Love Island tensions high as Meg and Dejon fall out again days before final

Daily Mirror16 hours ago
Love Island's final is only a few days away, but Meg and Dejon are still clashing over revelations from a recent challenge
The final for this year's Love Island is only days away, yet some of the couples are still struggling to get along. Viewers have been in an uproar over Dejon's treatment of Meg as they rowed in recent episodes, with many convinced he's changing he's tune after villa returnee Blu told the boys what he's learned while away.

Blu revealed Meg and Helena were branded "mean girls" by the public and viewers believe the new information is why Dejon has changed his tune towards Meg. During a recent challenge, the boys were asked which girl they would couple up with if their partner wasn't in the villa.

Dejon shocked everyone by choosing Yasmin despite the couple not getting along with her, Toni, and Shakira. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show .

A disappointed Meg chatted with Connor about Dejon picking Yas in the challenge, but Dejon soon walked by and said: "You're gonna stop speaking when I walk past?" She was visibly emotional as she aired her concerns with pals.
Meg and Dejon later argued about his decision. He claimed he previously told her about his attraction towards Yas but Meg disagreed. He soon asked her why she was "trying to make him look bad".

In Friday night's episode, the boys were tasked with cooking up a storm for date night while the girls glammed up in the dressing room.
While most reflected on their Love Island journey, Meg and Dejon clashed over Yas after she discovered Yas initially wrote Dejon on her board during the game from the previous night. .

Meg pulled Yas for a chat and said: "I've heard through the grapevine that you got the question wrong and D's name was written on the board. I wanted you to explain it because in challenges and stuff, everyone's always got a bad word to say about D. So, for you then to write him on the board, it was like 'what's this about'? Am I missing something?"
Following the conversation, she spoke to Dejon and another disagreement unfolded. He said: "I can't believe these are our final days and we're arguing over Yas - change the topic.'
Meg said: 'You're still not getting where I'm coming from.' Dejon explained: 'Where are you coming from? What is your point?' He claimed putting her name on the board didn't mean anything. The row didn't end and Dejon said they should just 'sit in silence'.
Fans were annoyed by the exchange and shared their disappointment on X/ Twitter, with one writing: "Dejon is not letting meg express herself and her feelings and its soooo wrong," and another saying: "Meg and Dejon are truly exhausting and they need to split up for the sake of their own mental health cause this s**t is not healthy."
One even posted: "If meg and dejon aint been voted least compatible couple then im done."

Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter oozes beauty in red bikini on beach 7 months after giving birth

Hollyoaks actress and mum-of-two Jorgie Porter, 37, only gave birth eight months ago, but already looks flawless as she enjoys some downtime on the beach in sunny Marbella, Spain Actress Jorgie Porter looks absolutely incredible as she suns herself in Marbella wearing a tiny red bikini, less than eight months after giving birth to her second child. The former Hollyoaks actress, 37, is mum to two young children. ‌ Her first-born is son Forest, who she welcomed in November 2022. Then, on December 10, 2024, she and her fiancé, Ollie Piotrowski, had their second child together; a baby girl named Peony. The couple also co-parent Ollie's 10-year-old son, Alfie. ‌ In stunning new photos of Jorgie on holiday in Marbella, the soap star oozed beauty as she frolicked on the beach. On one photo she can be seen wearing a pair of oversized shades as she stood in the surf. It comes after Channel 4 breaks silence after Gogglebox couple suddenly dumped from show. ‌ Another sees her elegantly kneeling on the sand while she soaks up the sun, sunglasses in hand. Other snaps show her taming her long, blonde locks with her hand after taking a dip in the sea. Jorgie's washboard abs and toned legs had a light tan from her sunny holiday, while the mum-of-two enjoyed some downtime ahead of her soap comeback. The actress will reprise her character Theresa McQueen in October, for spin-off show Hollyoaks Later. ‌ Jorgie has previously spoken about her post-baby body, putting her weight management down to one simple trick. After she had her first baby, the actress shared the secret to her postpartum weight loss. She told the Sun: "This is literally due to breastfeeding and Forest is 18kg now. I'm carrying this little thing around constantly has helped. ‌ "I'm also just always running around doing things - I'm happy with my body but it goes up and down all the time." Jorgie announced the birth of her second baby in December, thanking medical staff for taking care of her and her family. Shortly after her daughter's birth, she revealed in an exclusive chat with the Mirror how she was finding being a mum of two. ‌ 'It's hard. Nobody tells you that it's the hardest thing in the world because you've got a toddler that wants all your attention and you've, obviously, got a little baby that's attached to you, literally that is another level of mum-ness. It is hard. We're in the trenches, this is the trenches we're deep in there.' Juggling two children is tricky for a number of reasons, but Jorgie reveals she finds her son Forest's jealousy particularly difficult – but is making slow progress helping her eldest adjust to the new family dynamic. She explains: 'Honestly, it's great but I think there's jealousy bits when the toddler is like, 'you're my mummy, get off this one, put her in the carseat', like, 'No Forest, we're cuddling her'. ‌ 'It's tricky because he can't understand that I'm her Mummy, too. But he does know, it's weird. It's very hard to navigate. It's going there, it's brilliant. I think there's everyday you go, 'Oh that's a win, that's brilliant, we're out together in a pram, we did it'. So it is going well.' Jorgie announced her daughter's arrival in December by writing on Instagram, she said: "She's here …..! We are complete [heart emoji]. Thank you to everyone at Wigan hospital Especially @sandi_goulding who is our everything couldn't of asked for a better day." She then shared a sweet photo of herself holding her newborn's tiny hand. ‌ In May last year, Jorgie shared the news of her pregnancy on an episode of ITVBe's Drama Queens, as well as on her Instagram page. She posted a video of her fiancé, son and their dog covering a baby scan print out with their hands (and paw). She wrote alongside the post: "We've been keeping a little secret." Then, in September, she shared footage from her gender reveal party. Proudly showing off her bump in a long-sleeved white mini dress, Jorgie held a huge balloon that had the words 'Boy or girl?' printed on it. She then shared a clip of a huge white cake, with 'coming soon' iced on top. ‌ Jorgie and Ollie could be seen digging a wine glass each into the cake to see what the colour of the sponge was. Jorgie exclaimed: "Yay!", as she turned the glass around to show the pink filling of the cake. Forest and his half brother Alfie, who lives with them half of the time in their Greater Manchester home, couldn't wait to meet their little sister. But Jorgie started to get impatient with her pregnancy, telling OK! magazine that it felt like it went on for "100 years". ‌ She told the mag: "Honestly, it was the longest time. Margot Robbie had her baby about a week after she announced her pregnancy – I was pregnant for what felt like 100 years! "The trouble was that my bump popped really early so I couldn't hide it. By the end I'd wake up every day and think, 'Yup, I'm still a whale, I'm not getting away from this.''So it was harder this time, but I felt like I really should enjoy it more and milk it. So if I randomly wanted to lie down, I'd lie down, I just didn't care what other people thought. I just wanted to enjoy it."

Zawe Ashton has been with the Marvel star for over six years TRUTH TIME Tom Hiddleston's fiancée sets record straight on wedding claims and reveals 'toxic paragraphs' from family members Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE MARVELS star Zawe Ashton has set the record straight amid rumours she's secretly married long-time love Tom Hiddleston. The famous couple have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, going public for the first time in 2021 after a rumoured two years of dating. When the announcement noted Tom as Zawe's 'husband', rumours started circulating that they had secretly tied the knot. This week, Zawe joined longtime pal Miquita Oliver on her Miss Me? podcast, clearing up the speculation – and revealing even family members had believed it, sending her upsetting messages in the process after 'not being invited'. She told Miquita: 'We've been engaged for a long time. There are … I think there have been publications that have named us husband and wife already.' 'Like 'uh, okay, no invite? Whatever.' It's like, no, no, no. It didn't happen! We didn't do it in secret. We haven't eloped.' Despite the pair not making it official, Zawe did note that the pair do call each other husband and wife, which may have been where the confusion came from. She added: 'It's just a semantics thing. I think at some point you're like 'girlfriend, boyfriend' … with a kid and another one on the way? Does that feel right?' Zawe – who first shot to fame on Channel 4 sitcom Fresh Meat in the early 2000s – added that for some reason it 'p***ed off married couples' that they call each other husband and wife without actually getting married. Tom and Zawe have been running in similar social circles throughout their career, and were first photographed at a friendly event in 2018 celebrating the career of Harold Pinter. Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton discuss their roles in hit Harold Pinter play Betrayal Shortly after, the pair were cast alongside each other in a play by the same famed playwright, Betrayal, portraying husband and wife Robert and Emma. After a West End run in 2019, the show was transferred to Broadway, with the pair reprising their roles – during that time, it was noted they had got close. They finally went public with their first official outing as a couple at the Tony Awards in 2021. Since then, Zawe joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as The Marvels' villain Dar-Benn. Tom famously plays Loki within the same film world, though their characters have never crossed on screen. 5 Tom and Zawe worked alongside each other in 2019 play, Betrayal 5 Zawe is now an official member of the MCU after appearing in The Marvels Credit: 2023 MARVEL.
