Traveller wife shows off her spotless home after spending hours cleaning every inch - and she reveals the one task that takes 'all day'
Ruby Barney Britton, from Oxford, Oxfordshire, shared a behind-the-scenes look at her daily life as a stay-at-home wife in a TikTok on her page @rubybarneybritton as she deep-cleaned her trailer.
Her cleaning marathon began with the oven, which she said took 'all day', Rube moved on to the fridge.
Next, she tackled the food cupboards, side drawers, shoe storage, and even her supplies closet.
In the clip, which racked up over 488,000 views, she said: 'Come spend the day in the life with me as a stay-at-home a Gypsy wife.
'So I woke up in the morning and I made the bed, I skipped breakfast, didn't even have a wash yet and just got straight to cleaning cause I had so much to do today.
'I didn't video half of it, but I just started out with cleaning the oven. This really took me all day today. I don't even know why it took me so long, but I've done the oven, then I done my fridge and my food cupboards, and then I was doing my side drawers.'
Ruby revealed she cleans weekly even when nothing 'looks dirty'.
She added: 'Even though none of this really looks dirty, but it just feels like it is if I haven't cleaned it in a week or so.
'So I just wiped everything out, wiped all the cutlery back down, and then stacked it all back in.'
At one point, Ruby cleaned her air conditioning unit with a paintbrush to gently remove dust, noting that once dust gets wet 'you physically can't get it off'.
Between tasks, her partner Johnny brought her lunch from Greggs before she powered through the rest of the day.
Ruby's pride in her home shone through as she shared clips of the spotless space which included matching rugs, placemats, fresh flowers and yellow summer-themed décor.
Despite spending hours cleaning, Ruby confessed the spotless space didn't last long.
She quipped: 'Then I started making dinner and destroyed everything again.'
Her followers rushed to the comments to say they were impressed with her pristine home.

One person asked: 'How do you all have such lovely hands and nails yet clean so much. you are beautiful as is your house.'
Ruby replied: 'I moisturise a lot and on the daily i only use water , fairy liquid and disinfectant I think bleach is the only thing that ruins your nails and skin really and my nails are gel not plain varnish so it won't come off with chemicals x'
Another asked: 'I aspire to clean to this level. How do you keep mud and dirt from your other half outside?'
To which Ruby replied: 'My husband isn't dirty at all if he has dirty shoes he leaves them outside.'
Someone else added: 'I really admire folks who keep such a beautifully clean home, there a real skill to that.'

Newlyweds Jack P. Shepherd and wife Hanni Treweek emerge the morning after their wedding wearing shades after partying until 1am
Jack P. Shepherd and his wife Hanni Treweek were spotted leaving their hotel today after partying until the small hours after tying the knot on Saturday. The Coronation Street star, 37, and his bride, 35, covered their eyes with sunglasses after celebrating with their loved ones at a Manchester hotel until 1am. The couple were surrounded by friends, family and colleagues as they tied the knot at Manchester Cathedral, just over one year after he popped the question while on safari in Tanzania, Africa. Hanni carried her bridal gown in a protective bag as they headed home with Jack's son Reuben, 11, who he shares with ex Lauren Shippey. The happy couple flashed beaming smiles as they departed laden with luggage from their big day, including suitcases and gift bags. Jack looked dapper in a navy Ralph Lauren shirt, which he teamed with a pair of skinny jeans and chunky black boots. Meanwhile, Hanni continued the bridal theme in a white dress and denim jacket, which she styled with chic shades and sandals. Reuben helped out as he carried two dog beds out to the car, suggesting that the families pooches -Baby and David - had joined them for the occasion. Their second dog is named after Jack's iconic Cobbles character, who he has played on the ITV show since 2000. Their latest appearance comes after Jack and Hanni were pictured leaving their reception on Sunday morning alongside their bleary-eyed guests. They then headed on to the reception before departing back to their hotel in Manchester in the early hours of the morning after the raucous celebrations. As she left her wedding Hanni had changed out of her lace ceremony dress and into a gorgeous silk strapless number. She wore her dark tresses pinned up and opted for a radiant makeup look as the pair climbed into a waiting car to head back. Real life Corrie couple Sally Carman and Joe Duttine were also seen leaving the party and the bleary-eyed pair put on a loved-up display as they had a smooch. Earlier in the day, the newlyweds shared a passionate kiss as white confetti fell on them after the romantic ceremony. Jack had arrived in a red mustang with his mother and his son Reuben, who he shares with his ex Lauren Shippey. Hanni arrived shortly after, and looked gorgeous in an elegant white gown, with lace detail and a long trail. Fellow Corrie star Lucy Fallon, who plays David's niece Bethany Platt, turned heads in a plunging yellow gown, teamed with gold strappy heels. Tina O'Brien, who plays his sister Sarah, looked typically chic in a plunging blue and white gown, while his on-screen wife Julia Goulding opted for a turquoise number. Other Corrie stars in attendance included Samia Longchambon, Colson Smith, Ben Price, Alan Halsall and Jayne Danson. Jack, who won Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, previously revealed he took part in the show in order to pay for the wedding. And a source previously told The Sun the pair were going all out to make sure it was their 'dream day'. 'Jack and Hanni are having their big white wedding at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday,' a source said. 'They have gone all out to make sure it's their dream day and there has been no expensed spared.' 'It's a very grand setting getting wed at the cathedral, and it will be packed with guests, including many of Jack's Corrie co-stars.' It came after Hanni got wedding ready during a girls' day out at The Ivy restaurant for her hen party earlier this month. Hanni, who was a colleague of Jack's as a storyline writer and researcher on Corrie, looked stunning in a high-neck white lace mini-dress as she danced the night away to live music. It came after she enjoyed lunch and cocktails at The Ivy, where she posed for snaps with her pals and drank from a giant 'Bride' straw - with her hens all wearing Jack masks. Taking to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Hanni also revealed that she and Jack had been at a lesson for their first dance, as she shared a mirror selfie of the pair in a studio captioned: 'Hungover but dancing through as Mrs Shepherd to be .' She captioned her hen party snaps: 'The non hen party party, two weeks before the wedding. 25 years of a special friendship with these beautiful girlies, how lucky are we. 'I love you all so much, thank you for throwing me a non hen party party it was perfect. The next time I see you I'll be walking down the aisle.' Back in June, Hanni shared a sweet post about her husband-to-be as they celebrated a year since getting engaged. Hanni shared a sweet tribute to her husband as she counted down the days to the nuptials. Sharing a collection of throwback snaps from their trip to the Serengeti where he asked her to be his wife, Hanni wrote: '365 days of being your Fiancée. 51 days until we become Husband & Wife. 'Looking back at the most special memories with you, Tanzania will always hold a special place in my heart ⛺️❤️ Happy one year anniversary. What a magical year it's been ✨.' Resharing the post on his Instagram Story, Jack wrote: 'Happy one year anniversary @hannitreweek. I'm so lucky to call you my future wife.' At the time, the couple posed for loved-up snaps in their safari getups to announce the happy news on social media. Flashing her sparkling engagement ring, Hanni beamed for the camera before kissing her new fiancé. Captioning the snaps, she gushed: '05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!' Jack and Hanni have been dating since 2017, after meeting on the soap when she worked in the press office. She later became a story liner on the ITV show, before quitting to work as a fashion influencer. Despite being colleagues, their romance actually began when Jack impressed Hanni at a mutual friend's wedding. Speaking to OK! Magazine in 2020, Jack recalled: 'Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding. 'We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.' The duo then later bumped into each other once again in a Sainsbury's, which led to an exchange of texts and a blossoming romance. He told The Daily Star: 'I texted her afterwards and said 'that was awkward' and she told me she thought she looked a mess and then we started texting from there. 'I actually thought she looked fit – I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked.'
