Aiming will end Paid Selas Sales for the PS4 and PS5 versions of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle on July 30, 2025. After that day's maintenance period, PlayStation players can no longer purchase the game's microtransactions.
'We regret to inform you that the distribution of 'Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle' for PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 will be discontinued,' reads the statement. 'We apologize for the sudden announcement to our players.'
'We deeply apologize for this sudden announcement and would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the players who have supported us until now,' the statement ends.
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle launched on the PS Store on February 13, 2024. While the PS4 and PS5 versions will cease to exist, the PC, iOS, and Android versions will remain in service.

Every online multiplayer shooter these days needs to have cross-platform support to stand a chance, but Battlefield 6 might as well be dead on arrival without this functionality. This is because, unlike games like Borderlands 4 or Gears of War: Reloaded, multiplayer matches in Battlefield 6 will feature 64-player warzones. That's a huge lobby to fill if the game is only matching you with other players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC. Before you pick your class and prepare to experience the destructive multiplayer waiting in Battlefield 6, I'll give you the sitrep on its cross-platform support. Is Battlefield 6 cross-platform? First reported by Eurogamer, it is confirmed that Battlefield 6 will feature full crossplay support on all platforms. Unlike the last entry, Battlefield 2042, this game will not be available on last-gen systems. That means crossplay will let you squad up with friends across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. For those who wish to only play with others on their specific platform, the option to disable crossplay will be available. Sadly, it was also confirmed that Battlefield 6 won't be coming to the Switch 2. Recommended Videos As far as why Battlefield 6 will be skipping the Switch 2, Vince Zampella stated that the core Battlefield fanbase is on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Battlefield 6 will also have full cross-progression support. This means players will be able to take all their progress, including skins, ranks, guns, levels, and more, from one platform to another. You will still need to purchase the game on additional platforms, but at least you won't have to start the grind over if you do want to play on two platforms. With nine maps at launch and a return to the classic class-based structure, cross-platform support was the last missing piece Battlefield 6 needed to set itself up for success when it launches on October 10, but you can get a taste of the action early by playing the beta test in August if it isn't too late.

Update: A new blog from Square Enix reveals Octopath Traveler 0 is a prequel coming to PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S on the same day as the Nintendo Switch family. Oh, there are also over 30 recruitable party members this time and, yes, eight-character parties comprised of front and back rows. Original Story: Did Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 make you yearn for another turn-based Final Fantasy? Well, I'm here to let you know Square Enix never wiped its hands of the genre. In fact, it just announced another turn-based HD-2D RPG called Octopath Traveler 0 and it's coming this year. We got our first look at the third Octopath Traveler game via today's Nintendo Direct, and, boy, does it look good. Octopath Traveler 0 is coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on December 4, 2025 - plus, it looks like it's building on top of everything we love about the old-school-style series already. That gorgeous HD-2D art style is intact. The strategic BP-based combat from Bravely Default returns. And there seems to be another potentially world-ending threat to contend with. But there's also plenty that's all-new. In a series first, you can actually create your own custom character, giving you control over their name, appearance, body type, beginning skills, and "Favorite Dish" for some reason. Ripping a page from Suikoden's playbook, town-building is also central to Octopath Traveler 0's plot as our party works to restore their hometown destroyed in a fire. The biggest Suikoden influence, to my eye, was that huge cast, which seemingly includes fights with eight party members stuffed onto the screen. Our looks at combat show eight health bars, eight pixelated little heroes, and eight friendly icons in the turn order UI. Finally making good on the series' namesake - one for every tentacle.
