'World's hairiest girl' finds love again after split - and she now looks VERY different

Daily Mail06-05-2025
A woman once known as the 'world's hairiest girl' has debuted a new lover seven years after marrying the 'love of her life'.
Supatra 'Natty' Sausuphan, now 25, from the Thailand capital Bangkok, recently shared that her and her new partner - who are in a civil partnership - had celebrated seven 'happy' months together, despite publicly revealing another man as her husband in 2018.
Supatra suffers from an extremely rare genetic condition called Ambras Syndrome, also known as Werewolf Syndrome, a form of hypertrichosis which causes excessive body-hair growth.
The 2010 Guinness World Record holder for 'hairiest teenager' is prone to growing thick hair all over her face, ears, arms, legs and back.
However the ordeal seems to be a myth of the past as she now regularly shaves her body and appears to have been hair free - save the lustrous mane on her head - for the past seven years.
A series of posts on her Facebook page reveal she's been in a loving relationship with someone since September 2024.
A loved up image of the couple shared on April 5 contained the English caption 'Happy Anniversary 7 months' along with a red heart emoji.
Their romance was palpable as Supatra was pictured lifting the person up in the air while staring lovingly into their eyes.
Plenty of other photos on her page show the couple kissing, hugged up and spending time together at various places such as parks and social events.
Videos also show them frolicking on the beach and hanging out by waves, while one post shows them celebrating the crossover into the new year in December 2024.
Though it's unknown why Supatra has split from her husband, a series of cryptic posts seem to be quite telling of the broken marriage.
Alongside images and clips showing her new partner, Supatra penned statements such as: 'as free as the ocean', 'every moment is a fresh beginning' and perhaps the most telling comment of all: 'it's never to late to start again'.
Back in 2018, a then-17-year-old Supatra happily flaunted a man she called her 'husband' on her social media account.
It was thought that she had found happiness with her unnamed husband after she posted: 'You're not just my first love, you're the love of my life'.
But from 2024 onwards, it became clear that things had changed as she revealed a completely new lover.
In 2010 Supatra officially held the Guinness World Record for the 'hairiest teenager'.

An excerpt shared to the publication's Facebook account in 2022 revealed that Supatra said she felt her condition made her 'special'.
'I don't feel any different to anyone else, and I've got lots of friends at school' she told Guinness World Records TV show 'Lo Show Dei Record' in Italy.
'Being hairy makes me special... this the happiest day of my life!'
However she also spoke on the hardship she suffered at the hands of the condition.
'There were a few people who used to tease me and call me monkey face but they don't do it any more' said Supatra.
'I'm very used to this condition. I can't feel the hair as it has always been like this. I don't feel anything.
'It does sometimes make it difficult to see when it gets long. I hope I will be cured one day'.
Supatra is one of a few dozen known sufferers of Ambras Syndrome to be documented since the Middle Ages.
It was previously reported that laser treatment failed to completely stop the hair growth, and so she took to shaving her body, her father told local media.
Before the disease was understood, sufferers were branded 'werewolves', and to this day some are shunned by their communities.
But while Supatra revealed that her condition had sometimes made her the focus of bullies at school, she said her family and friends have always had her back.

Top plastic surgeons issue warning over viral surgery trend that leaves patients with facial scars

A bizarre new plastic surgery procedure is dividing the internet after going viral on social media. The 'dimpleplasty' creates artificial dimples on a patient's face through intentional scarring. The procedure has been popular in South Korea and other parts of Asia for years, but now it's crossing over into the US. Dimpleplasty videos are flooding social media and racking up thousands of views, with some doctors cashing in by offering the surgery at affordable prices. Celebrities like Harry Styles, Cheryl Tweedy, Mario Lopez, and Ariana Grande have been cited as influencing the trend thanks to their flawless smiles and natural dimples. Cosmetic nurse Alex Pike, who hosts the plastic surgery podcast The Face, told that she's been inundated with questions about the procedure. 'My listeners often message me about viral surgery trends, including dimpleplasty,' she said. 'People are seeing these procedures all over social media, so it makes them curious to find out more.' However, despite the procedure's growing popularity, some leading plastic surgeons are warning against it. Beverly Hills-based surgeon Dr. Deepak Dugar told that he 'highly recommends patients do not do dimpleplasty surgery.' 'This is a very unnatural procedure, which creates an artificial dimpling in the cheek at rest or smiling, which is not natural in comparison to a real dimple, which only shows when smiling,' he explained. The renowned celebrity surgeon, who is known for his signature 'Scarless Nose' job and has operated on stars like Sami Sheen, said that a dimpleplasty can create unnatural results and scarring. 'We all covet natural beauty but sometimes recreation doesn't always look natural,' he said. 'Natural dimples, a cleft chin, or a mole or freckles are hard to reproduce naturally or elegantly. Procedures aiming to mimic these such as a dimpleplasty may lead to an unnatural appearance.' Board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Yael Halaas shared a similar sentiment to Dr. Dugar, telling that a dimpleplasty will indeed leave you with facial scarring. 'When dimples naturally occur, it's because of a natural anatomical variation in the muscle. Dimple surgery cannot replicate this muscle behavior so it mimics the result by creating a scarred-down spot that ends up looking like a dimple,' she explained. 'The downside is that you're creating a scar. The plus side… if you really love the look, dimple surgery can give you the indentation.' Comments about the procedure from social media users have been largely negative, with one user writing, 'This doesn't look natural at all!' Another commented, 'Great, now I've gotta deal with folks asking me if my dimples are natural.' However, some doctors swear by the popular procedure and are more than happy to offer it to willing patients. Dr. Andrew Jimerson II, who is best known as 'Dr. Curves' online, regularly performs the procedure in his Atlanta clinic for around $1300. In one viral post, he wrote, 'The full healing process takes about 3 to 4 months. In the beginning, dimples will be visible at all times. Over the next few weeks, they'll soften and settle — and once fully healed, you'll only see them when smiling, just like natural dimples.' According to a study by Grandview Research the global dimpleplasty market size was estimated at $302.50 million in 2022. The research attributed the growth to advancement in the surgery, high disposable incomes, and an increase in people wanting non-invasive procedures.

Watch the moment Love Island's Harrison tells Lauren he loves her – before making awkward u-turn

LOVE Island's Harrison tells Lauren he loves her before he makes an awkward u-turn. The interaction had fans cringing and left questioning where the pair's relationship really stands. 6 6 6 The Love Island cast returned to Mallorca this week to celebrate the show's thrilling finale, with the boys and girls staying in separate villas. Footballer Harrison went live on TikTok to chat with his fellow Islanders — including new beau, Lauren. Just as the livestream was wrapping up Harrison told Lauren 'Love you bye' with Lauren replying the same. Not long after Harrison was joined by fellow Islander Ben, when he was asked by a fan if he was still with Lauren. The reality star replied: 'I am very much with Lauren.' 'Man's a lover,' Ben then chimed. Before Harrison swiftly replied: 'Now Love's a bit strong but I am with her for sure.' The u-turn had fans flooding the comments of clips of the stream reuploaded to social media, one user said: 'He just continues to embarrass her omfs.' ''Loves a bit strong but I am with her' is he serious right now ?' added another. 'He does not like her,' chimed a third. Watch as Love Island winner Toni takes final swipe at villa ex Harrison before winning £50k 'The fact that he had to say 'love is a bit strong' really irks me.. he could have just moved over that but he continues being disrespectful to Lauren,' commented a fourth. Earlier in the series, viewers watched Lauren be dumped from the villa in a brutal twist. She begged Harrison to leave alongside her - but he wasn't sure and decided to sleep on it. However, just a day later, he decided to voluntarily walk away from the villa. After leaving the villa, Harrison said his family would play a big part in whether he and Lauren would progress. Speaking on the Love Island: Morning After podcast, Harrison said: "I feel like we want to get to know each other a little bit more away from the villa. "Obviously the villa's a very secluded environment it's different on the outside so it's nice to get to know each other, go on a few dates without cameras and microphones." Looking cosy beside Lauren, he continued: "For me it was a big thing about her meeting my family before I made anything official. But I left the villa for Lauren and I do think a lot of her. I feel like we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend soon, no doubt." An extra spanner in the works is the fact Harrison is based in Miami, and he isn't sure if he wants to return to the UK permanently just yet. 6 6 6
