Inter Milan have signed midfielder Petar Sucic from Dinamo Zagreb. They paid a fee of €14 million plus add-ons for the 21-year-old.
The Nerazzurri snapped up Sucic ahead of the competition of Juventus, as the Gazzetta note.
And according to the Gazzetta, there is a good reason why Inter moved to sign Sucic.

Sucic looks to be a player with the combination of athleticism and technical ability to make his mark at Inter.
The 21-year-old has the versatility to cover a few different roles at Inter.
And the Gazzetta note how this will be a familiar profile for the Nerazzurri.

Inter have already had one midfield maestro from Croatia in the recent past. Marcelo Brozovic spent nearly a decade at the San Siro, and was outstanding for much of it.
Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic spent nearly as long at the Nerazzurri. He played as everything from an attacking winger to a wingback.
Both Brozovic and Perisic have already spoken with Sucic. They have given him their own views and experiences on the atmosphere of playing at the Nerazzurri.
Inter is not an easy club to adapt to. The expectations are high, whilst chaos and crisis are never far away.
Nevertheless, Brozovic and Perisic always managed to find a sense of calm.
And Sucic looks to be a player ready to put his head down and do the same.

Report – Inter Milan Will Only Sign €60M Rated Atalanta Star On One Condition Inter Milan will only move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson this summer if Hakan Calhanoglu departs. This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that La Dea will hold out for a fee of €60 million for the Brazilian. Advertisement Inter Milan have reportedly been eyeing up a possible move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson. The 25-year-old has come to the end of his third season at Atalanta. He joined the Bergamo-based club from Salernitana in the summer of 2022. And Ederson has certainly grown into one of the outstanding midfielders in Serie A during his time at the Gewiss Arena. (Photo by) However, considering Ederson's form, Atalanta will not let the Brazilian go for cheap. The Corriere dello Sport anticipate that La Dea want a fee of at least €60 million for Ederson. Advertisement Therefore, Inter would have to make a big sale if they are to move for the 25-year-old. The obvious candidate in this respect would be Hakan Calhanoglu. The Turkish international could bring in a fee of around €35-40 million, which Inter could reinvest in a move for Ederson to replace him. However, if Inter do not sell Calhanoglu, then there would be little scope for them to sign the Brazilian.

Lazio Put Up A ‘Wall' For Inter Milan Target – €50M Release Clause Or Nothing
Lazio Put Up A 'Wall' For Inter Milan Target – €50M Release Clause Or Nothing Lazio have put up a 'wall' for Inter Milan target Nicolo Rovella, and will only sell the midfielder for his €50 million release clause. This according to today's print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. Advertisement Inter Milan have reportedly recently sounded out a move for Lazio midfielder Nicolo Rovella. Reports indicate that the Nerazzurri are offering €35-40 million for the 23-year-old. They would see him as a prospective replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu in holding midfield. (Photo by Marco Rosi –) However, Rovella has a release clause in his contract. If Inter were to make an offer of €50 million or so, then Lazio would have to accept it. But the Corriere report that the Biancocelesti aren't going to make it easy. That is the only offer that they will accept, there will be no negotiations. Advertisement Losing Nicolo Rovella would be a bitter blow for Lazio. Particularly considering their precarious financial situation and inability to make signings as things stand. Moreover, the Corriere note, selling Rovella wouldn't necessarily change things much. That is because the release clause for the Italian international is payable in three instalments. Therefore, Lazio would only bring in a cash windfall of around €17 million this summer if Inter or another club were to trigger Rovella's release clause.
