Each dish has been selected for its seasonality and finesse. Guests can begin with the Sabudana Truffle Khichdi , where delicate sago pearls meet the richness of truffle, or explore the bold comfort of Chicken 65 , paired with curd rice for a cooling Southern contrast.
Vegetarian mains include the Methi Mutter Malai , a gentle combination of fenugreek and green peas finished with cream, and Kofta Lazeez , made with kale and asparagus dumplings in a smooth cashew-based sauce. For a coastal interpretation, the Alleppey Raw Mango Fish Curry layers tender fish with green chilli and coconut milk. The Amritsari Chole , featuring slow-cooked chickpeas in a spiced tomato base, brings warmth and depth to the summer table.
Desserts offer a refined close. The Gulab Jamun Tiramisu blends two traditions in a contemporary presentation, while the Chocolate Bounty , paired with cardamom ice cream, brings richness with restraint.

India Launches E-Visa For Kuwait From July 14: 5-Year Tourist Visas Available

Beginning Monday, July 14, 2025, Kuwaiti citizens will be able to apply for Indian e-visas — a move hailed as a significant step in easing travel and strengthening bilateral ties. 'Kuwaiti citizens will now be able to apply for Indian visas entirely online,' announced Dr. Adarsh Swaika, India's Ambassador to Kuwait, on Sunday. Speaking at a press conference, Dr. Swaika described the launch of the e-visa platform as a 'qualitative shift' in the way the two nations engage. 'This has been a long-standing request from Kuwaiti citizens,' he noted, 'and it reflects the enduring historic ties between our countries.' The digital platform allows Kuwaitis to apply under five visa categories — tourism, business, medical, conference, and AYUSH (which covers alternative medicine, including yoga and Ayurveda) — without the need to visit a visa centre. All steps, including application, documentation, and payment, can now be completed online. Dr. Swaika said biometric data will be collected upon arrival at Indian airports. Most applications are expected to be processed within three to four days, although some minor technical issues may arise as the system is rolled out. Among the system's highlights: tourist visas will be valid for up to five years and will cost $80. Other visa types range from $40 to $80, depending on the purpose and duration of the visit. The ambassador called the initiative a gesture of goodwill aligned with India's broader effort to modernize consular services and deepen engagement with the Gulf region. He highlighted the special significance of this launch in Kuwait, a country with which India shares deep diplomatic and cultural connections.

Oman: Four-Year-Old Kerala Girl Dies In Haima Car Crash: Two Dead, Three Injured In Oman Road Accident

A tragic road accident in Haima, central Oman, claimed the lives of two people, including a four-year-old Indian girl, and left three others injured, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed on Tuesday. The young victim has been identified as Jesa Harin, daughter of Navas and Rasiya, originally from Keecheri near Mattannur in Kerala's Kannur district. The family had been residing in Nizwa, northern Oman. The accident occurred around 1:30am while the family was returning to Nizwa from a trip to Salalah. According to reports, the vehicle was struck by a sudden tornado, causing the driver to lose control. The force of the crash reportedly threw Jesa from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency response teams rushed to the site and provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to Haima Hospital. Medical authorities said one person remains in critical condition, while two others sustained moderate injuries. The vehicle was carrying five individuals at the time of the accident. Salalah, in southern Oman, is a popular summer destination known for its cool climate, light drizzles, and lush greenery—offering respite from the intense heat in other parts of the region. Every year, it draws thousands of tourists, especially during the Khareef (monsoon) season. Omani authorities have been working to ensure road safety on the 1,000-kilometre route between Muscat and Salalah. The ROP has deployed patrol units along the stretch and installed cautionary signs, including warnings about possible fuel shortages. Despite these efforts, road accidents continue to be a major concern in the country. The ROP cites speeding, driver fatigue, mobile phone use, and negligence as leading causes of fatalities and serious injuries. In light of this latest tragedy, the Royal Oman Police has once again urged all motorists to adhere strictly to traffic rules, maintain safe speeds, avoid risky overtaking, and remain alert while driving—especially on long-distance routes.
