Conor McGregor breaks silence after court loss claims Nikita Hand begged for secret $3 million deal
Conor McGregor
finally broke the silence. The UFC star has spoken out after his appeal was rejected. This appeal was about a civil trial from late 2024 where a jury said he sexually assaulted Nikita Hand.
He says he did nothing wrong. He says never offered any deal, and that she and her team tried to settle. He strongly denies a €1 million rumour and says when she was caught lying under oath, her lawyers then asked him for €3 million. He refused. This new statement comes just after the court decision on July 31, 2025.
Conor McGregor denies €1m offer, claims Nikita Hand's team sought €3m after court lie
On July 31, 2025 in Dublin, Ireland's Court of Appeal denied McGregor's appeal in full. He was previously ordered in November 2024 to pay nearly €250,000 to Nikita Hand, who accused him of rape in December 2018 at a hotel penthouse.
The judges ruled he must still pay damages and legal fees.
McGregor, 36, denied the allegation and said the encounter was fully consensual. He also argued that jury instructions and his
'no comment'
police interview responses were wrongly handled but the court found no errors. Hand, present at the hearing, said:
'You deserve to be heard … Today I can finally move on and try to heal'.
Conor McGregor's statement on settlement and lies
McGregor issued a detailed statement on X (formerly Twitter) the same day. He said:
'I offered this person, or her team, nothing! It was always them attempting to seek compensation to settle.' 'I believe they leaked press stories of a €1 million offer being refused. All of that was lies!'
He added that when Nikita Hand was
'caught in a lie under oath,'
her legal team approached his side and asked if he would pay €3 million to end the case before he had chance to respond. He said he replied:
'No chance.'
He wrote:
'The truth will set you free. I go forward where I know the truth'.
McGregor was not in court that day, he says he was on his yacht off the coast of Italy.

To her surprise, he acknowledged that this is possible," the woman's friend wrote on Reddit. "She hasn't been talking to that guy after this incident, but he keeps messaging her, saying Why are you spending so much on this website? What did you purchase from XYZ and so on...I don't know whether this guy is saying the truth, but I am very, very concerned that any phonepe employee with a bad intention can retrieve anyone's address simply by using their phone number. What should I do? This is giving me anxiety," she added. Some suggested she contact the police, while others urged her to report the incident to the company and HR. One user wrote, "This is extremely frowned upon in large companies. You could complain to the company with all the evidence, and they would probably take serious action against him." Another commented, "It's a major security risk for basically all users; this needs to be reported as a security threat and reported to the authorities. Employees shouldn't have access to such production data." A third said, "I think you Phonepe should really know what some clowns in the company are using their company resources for. I mean for some it might just be an inconvenience, but this kinda power at an employee level could be used for severe levels of abuse for other women who are much more weaker and scared women. A long and eventful political journey Born in 1946, Satyapal Malik entered politics in 1965-66, inspired by the socialist ideals of Ram Manohar Lohia. He rose to prominence early, becoming President of Meerut College Students Union in 1966-67 and later the President of the Students Union of Meerut University in 1968-69. In 1974, Malik was elected as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Baghpat on a Bharatiya Kranti Dal ticket and was appointed the party's Chief Whip in the Assembly. A year later, he was named All-India General Secretary of the newly formed Lok Dal. He entered the Rajya Sabha in 1980 and joined the Congress in 1984. During his time with the Congress, Malik was re-elected to the Rajya Sabha in 1986 and served as the General Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee. However, in 1987, he resigned over the Bofors scam and co-founded 'Jan Morcha', which later merged with the Janata Dal. He became its national spokesperson and secretary and was elected to the Lok Sabha from Aligarh in 1989. He also served as Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Tourism in 1990. In 2004, Malik joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), contesting elections from Baghpat. His later years, however, were overshadowed by the CBI probe, culminating in the chargesheet filed just hours before his passing.

Scorpio, Thar, Fortuner: SUVs Block Busy Gurugram Road To Shoot Reels
A convoy of nearly two dozen vehicles, including a luxury convertible and multiple SUVs, blocked a key intersection in Gurugram's Sector 108 on Sunday evening. The group brought traffic to a halt for several minutes, allegedly to shoot social media content. The incident took place near residential high-rises Shobha City and Experion Heartsong, on the stretch connecting Sector 108 to the Dwarka Expressway. Over a dozen vehicles, including a white Mercedes-Benz SLC convertible, Aston Martins, Toyota Fortuners, Mahindra Thars, Scorpios, and several hatchbacks, were involved. The scene was captured in a video later uploaded to social media. The video showed two men standing on the seats of the Mercedes-Benz convertible with the roof down, while others filmed them from nearby vehicles. Several individuals were seen leaning out of sunroofs or standing on footrests, cheering as the convoy blocked the entire road. Leading the convoy was a Mercedes-Benz SLC, seen in the video and priced at approximately Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom). Residents alleged that the vehicles were fitted with illegal sirens, which were blared throughout the stunt. The noise and obstruction reportedly brought traffic to a standstill for over seven minutes, disrupting commuters and residents trying to pass through the area.
