hypocrite and a phony. 'Anyone who uses a private jet and a private yacht everywhere they go does not care about the environment. He wants us to limit our usage so he can continue with his extravagance,' they added. A fan also shared, 'Wealthy/famous people like this assume their influence on others outweighs the damages they cause personally. As if they are carbon neutral on the backs of others personal sacrifices.' 'Wow. But he's always been a hypocrite about environmentalism,' one additionally penned. Another typed, 'The way any good done by one person recycling for a year is undone by a private jet flight (of which many were probably taken to get to this d**n wadding) makes me feel so cynical and jaded tbh.' It is not known if DiCaprio took a private jet to the Bezos-Sanchez wedding. DiCaprio has often been vocal about the environment and climate change. Late last year, he notably presented the 2024 Hilton Humanitarian Prize to Amazon Frontlines during a glitzy event. And ahead of his 50th birthday, the star also completed renovations on his eco-friendly compound in the Hollywood Hills. He has also launched his own foundation due to the 'planetary crisis' which is described as 'a convergence of accelerating climate change, unprecedented loss of biodiversity, and increasing human health issues caused by a toxic environment,' per the official website. Back in 2022, the Oscar winner reflected on the effect of climate change during an interview with Deadline. 'I've had two great passions in my life. That has been acting, and the protection of the natural world and getting the message out about the climate crisis. I've had a foundation for 20 years.' He later added, 'I think there's a worldwide sense of anxiety about the fact that the powers that be, the private sector, governments, are not making the transition fast enough. We literally have a nine-year window.' While the star is known for his advocacy for the environment, he has also been called out in the past as well. Earlier this year in January, both he and his supermodel girlfriend flew on a private jet to Mexico amid the deadly Los Angeles wildfires.

Disgruntled ex-employee's fury after boss sends him an outrageous text request

A fired employee has sparked a humorous debate after exposing a shameless request from his former boss. The text message seemed genuine and polite, however it has transpired that this particular manager was asking the man to come back and train his own replacement just days after being let go. In a now-viral TikTok video, British career expert Ben Askins shared the shocking text message exchange that left thousands of viewers gobsmacked, with many dubbing the boss's request 'delusional' and 'ridiculous.' The clip, which has amassed more than 175,000 views, shows the boss pleading with the sacked staffer to return and train the new hire on the company's ticketing system. Outrageously, he was offering nothing more than a coffee in exchange. 'This boss was really pushing his luck!' Ben captioned the video. 'Situations like this can be easily avoided,' after he too seemed shocked by the lack of regard the boss had for the ex-worker. 'Hey, I know this probably isn't the best time to ask, but we're struggling with the new ticketing process. Is there any chance you could come in and run the new guy through it?' the employer messaged over text. To which the disgruntled ex-employee clapped back: 'Are you having a laugh? You fired me last week?' Lacking any regard for their feelings the employee replied: 'I know, but I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. It shouldn't take you long. I know this is awkward, I promise you will get a coffee for the favour.' In the video, Ben chimed in adding his own opinion on the matter, joking that a mere coffee for his time was 'quite alright, then,' as he laughed. Surprisingly, the ex-employee replied with an olive branch to help, but felt remuneration was only fair for his time: 'I will do it. But I want it to be a remote tutorial, and I will charge you for half a day.' 'Remote is fine, but half a day's pay? This will only take a few minutes?' the employer replied, clearly surprised at the request. 'That is the deal.' Begrudgingly his terms were met, but not without a small dig at his audaciousness of actually being remunerated for his time and effort: 'Fine, but I am disappointed this is the way you are playing this,' the boss replied. Ben, who frequently posts career advice and work-related scenarios, was stunned by the entitlement on display. 'Firstly, let's be very clear,' he said. He does not have to do this favour. So the fact that he's charging is completely okay. 'He's giving up his time. He really doesn't have to do it, so the idea that this boss doesn't think he should pay is absolutely ridiculous.' He continued by saying that the text exchanges was 'a good example of why companies need proper training guides and onboarding processes - so you don't end up in situations like this.' Hundreds of Ben's viewers weighed in on the text exchange too, and they didn't hold back. The comments under the video lit up with support for the ex-employee, with many saying he should've asked for far more than just half a day's pay. 'Half a day? I'd charge them my consultancy fee and it would be astronomical,' one user wrote. 'I wouldn't even answer the message,' said another. 'At this point he's not under contract, he's a consultant. He can charge what he wants.' 'I'd reply two words and the second word would be 'off,' joked one. 'Half a days pay? He doesn't work there no more so his days pay is zero and half of 0 is 0.' While some users said they would've hung up or blocked the boss altogether, others applauded the ex-employee's cool-headed professionalism, particularly for negotiating remote work and payment. The viral saga has become a cautionary tale for workers everywhere, especially in industries where employees are often expected to go above and beyond, even after being let go, it seems.

Can I change my car's wheel if I've lost the locking wheel nut key?

Q. Can I change my car's wheel if I've lost my locking wheel nut key? If not, what should I do if I get stranded at the roadside?S L-B, Bridport A. Locking wheel nuts aren't usually part of the manufacturer's original equipment. As a rule in the UK, they are fitted during the vehicle's pre-delivery preparation as a measure to combat alloy wheel and tyre theft, a problem that used to be widespread in Britain. A car left on bricks with its wheels missing was once a relatively common sight, but this practice has been all but stamped out since the introduction of wheel security devices. In fact, they are so effective that when the supplied removal device, or 'key', is misplaced, it can become a real challenge to get the wheels off. • Car Clinic: Help! The battery in my electric car is flat and I'm locked out All AA patrols are equipped with and trained to use specialist locking-wheel-nut removal tools. These kits contain a number of different fittings to get around the security devices, but it's a skilled job that takes time to master and execute at the roadside. It also usually results in irreparable damage to the locking nuts or devices. This is why we urge all drivers to check before a journey they have their locking wheel nut keys stored safely in their cars. • Car Clinic: Does a car's colour affect its resale value? There's another issue. While one of our patrols will endeavour to remove the locking device, carrying out that operation on the hard shoulder of a motorway or a busy A-road isn't usually possible, so the first course of action would be a recovery to a safe location, adding delay to the whole process. Car Clinic: How can I tell how old my tyres are? My advice, if you know you've lost your wheel nut key, is to visit a reputable garage or tyre retailer to have the locking devices professionally removed and replaced with new ones, complete with the removal tool or key. New security kits usually come with two keys, so you can keep one in the car and the spare at Carter, technical expert, the AA Post your motoring questions below or send to carclinic@
