Fatal motorcycle crash on Hwy 11 under investigation in Muskoka
A motorcyclist has died in a collision on Highway 11 in Muskoka.
A section of Highway 11 was closed Friday afternoon for a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in Gravenhurst.
Provincial police say the crash happened in the northbound lanes around 3 p.m. just north of Muskoka Road 169.
A 51-year-old man from Niagara-on-the-Lake was thrown from the motorcycle and did not survive.

Highway 11 north was closed between Muskoka Road 169 and Pinedale Road for several hours throughout the afternoon and into the early evening for an investigation.
The OPP said all lanes were reopened around 8 p.m.
