Ruth Langsford enjoys a girls' night out with Amanda Holden and Lucy Alexander in London as she shakes off Eamonn Holmes divorce battle

Daily Mail25-05-2025
Ruth Langsford let her hair down on Saturday night as she enjoyed a girls' night out at the Britain's Got Talent semi-final at the Apollo theatre in Hammersmith, London.
The Loose Women star, 65, ditched her wedding ring for the night out after it was revealed that she has reportedly taken legal action to ensure her estranged husband, Eamonn Holmes, will not receive her share of their £3.6 million marital home.
Ruth shared a glimpse into her glamorous night out on Instagram as she posed for photos in a stylish black blazer, which boasted a floral beaded collar.
She layered the number over a fitted matching top and a pair of smart skinny trousers.
The presenter elevated her frame in a pair of towering silver heels and toted her belongings in a matching clutch, all from her personalised QVC range.
Ruth was in good spirits as she beamed for photos outside the theatre before heading into with her friend Lucy Alexander, who is best known as the host of Homes Under the Hammer.
Also in tow for her fun night out was her son Jack, whom she shares with former husband Eamonn.

Ruth later shared a video of her dancing and singing along in the audience to pop group Steps as they performed during the ITV show.
She declared that she was 'loving life' and that the group's energetic show was 'fantastic'.
After the show, Ruth popped down to the judges' table to pose for photos with Amanda Holden and her 'new BFF' KSI.
Last year, Ruth and Eamonn stunned fans when news broke in May that they had separated after 14 years of marriage and were heading for divorce.
Following the split, Eamonn moved out of their six-bedroom home in Weybridge, Surrey, which the couple bought in 2014.
Now, in a fresh development, The Sun has reported that Ruth has been granted a severance of joint tenancy on the property.
The publication said that public documents state that if Ruth were to pass away, her share of the house would not go to GB News host Eamonn.
Sarah Dwight, of the Law Society, told the outlet: 'One of the first things divorce lawyers do is to give their clients the option to sever the joint tenancy, so they can leave their share of the house to whoever they want.

'This move protects Ruth in that if she were to die, she can leave her wealth to whoever she wants, rather than Eamonn getting everything.'
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Ruth and Eamonn for comment.
The news comes after Ruth finally ditched her wedding ring almost a year after announcing her split from Eamonn.
The beloved TV presenter has resolutely kept her wedding and engagement rings on, even once declaring to a fan that she wouldn't remove them 'because I am still married.'
On a recent episode of her ITV show Loose Women though, Ruth revealed the rings were off.
Eamonn has been wearing his ring since the split, despite striking up a romance with new girlfriend Katie Alexander, 43.
The marriage counsellor had been helping him through his split, but her friends say they only grew close once the marriage was over.
Ruth meanwhile has been enjoying the single life, recently jetting off for a girls' getaway for her 65th birthday.
Eamonn's new relationship appears to have hit a stumbling block though as The Mail On Sunday has revealed that Katie is refusing to move in with Eamonn, who is 22 years her senior.
She has decided to remain in her native Yorkshire, where she co-parents her two teenage children with her ex-husband.
It means she won't be setting up home with GB News presenter Eamonn, 65, at his penthouse flat in Kingston, south-west London, where he settled after moving out of the home he shared with his ex-wife.

West Ham fans fume as club confirm signing of their former bogeyman who mocked their Conference League triumph

West Ham announced a new singing on Saturday and it hasn't gone down well with some sections of their fanbase. The club announced that striker Callum Wilson has agreed a one-year deal after his contract at Newcastle expired. The 33-year-old endured an injury-ridden campaign at Newcastle last season, starting just two Premier League games and scoring one goal in all competitions. But he has been more prolific in the past with 49 goals in 130 games for the Magpies and 67 in 187 appearances for Bournemouth prior to that. He's scored 12 goals in 16 games against the Hammers, more than he has against any other club, earning a reputation as somewhat of a bogeyman. That isn't the main issue supporters have, however, with Wilson having made some comments that have angered them in the past. He once scored a goal against them with his hand and went on to describe it as a 'tough of magic.' Wilson also compared West Ham's Europa Conference League win to winning a trophy on FIFA. Responding to the announcement of the signing, one fan wrote: 'delighted to welcome Wilson - a man who mocked our European trophy, said Michail Antonio would never play CL, and made a career out of scoring against us. Truly the West Ham way. Another said: You know Callum that most Hammers were against you signing, for a number of reasons, including the times when you have dissed the club over the years. 'A chance for you to put things right. Put in the hard yards and effort and play for the badge and you will find that we can be supportive. Another posted on X: 'He spent most of his career taking digs at our club and fanbase, so this doesn't surprise me, who could forget when he handballed a late equaliser for Bournemouth against us and laughed and joked about it in front of the cameras afterwards called it 'a touch of magic' didn't he? Speaking on his move, Wilson said: 'I'm excited to be joining a massive Football Club like West Ham. 'A Club that shares a similar passion to mine, hard work, dedication and also I strive for success so I'm glad to be a part of it. 'I'm looking forward to the challenge. There's such talent within the squad. And obviously the gaffer's come in now, he's making everybody a team - all working in the same direction to achieve the goal which is to be finishing as high as possible in the league and it's what the fans deserve, what the team deserve and it's what the squad quality deserves too.'

Spice Girl Mel B celebrates marriage with ‘spiritual' ceremony in Morocco

It comes after the 50-year-old, whose real name is Melanie Brown, married hairdresser Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in July, having announced their engagement in October 2022. In a post on Instagram, Brown said: 'We got married, again! 'A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fave place at @selmanmarrakech we had the time of our lives.' A post shared by 'scary spice Mel B' (@officialmelb) The singer wore a red dress with crystals and bugle beads made in a collaboration between Evelie Bridal and wedding dress designer Justin Alexander at the ceremony at the Selman Hotel on Saturday. Her choice of dress was guided by Caroline Black from London-based Evelie Bridal, who aimed to reflect her life in the US, where she is a judge on America's Got Talent. Black told the PA news agency: 'For Mel's Morocco wedding dress, we focused on trying Justin Alexander gowns with a little extra sparkle. 'Mel loved the idea of a red dress — something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer — but it also had to feel light and easy to move in. 'We drew inspiration from a variety of dresses she tried on at Evelie South Kensington, then went back and forth brainstorming with Justin Alexander and his design team. 'After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn't, and the final result was beautiful. 'Mel had such a strong sense of what she wanted — it was a joy working with her and Justin Alexander to bring her vision to life.' The dress required a team of six artisans and took more than 850 hours to complete. Her husband wore an Alexander McQueen outfit featuring a white shirt and jacket with black trousers and shoes. The London wedding saw Brown joined by guests including bandmate Emma Bunton, model Daisy Lowe, and comedians Tom Allen and Katherine Ryan. The singer was previously married to Stephen Belafonte until she filed for divorce in 2017 following allegations of abuse. They have a daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte. Brown also has two daughters, Phoenix Chi Gulzar and Angel Iris Murphy Brown, from two previous relationships. With the Spice Girls, the singer had nine UK number one singles and two UK number one albums. The group was best known for songs such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Who Do You Think You Are?.
