Actor Avika Gor recently announced her engagement to Milind Chandwani, sharing glimpses of their intimate ceremony on social media along with a heartfelt caption.
Chandwani, an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad, began his career at the Indian tech giant Infosys and later founded the NGO Campus Diaries, which focuses on supporting underprivileged children.
In a post on X, Gor wrote, "He asked.. I smiled, I cried (in that order 🙈)…and screamed the easiest YES of my life! I'm full filmy — background score, slow-mo dreams, mascara running and all. He's logic, calm, and 'let's carry a first-aid kit just in case.'
'I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… Fit. So when he asked, the heroine in me took over — arms in the air, tears in my eyes, and zero network in my brain. Because real love? It may not always be perfect. But, It. Is. Magical,' she added.
Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani first crossed paths in Hyderabad in 2020 through mutual friends and have been in a relationship for nearly five years. Gor has often playfully remarked that she was "married to him in (her) head" long before their feelings became mutual.
Milind Chandwani is an engineer-turned-philanthropist. After graduating from Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore, he began his career as a Software Engineer at Infosys, according to a report by Republic. However, he left the corporate world to work with non-profits like Teach For India and iTeach Schools, focusing on education and welfare for marginalized communities.
Currently, he serves as the CEO of Camp Diaries, an NGO that provides educational opportunities to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Milind also gained public praise through his appearance on MTV Roadies Season 17, where he was a member of Neha Dhupia's gang. Though he didn't reach the finale, his performance and personality resonated with both the audience and the show's mentors, earning him a strong youth following.
Widely known for her roles in television, Gor rose to fame with Balika Vadhu and Sasural Simar Ka. She later transitioned to films, starring in Vikram Bhatt's 1920: Horrors of the Heart (2023) and Bloody Ishq (2024). Most recently, she appeared in the Telugu crime thriller Shanmukha (2025).
A couple of days ago, actor Hina Khan, who will also be seen in COLORS' reality TV show, tied the knot with boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal.
I manifest drama. He manages it. And somehow, we just… Fit.
Announcing their sacred union, Hina and Rocky in a joint Instagram post wrote, 'From two different worlds, we built a universe of love. Our differences faded, our hearts aligned, creating a bond to last lifetimes. We are our home, our light, our hope and together, we transcend all barriers. Today, our union is forever sealed in love and law. We seek your Blessings and Wishes as Wife and Husband.'

Not just humans, dogs too stretch & wag tails in unique yoga session

1 2 Nagpur: Yoga mats were rolled out, not only for people but also for their puppies. On Sunday, a cosy cafe in the city turned into a wellness retreat for a dog yoga session, blending movement, mental calm, and wagging tails! The event drew in participants across age groups, including content creators, students, professionals and even those scared of dogs. "I am scared of dogs, but these pups are so cute. I feel refreshed after the session," said Palak Ahuja, one of the attendees. The session began with light yoga asanas led by a certified instructor and ended with a wholesome cuddle session with puppies brought in by a local animal welfare NGO, DayOff. The event didn't just aim to ease stress; it also carried a cause, raising awareness around the adoption of Indian breed dogs, who are often overlooked in favour of pedigrees. NGO founders, Gunjyot Tuli (19), Arshpreet Puri (18), and Vishakha Adtani (19) said the idea was to provide relief for stressed-out minds. "Everyone's always hustling. Even one hour of peace, movement, and puppy love can refresh someone's mood. That's a win for us," Gunjyot said. Though there were no adoptions of puppies this time, the event sparked conversations. The NGO even offered support to those unsure about long-term commitment, promising that if things don't work out, the dogs could be returned safely instead of being abandoned."We just want to normalise the idea of doing something that feels good without guilt," said Vishakha. "Everyone is stressed: housewives, kids, working adults. Puppies aren't just cute, they're little bursts of serotonin." First-timers Ria Kriplani and Shivani Patil agreed. "We had such a great time. Yoga was so much fun!" "We wanted people to leave with a full heart, and they did," said Arshpreet. With wellness experiences like sound baths and mindful workshops next in the pipeline, DayOff is quietly shaping a new kind of morning culture in Nagpur, one that includes dogs, deep breaths, and doing absolutely nothing for an hour without feeling bad about it.

India's highest-grosser of 2025: Only film to cross ₹250 cr mark so far, ran 50+ days with 24-hour shows in theatres

2025 began with chatter around a dull phase for the Indian film industry, as several star-studded films featuring the likes of Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan, Ram Charan, Kangana Ranaut, and Shahid Kapoor failed to pull audiences to theatres. However, defying those predictions, a new report reveals that the Indian box office collected a staggering ₹ 5,723 crore in the first half of 2025, marking a 14% year-on-year growth. While several underdog films emerged as surprise hits at the ticket window, one film stands out as the highest-grossing Indian film of the year so far — Chhaava. This film, despite being mired in controversy, continued its theatrical run for nearly two months. Its success was so massive that the Hindi film was eventually dubbed and released in Telugu as well. It also had 24-hour running shows owing to its demand among the audience. India's highest-grosser of 2025 so far is Chhaava. Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. It also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. The film is based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire. According to the latest India Box Office Report: Jan–Jun 2025 by Ormax Media, Chhaava emerged as the winner of this year at the box office, earning ₹ 693 crore. In total, 17 films crossed the ₹ 100 crore mark at the Indian box office between January and June this year. However, Chhaava is the only film to cross the ₹ 250 crore mark within the timeline. Coming in next on the list is the Telugu-language film Sankranthiki Vasthunam, headlined by Daggubati Venkatesh, which recorded impressive nationwide earnings of ₹ 222 crore. Sitaare Zameen Par ( ₹ 201 crore) Housefull 5 ( ₹ 200 crore) Good Bad Ugly ( ₹ 183 crore) Game Changer ( ₹ 153 crore) L2: Empuraan ( ₹ 126 crore) June alone added over ₹ 900 crore to the year's box office total. 'The cumulative box office for Jan–Jun releases stands at ₹ 5,723 crore, which is 14 per cent higher than the same period in 2024 and just ₹ 12 crore short of the 2022 record for Jan–Jun box office,' the report mentioned. Coming to the success of Chhaava, the Vicky Kaushal film released on February 14, 2025. The film continued to run in theatres until March 21, 2025, marking its 36th day. As per multiple reports, the film held 24-hour screenings in Maharashtra due to high demand. Reportedly, 6 am and midnight shows were added for the film right after its release, recording about 97% occupancy. A little less than a month after its release, Chhaava also released a Telugu dubbed version in theatres to keep up with the demand. Later, the film made its OTT debut on Netflix on April 11.
