Fact Check: Yes, Trump posted a 'Bomb Iran' Beach Boys parody video
In June 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump posted a parody song online of a 1965 song by The Beach Boys in which the lyrics "bomb Iran" replaced "Barbara Ann" over video of B-2 fighter jets dropping bombs.

In the days following U.S. strikes on nuclear sites in Iran in June 2025, a screen recording of a video U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly posted circulated on multiple platforms — including X (archived), Bluesky (archived) and Reddit (archived) — collectively receiving millions of views.
The video was a parody of The Beach Boys song "Barbara Ann," in which the words "Barbara Ann" were swapped out for "bomb Iran," with additional lyrics, such as: "Went to a mosque. Gonna throw some rocks" and "Time to turn Iran into a parking lot."
Although several users expressed skepticism about the post, the screen recordings were authentic. Trump really did post a parody video (archived) on his social media platform Truth Social, displaying footage of B-2 bombers dropping explosives in a parody of "Barbara Ann" on June 24, 2025. The post received more than 32,600 likes, as of this writing.

The parodied version of the song is not new. American band Vince Vance & the Valiants released the song in 1980 — at the time of the 1979-1981 hostage crisis in Iran in which Iranian students in Tehran took dozens of Americans hostage.
Although The Beach Boys popularized the song in 1965, doo-wop group The Regents originally released the song four years earlier, in 1961. The original song features completely different lyrics to the parodied version. One verse of the original is as follows:
Went to a dance, lookin' for romance
Saw Barbara Ann, so I thought I'd take a chance
On Barbara Ann, Barbara Ann (bar, bar, bar, bar, Barbara Ann)

This also wasn't the first time a prominent political figure had referenced the song. During the U.S. presidential campaign in 2007, former U.S. Sen. John McCain sang the song to a crowd in South Carolina after an audience member asked him when the U.S. would send an "airmail message" to Iran. McCain later claimed in interviews that the reference was a joke.
In sum, the claim that Trump posted a video featuring the song "Bomb Iran" by Vince Vance & the Valiants — a parody of "Barbara Ann" by The Beach Boys — is true. The parody song has been around since 1980, when audiences popularized it during the Iran-U.S. hostage crisis.

Driscoll said her son told his friends: 'Hey, you guys have to go home because I'm not getting along with my sister.' She added, 'If they want to play with friends, they have to be getting along with their siblings.' 'If the family rule is that playdates are contingent on sibling cooperation, then it's logical that conflict between siblings may result in that privilege being revoked.' Zeltser says 'prioritizing family relationships' is the message. 'Reinforcing the value of getting along with siblings before engaging with peers can help children learn to maintain harmony in their closest relationships,' she explains. 'As children grow older, peers often become more influential than parents or siblings. By establishing early on that family comes first, parents can instill a sense of loyalty, mutual respect and advocacy within the family unit. This can serve as a protective factor during adolescence, when peer influence becomes stronger and not always positive.' Zeltser notes the potential downside of canceling a playdate, especially if it happens a lot and kids continue to argue. 'It could result in fewer invitations from peers who don't want to risk their time being cut short,' says Zeltser. BTS will return in spring 2026 with a new album and world tour
Their reunion? It's smooth like butter. The K-pop septet BTS will return in spring 2026 with a new album and world tour. Members Jin, RM, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Jung Kook and Suga made the announcement Tuesday during a livestream on Weverse, an online fan platform owned by BTS management company Hybe. It was the first time all seven members have broadcast live together since September 2022. 'We'll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,' the band said in a statement. 'Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member's thoughts and ideas. We're approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.' According to a press release, the band will be in the United States this month to begin working on new music. The 2026 album will mark their first since 2022's anthology, 'Proof,' their 2021 Japanese compilation album 'BTS, the Best,' and their last studio album, 'Be,' released in 2020. They also announced a world tour, their first in nearly four years. The news arrives a few weeks after BTS superstars RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook were discharged from South Korea's military after fulfilling their mandatory service. In South Korea, all able-bodied men aged 18 to 28 are required by law to perform 18-21 months of military service under a conscription system meant to deter aggression from rival North Korea. Six of the group's seven members served in the army, while Suga, the last to return, fulfilled his duty as a social service agent, an alternative to military service.
