Liver King mugshot released after arrest for terroristic threat against Joe Rogan
Brian Johnson, better known online as the 'Liver King,' was arrested in Austin, Texas, earlier this week for allegedly making a terroristic threat against podcast host Joe Rogan.
The 47-year-old YouTuber was reportedly found near Rogan's property, armed with what appeared to be two gold-plated firearms, and referencing a desire to "pick a fight," according to footage he posted on social media. Rogan, who has previously mentioned Johnson on The Joe Rogan Experience but never hosted him as a guest, has not responded publicly to the incident.

Johnson appeared disheveled and weary in a newly released mugshot—an image starkly contrasting his former presentation as the buff 'CEO of ancestral living.' He stares blankly into the camera, his eyes heavy and his expression devoid of the confidence he once projected online.
Since stepping back from YouTube—where he hasn't posted in eight months—Johnson has remained active on Instagram, where he shares increasingly erratic videos. In one recent post, he vaguely referenced his arrest while promoting Blue Scorpion Venom, a product marketed for pain relief.
The substance has not been scientifically proven to treat cancer, according to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Johnson continues to allude to a personal conflict with Rogan, referring to the podcaster only as 'some guy' while specifically naming Rogan's comedy venue, The Mothership. He claimed in one post that the 'threat' was actually a misunderstood gesture involving a gift. 'No laws will be broken,' he added, suggesting a desire for a physical confrontation with Rogan remains unresolved.
Johnson previously admitted in 2022 to using anabolic steroids, reportedly spending over $11,000 per month to maintain his physique. Concerned fans have urged him to seek help and avoid further public outbursts that could damage his reputation and family legacy.
The case remains under investigation by Austin authorities.

Drake's deep Instagram caption gets overshadowed by ab etching rumors
Drake's latest Instagram post, intended to deliver a deep philosophical message, quickly became a trending topic — but not for the reasons he may have hoped. On June 28, the rapper shared a series of images on Instagram, including a shirtless mirror selfie taken at a bar and a video of himself jogging in Bexar County, Texas. While his caption aimed to reflect on ambition and perseverance — 'I'm wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just …type' — fans bypassed the sentiment to question the authenticity of his abs. The post marks Drake's first public display of his physique since Kendrick Lamar's diss track 'Euphoria,' where Lamar referenced Drake's abdominal appearance, comparing them to a V12 engine — suggesting they might be artificially enhanced. Social media quickly lit up with speculation, memes, and accusations of 'ab etching.' One user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, 'Those might be the fakest abs I've ever seen.' Drake is setting out his freshly redone etch-a-sketch abs for the summer I see. Why won't he just leave us alone already?! No amount of public embarrassment will deter him. Bring back shame! — Fucking Victoria (@EthansMama4) June 29, 2025 drake went and got ab etching done. where they strategically remove fat on your stomach to accentuate your abs. this shit looks so unnatural, he woudlnt have the chest fat / love handles if he got down to the bf% needed for this definition naturally. — Degen, CPA (@Degen_CPA) June 29, 2025 Drake showing off his successful abed surgery — @ (@dotNoso) June 29, 2025 Those might be the fakest abs I've ever seen — Spectre (@spectre0799) June 29, 2025 Despite the wave of skepticism, some fans defended the rapper's dedication, linking the post to hints that he may be back in 'album mode.' Regardless, the conversation has been dominated by his physique, not his words. The moment underscores how public image can often eclipse intent — especially for someone as polarizing as Drake.

Vogue faces backlash over Lauren Sánchez Bezos wedding cover amid Anna Wintour exit
Vogue is under fire from readers and critics following the release of its June 2025 digital cover, featuring Lauren Sánchez Bezos—newly married to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos—posing in her custom Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown. The cover, revealed on Instagram as the couple's opulent wedding wrapped up in Venice, Italy, quickly ignited public outrage. The backlash coincided with longtime Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's announcement—made shortly before the cover dropped—that she would step down from her role after 37 years. While Wintour will remain global editorial director and Condé Nast's chief content officer, some commenters speculated her departure was timed to distance herself from the controversial decision. Far from being captivated by the gown or the couple's 'sprawling wedding weekend,' readers took issue with the choice of cover star. 'I can now see why Anna decided to get out before this cover dropped,' one user wrote. Another added, 'Did Anna seriously pick this as her last cover…' Further fueling the backlash were questions about the optics of privilege and influence. Sánchez, 55, has a reported net worth of $30 million, while Bezos, 61, is worth $226.7 billion. The couple reportedly spent $50 million on their wedding. One fashion photographer quipped, 'I didn't realize you could just buy a cover now 💀💀💀,' echoing skepticism over how Vogue selects its cover subjects. Others voiced frustration that Vogue missed a chance to spotlight women leading change. One commenter wrote, 'In a moment that could have elevated voices shaping the future, the spotlight went to a symbol of privilege, not progress.' Perhaps the most succinct response captured the public mood best: 'Read the f---ing room.'

Serbian police clash with protesters demanding snap polls
Listen to article Serbian police on Saturday evening clashed with anti-government protesters demanding snap elections and an end to the 12-year rule of President Aleksandar Vucic. Police deployed scores of officers in riot gear around government buildings, parliament and nearby Pionirski Park, where throngs of Vucic's backers from across the country gathered in a counter-protest. After the protest ended at around 10 p.m. (2000 GMT), some protesters who wanted to confront Vucic's backers threw bottles, rocks and flares at the police, who used force to disperse them in several locations across Belgrade's city centre. The protesters shouted: "Keep the shields down," calling on the police to stop intervening. Police detained several dozen protesters, while six police officers were reported injured in clashes, Dragan Vasiljevic, the director of police, told a press conference late on Saturday. Vucic said protesters attempted to topple the state. "They (protesters) wanted to topple Serbia, and they have failed," he wrote on his Instagram page. In a statement, students accused the government of an escalation of tensions. "They (authorities) ... opted for violence and repression against the people. Every radicalisation of the situation is their responsibility," students wrote on the X social network. In a statement, Ivica Dacic, the interior minister, said police will act to maintain public order. "The police will take all measures to establish public order and peace, ... and apply all its powers to repel attacks, and arrest all those who attacked the police," Dacic said. Months of protests across the country, including university shutdowns, have rattled Vucic, a populist, whose second term ends in 2027, when there are also parliamentary elections scheduled. Vucic's opponents accuse him and his allies of ties to organised crime, violence against rivals and curbing media freedoms, something they deny. The protesters, who want the government to heed their demands by the end of the protest, have pledged non-violence. Vucic has previously refused snap elections. His Progressive Party-led coalition holds 156 of 250 parliamentary seats. Earlier on Saturday, Vucic said unspecified "foreign powers" were behind the protest. He said police should be restrained, but warned that violence will not be tolerated. 'The country will be defended, and thugs will face justice,' he told reporters in Belgrade. Sladjana Lojanovic, 37, a farmer from the town of Sid in the north, said she came to support students. "The institutions have been usurped and ... there is a lot of corruption. Elections are the solution, but I don't think he (Vucic) will want to go peacefully," she told Reuters. In the days ahead of the protest, police arrested about a dozen anti-government activists, charging them with undermining the constitution and terrorism. All denied the charges. The Belgrade rally coincides with St. Vitus Day, venerated by most Serbs, which marks the 1389 Battle of Kosovo with Ottoman Turks.
