Video: Cris Cyborg destroys latest boxing opponent in less than two minutes
Former UFC champion and current Bellator/PFL titleholder Cyborg had her third boxing match of the year on Saturday, this one at Fight Nights 3 in San Jose, Calif., promoted by Scott Coker and Gilbert Melendez.
It was another short affair, with Cyborg advancing her professional boxing record to 5-0 by smashing Precious Harris-McCray, who fell to 4-2, with a TKO less than two minutes into the opening round of the 154-pound contest.
Cyborg delivered her vintage aggressive approach to hurt Harris-McCray and force the stoppage. Check out the replay of the closing sequence below (via X):

Prior to the fight, the 39-year-old Cyborg told MMA Junkie she is curious what she can do in the boxing world as she winds down her MMA journey.
According to Cyborg, she intends to fight two more times under the PFL banner before hanging up her gloves, then will see what opportunities arise in boxing.
Cyborg said she expects an announcement of a PFL title fight against Sara Collins later this year, sometime in the coming days.

'Disappointed' Aaron Pico calls for scrapped Movsar Evloev bout to be rebooked at UFC 319
A post shared by Aaron Pico (@aaronpicousa) Aaron Pico's UFC debut will be delayed. Movsar Evloev (19-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) was forced out of his featherweight co-main event against Pico (13-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at UFC on ABC 9 on July 26 from Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Evloev's reason for withdrawing remains undisclosed, but Pico suggests that the pair could be rescheduled for as soon as next month at UFC 319 on Aug. 16 in Chicago – or at least that's what he's hoping for. "Not going to sugarcoat it. I'm pretty disappointed you pulled out of this one. I get that things happen, and I truly hope whatever's going on, you recover quickly. That said, my camps aren't cheap, and I'm ready to get in there and put on a show sooner rather than later. I understand there's an opening for us on August 16th in Chicago. We don't get promotions for calling in sick. I'll see you in Chicago." Pico's eagerness to compete is understandable, as the former Bellator standout hasn't fought since a finish over Henry Corrales in a lightweight bout in February 2024. Evloev is coming off a unanimous decision win against former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling this past December at UFC 310.

Alex Perez confirms 'fracture' caused withdrawal from UFC on ESPN 72 fight vs. Steve Erceg
Alex Perez opened up on his scrapped bout at UFC on ESPN 72. Perez (25-9 MMA, 7-5 UFC) was forced out of his Aug. 9 co-main event against Steve Erceg (12-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Perez confirmed the news on Instagram after an initial report from "The Fight Analyst" on X. The former title challenger revealed that an injury caused him to withdraw, but didn't specify what it was exactly. "Sucks to say that I have to pull out of my fight due to a fracture. It is going to take some time to heal. I was looking forward to fighting on August 9, but everything happens for a reason. Hopefully, @steveerceg gets a new opponent. I'll be back soon, better than ever. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this crazy journey. 🙏🏽" In his most recent outing, Perez injured his knee in a TKO loss to Tatsuro Taira in their UFC on ESPN 58 main event in June 2024. Erceg is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Brandon Moreno in the UFC on ESPN 64 headliner in March.
