Dave Rubin warns Jews to 'get the hell out' of NYC if Mamdani becomes mayor

Fox Newsa day ago
Political commentator Dave Rubin warned his fellow Jewish Americans on Friday that they should flee New York City if Zohran Mamdani becomes the new mayor in November.
Mamdani, a Ugandan-born Muslim New York State Assemblyman from Queens, won the race to become the Democratic Party's nominee for New York City mayor, but Republicans and even some Democrats have blasted the democratic socialist as too extreme.
He has also been criticized for his stance on Israel and refusing to condemn the phrase "Globalize the intifada," concerning many Jewish New Yorkers amid rising antisemitism.
"This guy is an absolute radical," Rubin said about Mamdani. "He said that if Bibi Netanyahu showed up in New York City he would arrest him... He's still chanting 'From to the river to the sea,' all of this stuff."
Mamdani immigrated to the United States when he was seven years old from South Africa and became a naturalized citizen in 2018 after he graduated from college.
When asked on a podcast in mid-June about phrases like "From the river to the sea" and "Globalize the intifada," Mamdani responded, "I know people for whom those things mean very different things, and to me, ultimately, what I hear in so many, is a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights."
The clip went viral, as Jewish advocacy groups and influencers slammed Mamdani for what they say is a refusal to condemn the phrase "Globalize the intifada," a rallying cry that has been used by anti-Israel protesters against the war in Gaza.
Many Democratic Party figures have called on Mamdani to denounce the phrase in recent days, including Sen. Kristen Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y., and MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said Sunday, "'Globalizing the intifada,' by way of example, is not an acceptable phrase. He's going to have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward."
He continued, "With respect to the Jewish communities that I represent, I think our nominee is going to have to convince folks that he is prepared to aggressively address the rise in antisemitism in the city of New York, which has been an unacceptable development."
Rubin warned that Mandani's New York could be yet another place Jewish people have to flee from for their safety.
"I've said it on my show for weeks with this guy, if he wins in the fall, if you are Jewish, you leave New York City, period. And the Jews have an awful lot to do with a thriving New York City for over a hundred years. But you get the Hell out," Rubin warned. "Unfortunately, that's a bit of the story of the Jews, but you get out. There will be pogroms."
"Already right now in New York City, they don't have functioning police," Rubin added. "Well, wait till this guy gets in charge where he's already calling for defunding the police, and all of the rest of it."
He argued that citizens' ability to defend themselves may be compromised as well, pointing to a tweet from Mamdani saying, "We need to ban all guns."
"I mean, regardless of what your feelings are on guns or the difference between, you know, a semi-automatic and a handheld or whatever, 'ban all guns,' I mean, no, that's a constitutionally guaranteed right," Rubin added. "So he is a radical of radicals."
Fox News Digital reached out to Mamdani for comment and did not receive an immediate reply.

Bob Vylan Frontman Speaks Out After Band Is Dropped From Manchester Music Festival

The punk rap duo Bob Vylan have spoken out after it was reported that they had been dropped from a music festival in Manchester. Over the weekend, the band caused controversy when they led the crowd at their Glastonbury set in a chant of 'death to the IDF', in reference to Israel's army. After facing condemnation from UK prime minister Sir Keir Starmer, the BBC – which broadcast the set live and uncensored on its iPlayer service – and Glastonbury's organisers, it was revealed that a criminal investigation was underway following sets by both Bob Vylan and fellow performers Kneecap. On Wednesday, BBC News reported that, in the wake of the controversy, Bob Vylan had been dropped from the line-ups of Radar Festival in Manchester, and Kave Fest in France. Reacting to the news, frontman Bobby Vylan wrote on Instagram: 'Silence is not an option. We will be fine, the people of Palestine are hurting.' 'Manchester we will be back,' he then vowed. Bobby previously addressed the Glastonbury furore in an Instagram post captioned: 'I said what I said.' He and bandmate Bobbie Vylan then released a joint statement which read: 'We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine. A machine whose own soldiers were told to use 'unnecessary lethal force' against innocent civilians waiting for aid. A machine that has destroyed much of Gaza.' Referring to the activist group Palestine Action and fellow Glastonbury performers Kneecap, the duo continued: 'We, like those in the spotlight before us, are not the story. We are a distraction from the story. And whatever sanctions we receive will be a distraction. 'The government doesn't want us to ask why they remain silent in the face of this atrocity. To ask why they aren't doing more to stop the killing. To feed the starving. The more they talk about Bob Vylan, the less they spend answering for their criminal inaction. 'We are being targeted for speaking up. We are not the first. We will not be the last. And if you care for the sanctity of human life and freedom of speech, we urge you to speak up, too.' Avon and Somerset Police said on Tuesday: 'Video footage and audio from Bob Vylan and Kneecap's performances at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday has been reviewed. 'Following the completion of that assessment process we have decided further enquiries are required and a criminal investigation is now being undertaken. A senior detective has been appointed to lead this investigation.' FBI relocating to Ronald Reagan Building in downtown Washington, D.C

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is relocating its headquarters to the The Ronald Reagan Building, closing the storied headquarters building it has occupied since 1975, the law enforcement agency said July 1. The agency is currently housed in the J. Edgar Hoover Building in downtown Washington D.C. 'This is a historic moment for the FBI,' FBI Director Kash Patel said in a joint announcement with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA)."Through our strong partnerships with members of Congress and GSA we are ushering FBI Headquarters into a new era and providing our agents of justice a safer place to work. Moving to the Ronald Reagan Building is the most cost effective and resource efficient way to carry out our mission." Back in May, Patel announced agency was moving its more than 1,500 personnel out of the downtown Washington D.C. building. The planned relocation from comes more than than two decades of looking for a new office and after federal officials cited an aging building, needed space to meet the agency's mission and workforce requirements. FBI's existing headquarters in the Hoover building "has accumulated years of deferred maintenance, suffering from an aging water system to concrete falling off the structure,' said GSA Acting Administrator Stephen Ehikian. 'I am proud of the GSA's commitment to working with Director Patel and his FBI team to find a building that best supports their mission and their people.' The plan headquarters the FBI inside a building once home to the U.S. Agency for International Development, the principal agency extending aid to countries recovering from disaster, which has since been dismantled by the Trump administration. The announcement did not provide a move date and USA TODAY has reached out to the FBI for comment. How many people work at Patel previously spoke about closing Hoover Building and transforming it into some type of a 'deep state' museum. In May, Patel said the FBI had about 11,000 of its 38,000 or so staff in the National Capital Region, a 50-mile radius around Washington, D.C. 'It's like a third of the workforce. A third of the crime doesn't happen here. So we're taking 1,500 of those folks and moving them out,' Patel said this spring. Where is the FBI headquarters? The FBI's headquarters is currently housed in the Hoover Building in Washington, D.C. at 935 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The Reagan Building complex, at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW, is currently home to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other tenants. "The GSA will continue to support and work with CBP on space that allows them to fulfill their mission while the transition of the FBI to the Reagan Building commences," the FBI and GSA wrote in the announcement. 'A world-class location' GSA Public Buildings Service Commissioner Michael Peters said the move provides "a world-class location for the FBI's public servants, but it also saves Americans billions of dollars on new construction and avoids more than $300 million in deferred maintenance costs at the J. Edgar Hoover facility.' Contributing: USA TODAY's Josh Meyer Natalie Neysa Alund is a senior reporter for USA TODAY. Reach her at nalund@ and follow her on X @nataliealund.

Big Beautiful Bill

The Big Beautiful Bill is on track for passage, even though the usual suspects are decrying the Medicaid cuts while simultaneously shrieking about the debt and deficit. I'm Tomi Lahren, more next. Look, the big beautiful bill isn't perfect. Good luck getting a perfect bill out of this Congress or any Congress, we won't live to see that day. The most important thing this bill does is fund border enforcement and deportations. And I realize the Medicaid stuff is really in the weeds for a lot of us but let me just say this, there is no reason hard working Americans should be endlessly subsidizing able bodied adults who choose not to work or not to work hard. And it's also worth noting that this bill doesn't 'cut' medicaid. Medicaid has ballooned into such a scam-ridding fraudulent, money laundering enterprise that these so-called cuts just 'cut' down on that. Medicaid growth still is, and has been outpacing inflation. The BBB cuts down on the GROWTH of medicaid. I understand politicians don't like to be charged with cutting anything, but it's worth noting these programs are going to go broke if something doesn't change. Perfect is the enemy of good and this bill is good enough. I'm Tomi Lahren and you can watch my show 'Tomi Lahren is Fearless' at Learn more about your ad choices. Visit
