Sadly we can't give you three extra hours. But we can present to you an apple slicer.
1. A mini waffle maker that is not only sweet but — more importantly — will get breakfast on the table very, very quickly. Make a few extra and put them in your kiddo's snack bag for later!
amazon.com
Promising review: "The mini size of this waffle maker is what makes it easy to use, store, clean, and create many recipes effortlessly. It's a no-mess waffle maker because all you need is to pour the batter. Once the maker is ready, you wait until it's done. A crispy/crunchy/munchy treat that's ready to devour. No fuss of too many settings, buttons, or learning whatsoever! This is as easy as it can be. Such a good quality, durable, versatile product at a reasonable price. Worth every penny!" — An average human.
Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in 19 colors and styles).
2. A wooden Melissa & Doug magnetic daily calendar you might even be able to use to convince your kids that they do, indeed, need a jacket, and no, it's not shorts weather. Time saver!
amazon.com
3. An over-the-door weekly clothes organizer so you can avoid the "I have nothing to wear" meltdown 15 minutes before the bus comes. Come to think of it, ordering one for yourself might not be the worst idea...
m.media-amazon.com, amazon.com
Promising review:"My son started kindergarten, and this is a big help for my husband and me. It's so nice having one less thing to stress about in the morning. It also helps my son to recognize the days of the week and how many days we have left. The sleeves are a good size for smaller clothing, pockets seem pretty durable. I had some issues with the door it was hanging on closing, but I then moved it. Easy to use and a good value." — Deanna
Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in two colors).
4. An alarm clock that lets your little know when it's okay to get out of bed *and* has an alarm if they need waking up. With such a cute little clock face, you know at least someone will be smiling in the morning!
Promising review: 'Outstanding investment! We absolutely LOVE our Mella! I bought this for my 7-year-old son to teach him how to be responsible in the mornings and manage his time to get ready for school, and I could not be more pleased with this precious clock! He loves it; it has a pleasing sound, the light is not too bright, and it makes a perfect night-light. We also adore the sweet little face on it!' — Shawn or James Northcutt
Get it from Amazon for $49.99 (available in four colors).
5. A cereal dispenser so your older kiddos can start serving themselves breakfast in the morning. That's one thing off your plate. (Or should we say, out of your bowl?) It's practical, fun, and promotes independence.
amazon.com
Promising review:"I've been thinking about creating a snack/breakfast corner for the kids and this seemed like the perfect addition...it definitely was. The quality of the product is really good and sturdy. It is extremely easy to assemble. Super easy for the kids to use. It has a lid on the bottom to ensure the cereal stays fresh and, just in case you're wondering, it fits an 8.9-ounce box of cereal, and there's still space for more." — Genius Idea
Get a set of two from Amazon for $22.99.
6. A grape cutter that will save you time and give you peace of mind as you're frantically putting together lunches and snacks. No judging if you find yourself cutting grapes (and berries, olives, and cherry tomatoes) for yourself later... it's a fun little tool to use.
amazon.com
Promising review: 'My son's grapes have to be cut for school and it was such a pain using a knife to cut them. This cutter is such a time saver when getting his lunch ready. I also use it to cut grape tomatoes for my salads! It comes apart so you can clean it — still a little difficult at times to get it clean, but I don't mind if it saves me time cutting all those grapes!' — Little nurse Lo
Get it from Amazon for $11.99 (available in two colors).
7. A kid-friendly Sonicare electric toothbrush with a timer (and a very motivating app!) so that when you ask if they've brushed their teeth, you can know for sure that those pearly whites got a proper scrubbing.
Promising review:"Not only do my 7-year-old's teeth look so much cleaner than they did when he was brushing them without an electric toothbrush, but he really looks forward to brushing and is motivated to brush twice a day!!! As a mom, this is very exciting. No more excuses from him since he uses the toothbrush app, gets to brush along with his fuzzy cute friend and earn virtual prizes. Wow! I do need to give him an extra minute before school and bed to brush along with his app, but it is more than worth it!!! Thank you!" — kristen
Get it from Amazon for $29.96+ (available in four designs).
8. An Apple AirTag that you can slip into a backpack and ping when you can't find it. (Is it in the car? Their room? Gah!) You can also put it in a beloved but often misplaced stuffie — really anything that is absolutely essential to moving your day along.
9. A bottle of this fantastic conditioning detangler from the Honest Company, so doing hair isn't the thing that puts a tangle in your morning routine. I love the way it smells, and it makes brushing my daughter's long hair nice and easy!
amazon.com
Promising review:"This stuff is great. I wish it came in a much bigger bottle because it works so well on my daughter's super-fine hair. It has a nice, light scent, doesn't leave residue on her hair, and makes getting her hair ready for school much less of a battle." — Jessica M.C.
Get it from Amazon for $6.99 (available in three scents).
10. A colorful timer that will give everyone a visual reminder of how much (or how little!) time they have to get those teeth brushed and shoes on. Start using this and hopefully, everything will be sunshine and rainbows!
amazon.com
Promising review:"My toddler was struggling with transitions from one activity to another, so we got this little timer. She loves it because it's cute, and now we transition easily. When she hears the beep, she says, 'That's the timer,' and moves on from what she's doing. I'm honestly amazed at how well it works. It's small but mighty and easy to carry around the house with us!" — Kimberly S

11. A snack bag with a built-in ice pack so you can ensure their food stays nice and cool without adding extra bulk to the backpack. We have these and use them all the time, even on the weekend for day trips!
Promising review: " 10/10 recommend! I put yogurt, fruit, apple sauce, and whatever else I want. I did a five-hour test at home before I sent it with the kids to school, and it passed my five-hour test. At the five-hour mark, everything was still refrigerator-cold! Give it a try, you won't regret it." — Kim Stewart
Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (available in eight patterns).
12. An apple slicer (it creates 16 perfect slices!) that will become the MVP of lunch and snack-making — especially on hectic mornings.
amazon.com
Promising review: 'Game-changer for apple-loving kids! Where has this apple slicer been all my life? I wish I had gotten it much sooner! With kids who adore apples, this little gadget has been an absolute game-changer in our household. It makes slicing apples a breeze — quick, easy, and hassle free.
Now, I can whip up a batch of perfectly sliced apples in no time, satisfying their snack cravings without any fuss. It's so convenient and efficient; I can't believe I used to slice them by hand. Plus, it's a safer option for the little ones to use themselves with supervision.
If you have apple-loving kids (or even if you just love apples yourself), I highly recommend investing in this apple slicer. It's a small purchase that makes a big difference in the kitchen!' — Sunshine
Get it from Amazon for $22.98+ (available with and without a corer).
13. A super durable and leak-proof kids' Bentgo box that will actually help you organize your brain and figure out what you need to put in there. Pssst: If you want to include a sweet treat, M&Ms look pretty cute in the circle compartment.
Promising review: " I purchased two of these, one for each of my elementary children, and they work wonderfully. I can easily pack a sandwich, veggies with dip, fruit, and a snack in the box. If they would like chips or crackers, I simply place those in the lunch box, along with an ice pack, to keep things cool. The Bentgo Box, a slim ice pack, and a small bag of chips or crackers easily fit in a children's lunchbox. The gaskets work well, and dressings/liquids do not leak to other compartments. So far so good!" — Erin
Get it from Amazon for $27.99 (available in eight colors).
14. A sandwich cutter set that will make you feel like one of those Pinterest-y grown-ups who spends hours making super cute lunches... even though, in reality, you threw together a lunch in under five minutes.
amazon.com

Get it from Amazon for $5.97+ (available in eight styles).
15. A three-pack of Tide to Go pens so you can spot-clean the breakfast stains off your kids' clothes instead of having them run back upstairs to get changed. Put one in the kitchen, one in the car, and one in your bag and you'll always be covered!
amazon.com
Promising review:"These are the BEST‼️ Our kids put them in their backpacks for school and often say thank you because the tide pen came in clutch for them or a friend. We put them in the back-to-school teacher basket gifts and stockings and have a Tide pen thrown in pretty much every vehicle and bag we own because they last!! We pulled one out of a camping bag that was at least 3-years-old and still worked great‼️ We have used these on nearly every clothing stain without ever having the fabric color lift them or after washing🤯😍 These are a lifesaver to share anytime but are so great for professional settings or at business conventions, weddings, and formal events." — D
Get it from Amazon for $7.88.
16. An Owala water bottle that is super sturdy and keeps the water nice and cold all day. Is it just me, or did you never drink water as a child, either? Very impressed by these kids and their commitment to good hydration.
Promising review:"I think the Owala water bottle is super cool! It's my favorite because it keeps my kid's water cold for a long time, even when it's hot outside. The bottle is easy to carry because it has a handle, so my kids can take it to school and summer school. The best part is the cap – you just press a button, and it opens by itself, which is awesome! There's also a little straw inside, so my kids don't have to tip it over to drink. It's really fun and helps my kids stay hydrated." — BJ
Get it from Amazon for $22.99+ (available in four sizes and 18 colors).
17. A personalized acrylic wall calendar for your family, so you can easily keep track of what's going on that day and maybe even remember to bring the sports bag to school in the morning.
Promising review:"My house has a modern feel to it, and I did not want a tacky wall calendar, so when I saw this, I needed it immediately. As a family with four kids, we have a busy schedule, so having something like this to keep track of everything is a game changer. I received the item quickly, and it is amazing quality." — Jordyn Sampson
Get it from Amazon for $39.90+ (customization options include six sizes, three marker options, three background colors, three hardware finishes, various fonts, and more).
18. A rapid egg cooker that will be your favorite sous chef in the mornings. Choose how you want the eggs cooked, set the time, and wait for it to go off. Maybe you'll even have a few minutes to make yourself something for breakfast, too!
Promising review:"I dislike how much I like this thing. I looked at it a dozen times, telling myself that I don't need a gimmicky kitchen gadget to take up space in my cupboards. But lord, hear me, IT SPARKS JOY! Is it the oddly adorable bubble-shaped lid? The retro cringe unconscionably loud alarm? The teal? I don't know, nor do I care. My affections have blossomed.
For some reason, it makes the already low-barrier task of making eggs even easier. My kids are eating up these medium-boiled eggs in their packed school breakfast. I am making WFH brunch omelets. I can finally poach without swearing." — Niki
Get it from Amazon for $18.99 (available in nine colors).
19. An insulated Yeti tumbler for you, which keeps coffee hot or cold through the morning rush. Now, you can stay properly caffeinated and focused in those moments when you're not sure if you're going to get the kids to school on time (but you always do). You've got this!
amazon.com
Promising review:"Literally nothing to say but good things. In the great cup debate that goes on, nothing compares to Yeti. Ice lasts, and drinks stay cold for a long time. Use in the morning for school drop-off coffee and in the afternoons for water, love it." — sterwerf
Get it from Amazon for $35 (available in 36 colors).
20. A set of elastic laces because you tried the tied-shoe thing, and it just takes too long! In the mornings, every minute counts. Convert tie-shoes into slip-ons, and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
amazon.com
Promising review: 'Worked great on my son's high-top Converse! I didn't expect these to work so well on high-top shoes, but they do! We aren't waiting 15 minutes for my son to get his shoes on to go to school, so these are totally worth it! My son doesn't use the top holes, so 45 inches worked, but I would have gone longer if I had known.' — ThriftyCouponMom
Get it from Amazon for $10.99+ (available in nine lengths and 15 colors).
21. A customizable daily to-do list that you can reuse every morning to reinforce the routine and make sure everything gets done. This is perfect for the kids who thrive on routine and love checking things off, as well as the ones who might need just a little extra reminding. Everyone wins here!

What to Gift a 16-Year-Old Dude

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Your teenage boy probably looks like a long, stretched-out version of his 10-year-old self. Especially at age 16, he might act like an adult one minute — he's old enough to drive! — and a kid the next, still wanting to goof around on a skateboard with his buds. When looking for the best gifts for a 16-year-old boy, you can go in either direction. You could get him some tech, for instance, now that he's perhaps even more trustworthy with gadgets, or you can get him something silly. He'll likely be happy either way, even if he's currently a man of few words! At the Good Housekeeping Institute, we have plenty of staff parents who regularly test toys and gifts for kids. For a story like this, we also talk to teens and their parents to find out what they want. Plus I have two young men, now 20 and 23, so I have some experience with shopping for this age (and I love it, TBH).Clip 4 Portable Mini Bluetooth Speaker This portable and waterproof mini bluetooth speaker clips on to pants or a backpack, almost like a padlock. He can play tunes while shooting hoops, riding his bike, hanging at the pool or lounging at home. The GH Institute named this speaker the best bluetooth speaker for travel for its lightweight and portable design. $49.95 at 16th Birthday Keychain A keychain is an inexpensive and apropos gift for any 16-year-old who has learned to drive or will soon. Or, of course, they can use it for house keys. This one is inscribed with his birth year and has a loving, supportive message engraved on the back side. RELATED: Gifts for Their Sweet 16 $9.99 at Mini Cruiser Adult Skateboard This lightweight (5 pounds) skateboard is for street and sidewalk cruising and getting from here to there in a cool way. It arrives fully assembled and ready to roll and comes in other colors like blue, white and black. $33.99 at Ball Plush Jellycat is the favorite plush brand of current teens and college kids. If your 16-year-old is a sporty guy, this smiling tennis ball is a unique and adorable gift. There's a Jellycat football, baseball and soccer ball as well. $34.00 at Fur Throw Blanket When he needs to hide from the world he can snuggle under the warm softness of this supersoft throw blanket. It comes in more than 20 colors, so you can find his favorite or one that matches his room or school colors. $18.99 at Wallet The teen guys we know don't want big wallets — they're not carrying wads of cash. They want a grown-up wallet for their school ID and debit card, ideally RFID-blocking to protect the wallet from card readers. This one fits the bill, is affordable and gets great user reviews on Amazon. $19.99 at "He's been interested in cologne," the mom of a soon-to-be 16-year-old told us. The high-end stuff at Sephora is pricey and drugstore body spray is maybe not special enough. Nautica Voyage makes a great, inexpensive first cologne for him to try. It smells a little beachy and coastal and earns rave reviews. This is the small size, and the larger size is about $30. $15.74 at Pull Up Bar My own teen got one of these when he turned 16 and is still using it for home exercise now at age 20. It installs over the door (and comes down easily too) and works even for tall dudes. $59.99 at Hoodie Hoodies are the uniform of teen boys, and a popular gift for birthdays or Christmas. We love the price of this one from Amazon, available in two dozen colors. RELATED: The Best Gifts on Amazon Under $50 $11.92 at Sling Bag Why do some brands become so cool with teens? We don't know, but Carhartt is a current favorite with young people, even if it's been around since 1889. (They probably think they discovered it). Our gift suggestion is the durable sling bag he can use to carry his phone, wallet and a couple of other essentials to concerts, movies and outings with friends. $29.99 at 3 Fitness Tracker Is he interested in fitness? This entry-level FitBit is a watch that also tracks his steps and reads his pulse, feeding back information to a free app he can put on his phone. $79.95 at Vs. Kaiju Slime Battle Okay, this is an actual toy. But if he's into the latest Superman movie (PG-13 and not kiddish) than he might get a huge kick out of this slime-filled Kaiju monster and action figure that can "battle" it. A fun return to his youth. $24.97 at Record Storage Holder Is he picking up vinyl records? They — and cassettes — are coveted again. This can hold up to 50 albums and he can display a current favorite in the front. $29.99 at Ball Shaped Pillow A sporty kid might love this unique room decor, a 10-inch soccer ball pillow. There's also a baseball, a basketball and a football to put on his bed or chair. $49.50 at to Be a Person Plenty of 16-year-olds don't seem to really listen to their parents, especially when the parents are trying to instruct them on how to do their own laundry or cook a meal. This book contains easy instructions for 65 grown-up skills that can help a teen be more independent, confident — and a better housemate. They're likely to listen to what the author says, since she's not related to them. $15.26 at Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Is he a gamer? A special gamer mouse can help him move faster in his games. This one is wireless and gets thousands of excellent Amazon reviews. $29.99 at Wooden Chess Set If he likes chess, this 15-inch board folds up to be portable and is magnetic to hold the pieces. It comes with two extra queens. He can take it to school, to a friend's house or on family travels. $25.48 at 'Em No Mercy This Amazon-exclusive version of the favorite card game UNO is a little more brutal and merciless than the standard version — perfect for a competitive teen looking to go head-to-head with friends or parents. It's for two to six players and includes 56 additional cards, special rules and action cards that might make a player pick 10 more cards from the pile. $16.28 at for Men Picking out sneakers for any dude is tough, but grabbing a pair of these super-popular, waterproof slip-on sandals is easy. They're perfect house slippers, but we see young guys wearing these out on errands, at the beach or pool and elsewhere. $21.20 at Stratocaster Electric Guitar Help make his battle-of-the-bands dreams come true with a beginner electric guitar. This Fender comes with a warranty and online lessons. He'll also probably need an amp, which he might find on Facebook Marketplace or Amazon. Fender also sells a guitar and amp bundle. $146.99 at Dancing Groot "LEGOs are still big with 16-year-olds," one mom told us. Your guy might be ready for the sets that are for 18+ but just to be on the safe side, we like aging down to something like this cool, posable Groot. It's still got nearly 500 pieces to make the 8.5-inch figure, so it's not too easy, but also won't frustrate a teen. $35.99 at Fart Blaster One more goofy gift: Fog "farts" blast out of this, scented like banana or burned popcorn. We've tested it at the Good Housekeeping Institute and will admit we adults were laughing as much as the kids, so if your teen still has a silly sense of humor, he might love this. $45.98 at Rock Bracelet with Moonstone I can't do this list without something a little sappy. Granted, when I gave my teen son a beaded bracelet he lost it within a month, but it's the sentiment that counts. This lets him know you love him and the black volcanic rock beads and single moonstone are pretty cool. $12.99 at You Might Also Like 67 Best Gifts for Women That'll Make Her Smile The Best Pillows for Every Type of Sleeper

My Go-to Comfy Merrell Hiking Shoes Are on Mega Sale at Amazon

My twin brother and I spent years growing up trying to highlight our differences and personalities. That meant avoiding twin stereotypes, including wearing matching outfits. We've carried this shared dedication to individuality into adulthood, and we still don't typically gravitate toward similar styles. That is, until one of us discovers a new travel brand we love enough to share with the other. Just take Merrell, for example: This outdoor footwear brand has been my go-to for comfortable hiking shoes for quite some time. While I've run through a few different Merrell hiking shoes over the years, the Women's Moab 3 style, which is currently on sale at Amazon, remains in high rotation in my current travel wardrobe. I always reach for them when I know I'm about to be a little harder on my feet than usual, or need an outdoorsy shoe that can stand up to dirt. In fact, I'm such a big fan of Merrell that I raved about the brand to my twin brother when he needed hiking shoes five years ago, and now, he shares my love for the brand. Jason picked out the Moab Flight—an older style that's similar to the men's Moab 3 shoes—and has been wearing them ever since. Fast-forward to this year, we visited the Galapagos together, which meant plenty of discussions on what we should pack. As we debated the best sun protection creams and bug sprays to bring on our cruise with Ecoventura, we both agreed on one thing: We'd definitely be packing our Merrell hiking shoes. These Merrell hiking shoes are designed to tackle trails with heavy debris, making them perfect for the Galapagos' varying landscape. During the trip, we hiked on rocky terrains, but perhaps our most challenging trek was on dried lava. If you've never encountered this surface before, it tends to be jagged and a bit unpredictable. I pride myself on my balance and endurance, and still almost tripped a few times. Our Moab shoes kept us comfortable and stable during the hike due to their ankle support, which helped with stability and protected us from obstacles. The sturdy outsoles, with strong traction, kept us afoot on uneven and slippery terrain. My brother and I both found ourselves reaching for our hiking shoes throughout the trip, and no matter what our trek entailed, these Merrell Moab 3 hiking shoes kept our feet pain-free. 'They were good for hiking, beach walks, walking on lava, and through mud,' my brother agreed, adding that his feet stayed dry and comfortable the entire trip thanks to the built-in cushioning and shock absorption. Plus, they're waterproof, making them perfect for destinations with unpredictable weather. When I got hit by a rogue wave during what was supposed to be a dry landing, I feared I'd be walking on squishy, wet shoes the entire day—instead, these shoes shielded my hiking socks from water and dried quickly in the Ecuadorian heat. If you, like me, can't help but judge a hiking shoe by its cover, I'm happy to report that these shoes are as cute as they are comfortable. I have the white/soft coral style, which looks more like a light pink in person. They added just the right amount of color and femininity to my otherwise earthy, neutral hiking outfits. The women's Moab 3 comes in 12 colorways, and the men's version comes in 14 colorways (I'm thinking my brother should get the Adobe Rose colorway next so our footwear can truly twin). The Merrell Moab 3 also comes in a mid-height variation with extra ankle coverage, and is available in wide widths; however, it's worth noting that there are fewer color options available in this style. I'm generally between a size 6 and 6.5 in shoes, and found that the 6.5 fit me perfectly. If you've shopped Merrell shoes before, I'd say that this shoe runs consistent with the rest of the brand's sizing. I also appreciate that they were designed to be durable and eco-friendly, and are constructed with recycled materials and leather. Unsurprisingly, my brother and I aren't the only fans of these hiking shoes. Both the women's and men's versions of the Merrell Moab 3 have thousands of five-star reviews. On the Merrell website, one shopper shared that they hiked for 30 miles while these shoes were 'brand new out of the box' and ended up with zero blisters. Another reviewer agreed, writing that they were comfortable 'right out of the box' with 'no break-in required.' Another traveler even wore them to climb to the summit of Mount Le Conte in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, reporting that the 'shoes were very comfortable and I didn't slide on the slippery, wet rocks at all.' A third reviewer who wears them to walk three miles daily with her Siberian Husky wrote, 'I particularly like the roomy toe box and the deep lugs on the soles.' Whether you're looking for extra support for your daily walks or need a sturdy sneaker to hit the trails in, you can't go wrong with the Merrell Moab 3 Hiking Shoes. And while the shoes are on sale at Amazon, it's the perfect time to grab a pair for your fellow hiking buddy, too. Looking for more options? Read on for five similarly popular hiking shoes that will help you tackle any type of terrain, starting at $45. Love a great deal? 15 Things That Cost Too Much

Life as we know it has gotten really expensive. And what makes it even more frustrating is having the awareness that prices weren't always this high. So when we asked the BuzzFeed Community: "What is horribly overpriced?" so many people delivered their honest answers. Here's what they said below: "I'm mostly mad at all the things that have become subscription-based, and you can't outright own some stuff. 70/year to have Microsoft Word? No, thank you." —oldladyintraining "It's so expensive to be single! Living alone costs way too much. But I don't want to have a roommate for multiple practical reasons. Life would be cheaper if I had a boyfriend. It really sucks, I feel like I'm penalized for not having found love yet." "$40 for pizza delivery." —WeatherWitch"How much pizza costs (specifically delivery) pisses me off so much. So after your order adds up, they add all these fees that usually make the order $7-10 more. That isn't counting toward the tip, so add that on (I always tip $10), and suddenly what you thought may be a $20 order is $40 bucks or more. Everywhere I have ordered have gotten sparse with toppings as well. I used to order pizza not specifically because I was craving it, but because it was one of the few places that delivered. Now, with delivery services, I can order anything I want and spend less. Pizza places need to calm down. Sorry for my pizza rant..."—nicy2 "Airbnb has become really sucky. I never use it anymore; I would rather stay in a motel. And no bullshit extra fees!" "Having kids. I love kids and actually love to have at least one, but it's just not financially sustainable right now." —eklimen"People are so concerned about a lower population as Boomers get older, and I always point out things like this. It's way too expensive!"—oldladyintraining "The obvious for me is concert tix. I refuse to go to a concert unless it's free because $350 to sit in the nosebleeds while the crowd sings over the artist is way too much." "My printer has been giving me the very low ink warning for at least a year and a half now. Granted, it's not like I print things every day. But that warning in itself seems like a scam, considering the things I print still come out perfectly. The warnings pop up multiple times every time I print, and it's so annoying. But I will use those cartridges until they actually show they're running out, completely ignoring their dire warnings that I'm dangerously low." —wildflower_daydreamer "Childcare, and the price is not necessarily reflective of quality. Many 'nannies' are college kids whose only experience is that they were a camp counselor in 2008, and they still want you to pay $50 an hour and provide their health insurance, plus, they constantly take days off. Many home providers charge like a center to microwave chicken nuggets and park kids in front of a TV, plus they are caring for their own kids, too, who will always take priority over yours." "I gave my son $5 yesterday to spend at an amusement park with his camp, thinking it would be enough to buy ice cream. It wasn't. He told me it was barely enough to get a regular-sized drink, and that the ice cream was $10 (while large drinks were like $9). Yeah, that pricing is wild." —ladedah "All equipment and parts for pools. I had to buy a very simple pressure relief valve for the top of my filter. A similar valve for normal plumbing might cost $5. The pool-specific version cost $65. My very simple pool cleaning robot, which doesn't have any electronics, is made entirely of plastic and rubber, and is driven only by water pressure from the pool, costs 2x more than a high-end Roomba. It's bonkers." "I saw gum for $6.49 at the gas station yesterday. Gum." —meow "I work part-time as a shuttle driver at an auto dealership. Granted, the vehicles that they sell (and I drive) have cool features like satellite radio, a/c seats, massage seats, and a large touchscreen. But is their top vehicle with these features reasonable for $107,000? Hell no." "A can of mushrooms used to cost me .69 cents. I had to stick up again, and suddenly now it's like $2 a can! Like it's only been a few months, but the price jump makes me so mad. I practically live off canned mushrooms, and I always knew they were cheap." —monikap6 "Event/attraction parking. I had a good discount for tickets to Sandcastle Water Park two weeks ago. I get there, and it's $20 to park!! Also, food inside the park is ridiculous as well! They don't even have size options or kids' portions. One order of their delicious potato patch fries was $9 before tax! Thankful for free cups of ice water!" And finally, "Literally just living at this point. 😭" —ilovecatsandmyhoodies Is there a particular thing that you believe is incredibly overpriced?
